This product is awesome. I bought it for myself and I put it on top of my xbox one and it looks really cool while it charges! Charges pretty fast and also came with 2 rechargeable battery packs. It lights up green when fully charged and red when charging.

I've had this charging station for almost two months. This was a great while it worked. Convenient and stylish. Unfortunately, it's not the sturdiest thing in the world. It feels very cheap and plasticky. Not a problem, up until the plastic that holds the controllers started to bend little by little. Now, it's almost completely useless as it does not have the strength to hold my two standard Xbox One controllers any more. In other words: I can't charge them any more. I'll note that I've always gently placed the controllers in place, and the charging station has stayed in the same spot since I've bought it. So there's no reason that it wore out so quickly. Like I said, it worked great. But uses very cheap material. If you end up purchasing one, good luck. But I'm not buying another one. I'll stick with rechargeable AA batteries, which last years and years.
Rated 6 out of 10 by schultzy Works well, but is not a long term solution.
I bought this product on day one of the Xbox one release, and have had the same one ever since. I've only ever had one controller, so I've only ever used one port on this charger. The actual charging bays loosen over time to the point where the charging terminals on the outside of the battery don't touch the ones on the dock, so over time the dock becomes useless, each bay lasted me roughly 9 months before it would no longer touch the terminals and charge the battery. The batteries themselves though had a fairly long life. The first battery lasted roughly a year before it would start running out of juice during a long (3-5 hour) gaming session, And I was still using the second battery when the second bay stopped charging batteries. So I've been able to use the bay for a little over a year and a half using only one dock and battery at a time. So if you have two controllers figure about 9ish months until neither dock will charge batteries.

first of love the fact it comes with two batteries. I have had this product for over a year now and its still going strong. It has en extra long cable unlike the others so i can put it anywhere. it stacks the controllers so it fits well into small places and, even with my kids slamming into the desk, they have not fallen off. i put the controllers on it when not in use The only issue i have is it starting to have an issue with making connection between the batteries and the prongs on the port. I believe this is because of spring fatigue from in and out with the controllers. When it finally wears out defiantly replacing it with the same product.
Rated 1 out of 10 by SingularityM104 Don't bother.
Used this lightly (as I have a PS4 I mainly use) for a few months and it very quickly became finicky. Now it's so particular, that I can barely get it to work. It's much like a phone charger that only works if you turn it in the exact right angle, and stops charging intermittently for literally no reason. Barely even works at all now. I'd rather just keep changing out batteries to be honest. Waste of money.

I don't believe the people who gave this a 10 are reviewing the same product. For starters the batteries are wider and won't allow for the cap to be put over them when installed. Secondly, the charging unit itself has no way to hold the controller in place so you spend way too much time trying to lay it in place so it will actually charge. It's by far the worst product I've ever bought for any system. DO NOT BUY THIS CHARGER.

With this being the first charging dock I have ever bought, I have nothing to compare it to, but it is awesome. The dock holds two controllers, which are easy to place in the controller and even easier to remove. It comes with a AC power cable, so you don't have to plug it into your Xbox, I just wish the wire was a little longer. The lights are clear and easy to see unless you are in a very bright room, and they just look awesome. The dock itself looks pretty good, and it provides a good storage place for my controller. The batteries recharge fairly fast, and last a long time, I would just recommend not leaving your controller in the dock too long after it finishes charging for fear of ruining the battery life. (I just unplug the dock until I need to charge the controller). But I give this a 10/10 especially considering the extremely affordable price tag.
Rated 10 out of 10 by FrankenPickle Energizer charger over all others
I decided to purchase the Nyko charge base over this to begin with about a month ago. Huge mistake. The reason I purchased Nyko was because it was cheaper than this, the Energizer charger. I purchased the Energizer charge last week after being unhappy with the Nyko charger for the entire month, and the Energizer charger was on sale for $20 on a pre Black Friday sale. I wish I had bought the Energizer charger to begin with. Spent more money and get the right charger the first time. They both charge in about the same amount of time. That's the only plus for Nyko. Energizer base/ dock make way more sense. Takes up a ton less space and your controller actually stays in the docks without having to balance it perfectly. Nyko you had to work too hard just to get it to start charging. 100% full charge every time. With Nyko they'd only get about 80% charged every time. Charged LED lights on the base/ dock make way more sense with the Energizer base. Energizer shows red while it's charging, green when it's ready. And stays green. Nyko will give you 3 red LEDs and then would just go out after an uncertain amount of time. I assumed when it was fully charged, but I was wrong. Please spend the extra money and get the Energizer. It is well worth it. Or do like I did and wait for a sale.
Rated 5 out of 10 by Deadman1978 Great at charging batteries, disappointing design
The price isn't bad and it charges the batteries pretty quickly.
The design does not allow for accessories, such as headset adapters, to be plugged into the controller while it is charging.
Would also be nice if there were a way to charge a battery without it being inserted into a controller.
If I were to purchase again I would pick up the Energizer version.

I hate the fact that I only get about 2hrs of game play on a single charge and the quality is not great I should have bought the nyko charger instead of this garbage
