Transformers The Game
This game is very good with the storyline. Almost exactly the same as the movie, some parts of the game you might get frustrated because they may be hard for you to do. You also get to choose to be an autobot, decepticon or you could do both campaigns. You get to be characters in the game like optimus prime and megatron. The graphics are amazing it looks totally real like the movie. Some of the parts in the game are just extra, you don't see them in the movie. Driving your characters disguise(car, plane and tank etc.) can be hard in the beginning, when you start. The things that are cool are that you can climb buildings, fire big guns and the best of all destroy almost everything!! I would choose both campaigns if I were because they are different, harder or easier for you. If you are not aloud to do violent action or you might be to young, you might want to wait a couple of years to play the game. All in all I would give the game a 9 rating for almost every part. Last, if your are not big with transformers, probably not for you.
More than Meets the Eye
Transformers The Game is a stunning, fantastic game. Transformers The Game has the same plot as the movie, and you get to play half of the robots in the Transformers Universe including, Optimus Prime. This game is really fun and fantastic that you should really buy this game. Each storyline has five levels in it , and has four missions in each level. When you defeat the game you get an extra level, the Transformers' home planet. When you're in a boss battle, you have to throw something at them, an then start punching or shooting your enemy. When you're battling a drone, you just punch them, and then they shred to pieces. They might put a shield on, but the shield wouldn't last so long. The controls are so easy to remember amd their easy to use. The graphics of the game are not that good, but the transformations look realistic. The length of the game is probably about six hours, but it's easy to defeat. The storyline is very good, just like I said, it's like the movie, but some missions aren't like the movie.
The average Sucky movie game
Transformers the Game: Is not that good. I didn't have very high hopes for it because it was a movie game. All i was looking for was decent shoot em up action, cool transformer designs, and some cheap entertainment for a few hours. It didn't even meet those expectations! The gameplay is bland and unimaginative. For example, even if there are cool effects when you melee something, the melee system is crap and is tied to one button, which means you'll be mashing the same button over and over. the shooting is quite bland and gets old real fast. The game is at it's best when you're running around and blowing up stuff, and even that is boring real fast. There are other complaints, there's basically no story, the sound is week, and the driving is irrational, you can jump up a giant bridge to fly 100 ft in the air, but sometimes you can't even get over a small curve! The only good thing i can remember is the graphics. Transformers look great and there are great effects and explossions.
Ok...this is an OK game but there are some downfalls like the melee. As people have said it sucks because you don't get many melee attacks, and plus its the SAME EXACT MELEE ATTACK!!! And the weapons are ridiculous they can't do jack i.e. say you are in a boss battle like ironhide vs. blackout in the decepticon campaign....the weapons don't work these guys have sheilds....you shoot at them and they manage to block and a blue or red sheild engulfs them. Those are basically some of the negatives....the positives are that at least every transformer has a unique transformation from vehicle to robot and viceversa, the sounds are ok...but not by much unless you are a great fan of hearing the same explosion sounds come from a car or building and the environments in this game are fragile....you touch, barely touch, a building and it starts falling apart i mean come on seriously???? P.S i know this is long but i hope it helpe4d some of you
this game is ok
i like this game more than the second transformers, but i think war 4 cybertron is better
Huge fan but i was dissiponted
Ok people if your not a transformer fan stop and go back this game well only let you down enless your going to play it for the very easy achivements. See I am a huge fan of transformers scince the 80's and I know what should be nessescery for the games. 1. there should be a multiplayer which the revange of the fallen game promises to give us. 2. there should be way more shooting then melee thats one thing that truely pissed me off because every time I shoot my enemy they would block it with a shield transformers dont have shields around them at all not evan back in the day. If you want a shooting transformers game I suggest the Armada version it kicked Butt but its a hard game to find cause alot of people did't buy it but its worth it Commander mode is more hard then the Halo's Lengendary diffuclty.3. This game should have way more charaters to play this is your list of playable charaters Prime, Bumbble bee, Ironhide, and very littlel do you play as jazz that pissed me off, Megatron, Starscream, Blackout, Scorpionox Very little do you play as him, and Barricade. List of non playable charaters that is in the game Ratchet only other Autobot, Shockwave Huge triple changer decipticon bigger then megatron, Bonecrusher, and Brawl/Devastator. 4. it was said every thing is destructive it wasn't I want to see buildings crumble. 5. the mission on cybertron was to short for both sides autobots and decipticons
the game is 0k but the movie is so much better. the thing i really dont like is that all the levels ur being timed. that kinda overthrows the fun part for me but it is decent
Amazing Film equals alright game
When I saw the movie Transformers, I knew I should ultimately buy the video game but it was not as long as I expected. Not saying the game completely stinks but I am saying it will not take months to beat. You could easily get through the game if you just play all day. The game lets you choose if you want to be the hero Autobots or the destructive Decipticons. That is pretty cool but the really bad thing is that not all the movie transformers are in the game. You can't play as Ratchet, Frenzy(soundwave), Bonecrusher, or Devasator(Brawl). So I got pretty upset because Brawl and Bonecrusher are two of my favorites from the movie. Plus it almost seems if you are an autobot, the Deciptcons will be much stronger in combat and vice versa with the Decipticons. So no matter what robot team you are, it seems you will be always be weaker then the opposite. The Graphics of the game make it like you are watching the movie. Their are amazing. The transformations are super cool. One of the best parts of the game is blowing up everything. EVERYTHING is destructable. So if you aren't doing a mission, you can go around the city blowing up everything and cause mass mayhem in the town. Speaking of a mission, this a notable low part of the game. There are reptitive. Most of them are the same things. All in All, I don't hate it but I certainly don't love love it.
I think it good for casual gamers
The game sound effects and the portion of the game where a person gets to destroy a city.
This game sucks, and It's a waste of cash.
When I first played this game, I thought it was going to be a good game. But after the first hour, the quality seemed to lack, mostly due to overused combo moves, and poorly animated cut scenes, not to mention the stupid boss battles every 20 seconds, which make you stay in a battle zone, and you get massacred by their little midget sized drones, which slowly deplete your health, equally as much as the annoying cops. I keep getting killed by Ironhide because I keep trying to attack him by helicopter. Bad idea. He shoots you out of the sky, and makes you crash land into a building. Overall, this game is great for the first few seconds, but after an hour, you should go play some MW3.
