Tell Tale does it again with this game series. It has a compelling story and keeps you hooked with its different take on classic fairytales and fables (based on the graphic novel Fables).

Rated 10 out of 10 by ScarletteDonahue Phenomenal Story, Great Gameplay
This game captures you with the very first episode; sort of a grittier, more comic book-like version (which is perfect, as it is adapted from a comic book) of Once Upon A Time with deadly, bloody consequences. The gameplay is superb, but the story is better. As a lover of fairy tales and scary stories, this game was perfect for me. Those who prefer FPSs or games where there is more action and less talking, this game may not be for you, but if you love a good story, a mystery, and some great action sequences sprinkled throughout a game in which you choose the morality of your characters, this cannot be beat.

Rated 1 out of 10 by A0concerned0gamer A broken release of a game that I was dying for.
Do not buy this game right now, you may be asking why I gave this 1's across the board even though I said I was dying for this game. That is because as of right n ow, 11/19/2014. My copy and replacement copy of this game for my 360 are marred with HORRENDOUS slowdown, loadtimes and lag issues.
Once I got to the 'press start' screen, after around 30 seconds of waiting for that simple screen to load, I was treated to 5 minutes of a black screen while the main menu loaded, 5 minutes, for the MAIN MENU.
Then I was treated to slow down and animation lag on the Main Menu,, yes, Lag, on the main menu. I got into the game after 9 minutes of waiting. I played the first scene then upon going upstairs ingame, I had to wait 10, 10 minutes between scenes to load.
So. I had just spent 24 and a half minutes versus around two minutes of ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME.
I tried it on another console and had the same issues so I got a replacement disc which again, had issues on BOTH consoles. So unless I got two bad games in a row, this is an issue with the game itself which requires a patch.
And if you're wondering why I didn't just install it to improve speed. It doesn't support that or I would have immediately. It is a sad day when I have to say the downloaded version of this game runs better than the on disc copy.
I can't speak for the Xbox One version of this, nor the PS3 or PS4 versions, so I will give the bottom line for the xbox 360 version.
Bottom Line: Do not buy this game at this time, it is broken. Wait for a patch so you can actually enjoy your game when you purchase it.
