Xbox One Energizer Charger
I just picked this up from my local GameStop, and it works like a charm. The charging is fast, the kit also includes covers that'll fit over the rechargeable batteries. The Charging base even has cool LEDs to let you know when charging is done..
I did find a cheaper deal on Amazon, but I love me my Gamestop points.. :)
All in all, the perfect companion for the XBOX One Controller (or two)..
Get it already!!
good but could be better
the play and charge kit is better battery wise because its a lithium ion battery, the ones sold with this here are nimh which aren't as good. but its up to you just thought id let everyone know
Should be an Excellent Product
I had the same product for the xbox 360 and i plan to move on with the next gen version... expecting a great product
Perfect, just what I was looking for
I bought this yesterday and I set it up, its a small design works perfectly with the Xbox One controller. I like the fact that they give you covers for the controller so all you have to do is plug in the batteries and close the custom cover and slide it on the charger. The price is "ok", i think 35$ which is 10$ more then the NYKO; is most likely b/c its ENERGIZER. All in all great product I hope it lasts me a long time.
With this being the first charging dock I have ever bought, I have nothing to compare it to, but it is awesome. The dock holds two controllers, which are easy to place in the controller and even easier to remove. It comes with a AC power cable, so you don't have to plug it into your Xbox, I just wish the wire was a little longer. The lights are clear and easy to see unless you are in a very bright room, and they just look awesome. The dock itself looks pretty good, and it provides a good storage place for my controller. The batteries recharge fairly fast, and last a long time, I would just recommend not leaving your controller in the dock too long after it finishes charging for fear of ruining the battery life. (I just unplug the dock until I need to charge the controller). But I give this a 10/10 especially considering the extremely affordable price tag.
Would be good if charged fully
I was looking for rechargeable batteries for my Xboxone and went into a store. First off they don't cary all. The one I wanted original was only sold online. Of course the one with perfect stars. The reps at the store told me they had no returns on this one. So I took a dive and bought it. First bad thing was no directions at all to install batteries correctly. The dock seems very cheap and could crack easily. What made me return it is that it did not charge the batteries fully I thought maybe that I would give it a second charge and again did not charge fully even thou the charge turned green meaning charging was done. I returned back and ordered the one originally.
I use the Energizer stand for the Xbox 360, I have had no issues with it. That said I picked up my pre-order controller for Xbox one, and the Battery charger stand. looks good and I just like the 360 version I don't expect any problems from this one.
Great Charging Dock
I am very happy with my purchase! But I feel like the stand is a little cheap, but the cool green and red LED lights make up for that right away. It would've been cool if you could charge a battery without a controller considering I only have one controller but that can be overlooked quite easily since this is made for charging 2 controllers. I am very happy with this all and all and recommend to all!
Okay, with a few flaws
Product functions just fine and is ascetically pleasing. However, there are two things I do not like. First, the light stays on once the charge is full. Unless you like bright glowing green lights at 2am, you will need to remove them every night. Second, because these actually rest ON the charging unit, they were designed with a bit of a hump on the battery cover. This takes away from the new design of the new XBO controller. if you love the fact that the back is flush, you will need to kiss that feature goodbye.
Looks greats, performs well.
I'll start with the batteries do not charge the way MS batteries do. The kit comes with two batteries and two covers that allow charging through the back of the cover while docked. My energizer batteries would not charge with the MS charge and play USB cable. Just saying if you go this route don't stock up on MS batteries,
As to performance they work well. I have two controllers and one is always docked so I have never come close to a dead controller. The style is great and looks awesome in a home theatre environment.
