Wanted: Weapons of Fate
this game is awesome. It is a sweet action game with good graphics. The only bad thing is the challenge. The so is smart but they just don't kill you easy. But you can turn up the difficulty. I am dissapointed there is no mulitplayer in it. It could have a good online mode but it just doesn't that is very dissapointing to someone like me who plays shooters and likes a cool multiplayer battle. Over all the game is pretty short you blaze through the levels with ease. If you were a fan of the movie like me you would most likely enjoy this game. It is fast paced and has nasty adreniline moves. That is how you can curve bullets and shoot while switching cover. There is a boss in almost all the levels. My favorite part is the slow mo sequences you have to shoot certain enemies and shoot the bullets they shoot at you. The melée attacks are also awesome. If you go behind an enemy you can grab him and use him as a shield. Overall I give this game an 8.5 out of 10
I bought this game after a friend suggested it about 3 months after it was released. I took his advice and went to my local GameStop to buy it a few days later. During this time I was low on cash, so I had planned to buy it, beat it, and sell it at a profitable price. Those plans fell through when I actually started playing the game. I beat it on the normal difficulty, not too hard, not too easy. I loved it so much that I decided to beat it on the highest difficulty as well. Then, I did a speed-run of it. After that, I did a quality play-through to see how well I could complete the game (deaths, kills, and collection wise). I played the heck out of it and soon allowed a good friend of mine to take it off my hands at no cost, as long as when he was done with it, he wasn't to sell it. The game has been passed around from my group of friends to another group of friends, until I moved and it turned up in the hands of a new friend of mine. I'm not even joking. The same Serial Number, same sharpie mark I left on it, and everything. I was impressed and it was awesome. He moved across the country and I'm glad to say that he is spreading it in a completely new part of the country. I love this game.
freakin awesome but short as hell!
I've been dying to play this game ever since i saw the preview in the wanted dvd. The game play is amazing and the bullet curving is more epic than the movie. the fact that u can play as wesley or cross makes this game better than first expected. the storyline is great but its just too damn short which will really piss u off if your really getting into it. but the replay value is good, you could probably replay this game over and over many times without getting bored. the challenge is'nt much but u can always set the difficulty settings to your pleasing. so overall, this games challenge depends on how high u set the difficulty, the gameplay is amazing, fun, cool, the story is is very interesting if u pay close attention. so i recommend this game to anyone who loves cool epic slow-mo shooters.
After playing the demo on XBox Live I could not wait for the game to be released. I have found so far that the game has a good storyline and the control responses are great. I am loving the way the controls were layed out for this particular game. I would definately recrommend this game to anyone who enjoys shooters as much as I do. The graphics for this game are also about as good as it get's with today's technology. I have not yet encountered any skipping or jamming in the graphics at all. I would say the team of people putting this game together did an excellent job of not trying to rush the game out onto the shelves. We have seen this to many times to keep track of. For instance 007 Quantum of Sollace, this game was very obviously rushed out to accompany the release of the movie as I found many errors in the graphics and did not like the response of the controls. Anyway coodos to the all the folks who worked on Wanted, it is a kick ass game. Thanks
Unfortunatly, I rented this game. But now I'm definitely going out to buy it soon. :) This game has an AMAZING story line to it. It's way fun, and very easy to get addicted too. If your into Saints Row you'll definitely love this game. It's really cool how you can curve your bullets, so you can hit an enemy whose behind a block or car. I would strongly recomend you to try this game out. Also it's way neat how if you play the game on Normal you can get both Normal and Easy achivements unlocked while doing the game once. So if your a BIG achivement hunter like I am this game is probably the easiest to get achivements. But there is one flaw out of the whole game. The story line is a bit...weird. But yet it's fun. As well as starting out in the game can be a bit difficult. But once you get a hang of things you can easily go through the game. (I was quite sad when I had to return it. I liked it THAT much.)
Wanted is great!
Stab this guy in the neck, shoot an explosive barrel and take out 3 foes, and curve a bullet around a corner and kill an enemy. That's one of the awesome battle scenes you can do in Wanted W.O.F. Through out the game you are Wesley and his dad. You are a in a fraternity of assassins. The game takes place five minutes after the movie. No Angelina :( This game will have you hooked for a few hours, because its only about 4 hrs long. The hardest difficulty does help lengthen the time. Its got a lot of good in it, but a few bad things. The good: Curve bullets, great story, impressive voice acting, awesome kills, lots of characters to unlock, close combat and headshot modes. The bad: short story, turret mode sucks.?: Couldnt they have resurrected Angelina for the game?
Worth Only 1 Dollar
Only thing going for this game is the nice environment graphics. Other then that, there are numerous problems. The game won't let you have multiple saves, so u have to redo scenes if u die, which isn't too bad cuz they r reasonably short. The character cannot jump or do anything but move in a narrow defined path, essentially u move forward. Game is very short and I was able to finish it in 2 days. Can't look around when hiding behind object without exiting hide position and getting shot at. Turret mode using machine gun almost hides the entire half the screen and can't even see what your shooting at, basically shooting blindly and estimating. Overall, it's barely worth 1 Dollar. Fortunately I paid preowned price of only 3 or 4, but even that was waste of money. I would b totally upset if i paid full price when it came out.
This game is much better than I thought it would be. At first I thought it was a game adaptation of the movie itself, but when I heard it took place after the movie with an original story line, I thought it would come out even better. And I was right. Set about five hours after the events of the film, Wesley Gibson continues his transformation into a full-fledged assassin and heir to a legacy of a secret fraternity of assassins. He continues his quest with a new mission to seek out the French chapter of The Fraternity, hunt down The Immortal and finally discover the truth about his family. Throughout the game, you utilize mind blowing features like curving bullets, close combat, bullet time (like in Max Payne), stabbing enemies with a knife from around the corner, human shields, the list is endless. All in all, this is a game you'll have to see for yourself.
Great game for a short time
All together wanted is a great game but it lasts about 2 and a half hours. the graphics are great they did a great job of making wesley, cross, pekwarsky, and the other characters that weren't in the movie. the story is really interesting you can really get drawn in if you pay attention to the cutscenes. there are slow motion events in which you have to shoot the bullets coming at you and the dude that shot them or you die or take a lot of damage. there are about 2 turret sequences which last abou 2 minutes each and they are pretty hard but not impossible to do. there are also around 2 sniping sequences which are pretty fun, and you dont have to worry about reloading. overall wanted is a great game and anyone who enjoys fast paced shooters should play it.
This was awesome
I believe that this game was one of the best first person shooter games since Halo 3 came out. The graphics are amazing and the sound quality makes it feel like your the one killing hundreds of people. I also liked how they fit the character of Wesley, his ruthless yet humorous approach. Also I was interested in the short story about cross, Wesley's newly deceased father (you'll understand once you see the movie) and the story of how wesley came to be. The only small problem that I had with this game was that it was too short. I mean the story was great, but they could have just tweaked it a little bit. I got this game 4 days ago and I beat it after 3 days. Still this game has some interesting qualities and nonetheless this was truly a really great game. I would recommend it to anyone who has seen Wanted and others who just like shooting people in the face and curving bullets.
