This is a good 3d platformer/light puzzler. The gameplay if fun, though mashing X in a fight gets old quickly. Character's abilities are interesting and fun to use, for the most part. Bart's abilities are somewhat boring, and Marge's adds a kind of awkward RTS type of gameplay that can be frustrating. The formula for this game, however, is somewhat tired, and it's hard to get really into it. There's a central hubworld (Springfield) from which you access each mission. The missions are mostly linear, but require a small bit of critical thinking when puzzle elements come into play. There's plenty of humor in the game, but the dialog from the characters, which the game claims is "original" is taken mostly from episodes of the show, and repeats a bit too often. the animation is good for the most part, but occasionally the cel-shading reveals geometry errors or strange pieces of the character model. This game just isn't as good as I remember the GTA-like game on the previous generation of systems being.

I personally love this game despite it having a sort of short story line and that Springfield (the Simpsons town) is a bit small. I am very impressed by the great graphics looking very much like the show, I like the special abilities that each character has which makes the gameplay really fun until you reach the end of the story. When you are at the end you can still do collectibles and play with your friend in co-op mode but that will get boring. (you can also play the story with someone else in co-op mode) In the end this is a good game and you should get it especially if you are a Simpsons fan.

this game has potential, but it could b ruined easily i'm not sure if this is based on the movie, but if it is they gotta b careful, that is a disaster waitin 2 happen ! if they run out of idea's they'r probably jist gonna make it so the player has to jist play through the movie, wich wud sukkkk ! the title doesn't make its sound like it's gonna b a driving game like the past games, but that would b cool if they incorperated the driving aspect, i absolutely LOVED how u could steal cars in hit and run, but even a little more freedum wud b nice, and last of all the other games had multiple levels, different parts of springfield e.g. downtown springfield, entertainment district, evergreen terace area, powerplant, isn't that cool !, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO ! skate is doing it, oblivion is doing it, wut is it, ONE LEVEL they NEED to make this game with one enormous level

I really liked the Simpson's game and i had pretty high expectations. It has 16 fun levels where you can play as homer, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Usually u play as 2 characters at once but the first level is only with homer. The Bite Nights are also really fun with homer but i don't much care for the wings thing with Bart. The levels can be challenging when u get stuck but if u use cheats it will ruin it. I beat the game without cheats and it didn't take me too long. You'll catch on very quickly and its a great game but it could use more multiplayer parts. i recommend this game to all ages basically and this game is also good for other systems such as Wii, PS2 and any other station this game is eligible for. Buy this game its also got a great price on it.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Triforce1 The Simpsons Greatest Adventure!!
This game by far surpassed my expectations. Since I am a simpsons fan I decided to get the game thinking it was going to be an okay game but it turned out to be a great game! In this game you can play as one of four characters;Marge, Homer, Lisa, and Bart. Every character has special powers and can get costumes for the characters. These characters with the neat additions really keep you interested in the game but by far my favorite thing was the movies you earn while playing the game. Overall I would say that this game is a terrific game and I would recommend it to everyone who loves the simpsons or anyone else.

The Simspons Video Game for the Xbox 360 is a great game. The storyline of the game is great. Bart tries to by a GTA like game: "Grand Theft Scratchy." However, Marge does not approve and takes the game away. Bart soons finds a copy of the Simpsons Video Game manual and learns that each one of the Simpsons has a special power. Marge can start an angry mob, Homer can become a giant ball, Lisa can summon Buddha, and Bart becomes Bartman. The game has some flaws, butthey are easily overlooked. The controls are hard to master at first, but they ar rather simple. The camera is also hard to get used to, but doesn't impact the game too much. The animation is rather good, you can actually believe that you are in Springfield. The interface is good, but trying to decipher your buddy's health is hard to read at times, especially during boss battles. Another flaw is that the game is rather short, but you can go back at any time and do the time trials. The sound of the game is good, and the comedy is hilarious! And as I said at the beginning of the review, the storyline is great! If you are looking for a great game that will make you crack up, this game is for you. Also, the parodies in the game are beyond funny. They make fun of Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong, and even the Sims. The bottom line is that this game is a must buy. Now get out there and get this game!!!

i've played every simpsons game and they are all great, especially hit and run. i saw the preview and screenshots, and even the creators interviews and this game looks stupid, ill still probaly try it tho. the game doesn't look to great because the simpsons shouldn't find out hat there in a video game, thats just dumb, and on top of that they get like special powers. and the graphics aren't that great from what i've seen they look like something that they just whipped up in a hurry, and same with the backrounds and scenery, it all look really bad, for 2 YEARS of work.
Rated 9 out of 10 by fatfrankfurter cool, like the show!!!
the first thing that i realized when i played this game was that it was almost eczactley like the show!!!! they all said stuff that the characters would say in the the show. they acted like they would in the show. it makes the game all the more fun!!!! the game is fun faced paced and creative. it can get real tricky and turn into a kind of puzzle game like the lego game series. but in order to have fun with the game u have to persever. thanks for reading!!!!! :D

According to Game Informer and E3, this game will not be related to the movie. Instead it will draw on its own several years of history and storylines. The movie was not fundamentally different than the cartoon series. What would be the point of basing this game only on the movie when they have so much material from such a longstanding show? This should be a fun game that will extend fan's Simpsons experience.

I remember playing this game about three years ago, it was amazing then and is still amazing now. It brought together the hilarious part of the simpsons along with a new era of them as well.
