Product Details:

Set directly after the events of the film, Wesley continues his transformation into a full-fledged assassin and heir to a legacy of a secret fraternity of assassins. He continues his quest with a new mission to seek out the French chapter of The Fraternity, hunt down The Immortal and finally discover the truth about his family. In Wanted: Weapons of Fate, become the uber-assassin Wesley Gibson as you control an arsenal of skills such as Assassin Time, which enables you to take down multiple enemies with sheer precision; use the Advanced Cover System to shield yourself and move through the environment with remarkable speed; and even bend the laws of physics by Curving Bullets. Your destiny awaits. Join us.

Based on Universal Pictures' action-thriller Wanted, this game promises to deliver the same fantastic visual style, in-your-face attitude and edge-of-your-seat action as the blockbuster motion picture. The game continues the story of hero Wesley Gibson, picking up the action where the film leaves off and creating an entirely new chapter exploring both Wesley's journey to becoming an unmatched überassassin and the epic fiction of "The Fraternity." Featuring intense third-person action, the Wanted video game will take combat to the next level with iconic moves -- such as "Curving Bullets" and "Assassin Time" -- drawn directly from the film, as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic.

  • Like the movie, the game revolves around a centuries-old, secret fraternity of assassins that kill people as dictated by the mysterious Loom of Fate
  • Curve bullets and kill your targets, just like the characters in the blockbuster film
  • Close, hand-to-hand combat provides exciting game play
  • Take out your targets by hitting an explosive object and creating a deadly blast
  • Loaded with greater characters, such as The Russian, The Immortal, and The Killer
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worth Only 1 Dollar Only thing going for this game is the nice environment graphics. Other then that, there are numerous problems. The game won't let you have multiple saves, so u have to redo scenes if u die, which isn't too bad cuz they r reasonably short. The character cannot jump or do anything but move in a narrow defined path, essentially u move forward. Game is very short and I was able to finish it in 2 days. Can't look around when hiding behind object without exiting hide position and getting shot at. Turret mode using machine gun almost hides the entire half the screen and can't even see what your shooting at, basically shooting blindly and estimating. Overall, it's barely worth 1 Dollar. Fortunately I paid preowned price of only 3 or 4, but even that was waste of money. I would b totally upset if i paid full price when it came out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worthwhile Investment I bought this game after a friend suggested it about 3 months after it was released. I took his advice and went to my local GameStop to buy it a few days later. During this time I was low on cash, so I had planned to buy it, beat it, and sell it at a profitable price. Those plans fell through when I actually started playing the game. I beat it on the normal difficulty, not too hard, not too easy. I loved it so much that I decided to beat it on the highest difficulty as well. Then, I did a speed-run of it. After that, I did a quality play-through to see how well I could complete the game (deaths, kills, and collection wise). I played the heck out of it and soon allowed a good friend of mine to take it off my hands at no cost, as long as when he was done with it, he wasn't to sell it. The game has been passed around from my group of friends to another group of friends, until I moved and it turned up in the hands of a new friend of mine. I'm not even joking. The same Serial Number, same sharpie mark I left on it, and everything. I was impressed and it was awesome. He moved across the country and I'm glad to say that he is spreading it in a completely new part of the country. I love this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bullet curve is ossim you will seriously abuse that ability, it's really cool when it has a slow mo bullet cam with some of the shots. The gameplay is like gears of war (then again most 3rd person shooters nowadays are). Occasionally you do like this cool rapid kill thing where your character Wesley or his father Cross, do killer acrobatics and bullet dodges while killing like 10 men at a time. This game is really good with action and when you get used to the abilities you'll be dropping bad guys like flies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun I bought this game around its launch, for the retail price of $59.99. Seeing as I was a kid then (about 13), I had no problem with that. Since this game has been out for about 3 years now, it has dropped in price to a whopping $10. Go buy it. It's most certainly fun, and it continues the story right from where the movie left off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from freakin awesome but short as hell! I've been dying to play this game ever since i saw the preview in the wanted dvd. The game play is amazing and the bullet curving is more epic than the movie. the fact that u can play as wesley or cross makes this game better than first expected. the storyline is great but its just too damn short which will really piss u off if your really getting into it. but the replay value is good, you could probably replay this game over and over many times without getting bored. the challenge is'nt much but u can always set the difficulty settings to your pleasing. so overall, this games challenge depends on how high u set the difficulty, the gameplay is amazing, fun, cool, the story is is very interesting if u pay close attention. so i recommend this game to anyone who loves cool epic slow-mo shooters.
