Xbox One Energizer Charger
If you are looking for a rechargeable battery for your xbox one controller(s) this is the number item out on the market. There are other charging docks and batteries available as well. But this one beats all the competitors. Nyko has a charging dock that i think is so 7th generation. It really is. Nyko made a dock for the 360 and PS3. I own the 360 version and never used it. The nyko has a fat cord connected and can not be removed. Enough talk on the other chargers and back to explaining why the Energizer is the best. the design its absolutely next gen. The controllers look like they are floating in the air. The charge light indicators are so cool, bright and colorful. They are bright red when not fully charged and bright green when fully charged. The PS4 version is bright blue when fully charged. they are both the same and awesome. It is very easy to hookup and easier to place you chargers on to get a stylish charge. The power cord is detachable which makes it very easy to hide if you don't care about the light being lit. But the cord is just as easy to hide when plugged in and on. The cord is a very very thin american 2 prong. If you like to game in the dark it makes your experience feel futuristic. As the lights brighten your gaming setup. Hurry and buy this now. I waited months to buy them because i had no idea they were different from the other version when it comes to the style of the cord. i hate cords. but this cord is so thin and easy to hide when on or off.
I just picked this up from my local GameStop, and it works like a charm. The charging is fast, the kit also includes covers that'll fit over the rechargeable batteries. The Charging base even has cool LEDs to let you know when charging is done..
I did find a cheaper deal on Amazon, but I love me my Gamestop points.. :)
All in all, the perfect companion for the XBOX One Controller (or two)..
Get it already!!
Got tired of replacing batteries, got this and it works great. No more buying AA batteries that only seem to work for 6 to 8 hours. Got home charged one controller in about 2 hours. And used that controller for more than 8 so far and still has more of a charge than those expensive AA's. Must have for gamers who play with friends for long hours!!!
good but could be better
the play and charge kit is better battery wise because its a lithium ion battery, the ones sold with this here are nimh which aren't as good. but its up to you just thought id let everyone know
6-months, no problem
Works great! no issues of batteries going bad or overheating when left on charger like some with the 360. the bright light is a little annoying because it is in my bedroom, and it lights up the room at night. other than that it has been working great for 6 months!
Should be an Excellent Product
I had the same product for the xbox 360 and i plan to move on with the next gen version... expecting a great product
Perfect, just what I was looking for
I bought this yesterday and I set it up, its a small design works perfectly with the Xbox One controller. I like the fact that they give you covers for the controller so all you have to do is plug in the batteries and close the custom cover and slide it on the charger. The price is "ok", i think 35$ which is 10$ more then the NYKO; is most likely b/c its ENERGIZER. All in all great product I hope it lasts me a long time.
With this being the first charging dock I have ever bought, I have nothing to compare it to, but it is awesome. The dock holds two controllers, which are easy to place in the controller and even easier to remove. It comes with a AC power cable, so you don't have to plug it into your Xbox, I just wish the wire was a little longer. The lights are clear and easy to see unless you are in a very bright room, and they just look awesome. The dock itself looks pretty good, and it provides a good storage place for my controller. The batteries recharge fairly fast, and last a long time, I would just recommend not leaving your controller in the dock too long after it finishes charging for fear of ruining the battery life. (I just unplug the dock until I need to charge the controller). But I give this a 10/10 especially considering the extremely affordable price tag.
I use the Energizer stand for the Xbox 360, I have had no issues with it. That said I picked up my pre-order controller for Xbox one, and the Battery charger stand. looks good and I just like the 360 version I don't expect any problems from this one.
Would be good if charged fully
I was looking for rechargeable batteries for my Xboxone and went into a store. First off they don't cary all. The one I wanted original was only sold online. Of course the one with perfect stars. The reps at the store told me they had no returns on this one. So I took a dive and bought it. First bad thing was no directions at all to install batteries correctly. The dock seems very cheap and could crack easily. What made me return it is that it did not charge the batteries fully I thought maybe that I would give it a second charge and again did not charge fully even thou the charge turned green meaning charging was done. I returned back and ordered the one originally.
