Based on the promotional and following the game on Facebook, this is without a doubt...something I would advise in getting. It's going to bring the characters of DW and SW back into the strange new world with characters numbering at 132 in total. A new Hydra has appeared several years after the death of Orochi and literally kills nearly everyone simply because it was far too strong. The only generals that are alive consist of Sima Zhao, Ma Chao, and Takenada Hanbei. Everything seems lost till a mysterious woman sends them back in time to rescue their fallen comrades in a final attempt to defeat the HUGE Hydra. A new feature of the Warriors Orochi 3 is that you can actually create your own stages that you previously cleared. Once again, I am really looking forward to this game and I know you will enjoy it as much as I will when I get it

I may just be old school, but I could not get into this game nearly as much as the first two Orochi games. I was disappointed out of the box. It felt too easy to defeat officers and I did not care for the level designs or the new graphics either. Watching everyone you hit light up into a gold color after a short while becomes seriously bland. I do not understand why so many like this game. All the older warriors games were better. I found the menus to be very confusing as well compared to previous games. This was just not even close to the older titles and for those who preach for NEW THINGS in games I guess you got what you wanted. All the little boys who require games to become life instead of just be good fun are ruining the demand for good games. Either that or I am growing past being able to enjoy video games. Bring back simple old school gaming and leave all this freedom of choice and interaction between character junk out of it. Games need to be straight forward. The heck with this idea that we should be able to do whatever we want to do in these open world games. (Tho this is not one of those.) Good luck for those of you of responsible age decide to give this game a try. Doesn't cut it for me.

On a scale of 1 to Awesome, this game definitely reaches awesome. Warriors Orochi 3 is one of the greatest, if not THE Greatest, Hack-n-Slash game. I'd say there are about more than 100 characters, each with their own unique personality. Storyline is kind of "Meh..." but who cares? The game has great lastability, but now you can even play with your friends! Only one downside : The voices are in Japanese, but I understand that it's incredibly difficult to find more than 100 voice actors, so I'll let it slide. Sometimes, I wish that there would be an English option, but personally, Japanese sounds a little better. I'm pretty grateful for TecmoKoei that they brought Musashi Miyamoto back also... man that guy was a TANK.
Rated 0 out of 10 by JunkGamer Exactly what it should be
Based on all of the media I've seen, this game will be everything fans of the franchise want. They've added characters from Warriors: Legends of Troy, which Xbox 360 players never got, and some, apparently, from Bladestorm, as well as at least Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and Ayane from Dead Or Alive. The Japanese version has the force of Jin from Dynasty Warriors 7, and so probably will the North American version. Screenshots from the official site imply that Kiyomori Taira and Da Ji will be making appearances as well. I think we can expect terrible voice-acting and legions of enemies who scream like babies when slain, but that's sort of become an attraction for these games. Rumor has it that the game will support local co-op, which is becoming more and more of a rarity, as well as online co-op. The story looks to have something to do with going back in time to prevent officers deaths in order to get their help, but frankly who cares about the story? It's all about the hack-and-slash. Strangely the official website lists the 20th of March as the release date, while GameStop lists the 27th at the time of this writing. Tecmo/Koei imply via the official site that the game will be released for both PS3 and Xbox360, though it seems it will only be downloadable on PS3, but retail on Xbox. I still have hope that GameStop is hedging their bets on the release, and that it'll come out on the 20th.

I love the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. So obviously i love the Warriors Orochi games as well. I was excited to hear this third instalment was going to come to America as well... Cant wait for this game to come out.. The fact that the voices will only be in Japanese doesnt bother me at all, because they could come out with an english voice over DLC later... they did for Dynasty Warriors 7 for the Japanese voices... doing the vise versa shouldnt be too hard.. Im really looking forward to this game and cant wait to play as ryu XD.
Rated 0 out of 10 Almost a fail, but not really
Don't let my title fool you. I was all ready to write that this was full of fail for jumping from the PS2 to the 360. But then I found out that it is also available as a digital download through PSN, so I am happy again. I love this series and I will be getting it for my PS3 as soon as I can. In a way, this series is better than either Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors and I know if you are buying this for your 360 that you will love it.

Though there are a few rumors I won't enjoy (like no english voice acting) Warriors Orochi 3 looks to be an awesome sequel to the previous two, and I'm deffinatly going to choose this over the other titles out right now. I trust that this will be the game that breaks the lackluster year, as it looks amazing, and if it's anything like the previous games, than I will spend atleast 200+ hours playing it.
Rated 10 out of 10 LEGENDARY!!
I have been a fan of the Warrior series since pretty much the beginning and I must say, Koei has done a great job!
The story mode in this game is incredible especially compared to the previous Warrior Orochi games!
So many characters so little time! over 120 just saying
And so much DLC is coming out, I simply cannot wait to play it all!
Bravo Koei Bravo!
