This game is perfect. I always thought this game was only for the PSP. I am glad is not only for that system. This game has the flawless gameplay that any fighting game shood have.
Rated 7 out of 10 by ActionGamer97 Not that good
I really liked the game for its offline two player mode. When you go online there aren't many people online and theres a lot of lag. The story mode is awful. Plus there are secret achievements that I don't understand. It's somewhat challenging but what made me hate it was when I picked up a weapon. It ruins the game. Guns are for shooters. Arcade modes are fun to play and the game has a feature where you can buy stuff for your characters and put them on. You can unlock some in story mode or with battle money buy them. The sounds really good. I would recommend buying this to people with family or roommates to play with them offline because that is the only good part of the game. If your looking for a game with a good storyline thats fun to play. Look elsewhere. The controls are complicated at first but its a fighting game. There made that way for more moves. Somewhat of a good game but could've easily been better. Tekken 7 hopefully will be much better at basic game play and story.

Tekken 6 is one of the best installments in the Tekken series. The graphics are better than those in Tekken 5, which shines in HD. The controls are responsive, with little to no lag time in inputted commands. Characters liek Jin Kazama and Bryan Fury are back in their usual flair, bringing a whole set of personalites to the series. The downsides to the game are the lackluster storyline in Scenario Campaign, which could have be better if the people who worked on Urban Reign handled the story mode. While there are unlockables in the game, they are only the kind players would expect (endings, alternate costumes, etc). There is no attempt to bring some fresh new kind of hidden content in the game. The option to customize your favorite characters is very nice, as I enjoyed customizing characters such as Asuka Kazama to look like Jun Kazama of Tekken 2 and Tekken Tag fame. Overall, no fighting game fan should be without Tekken 6 in their collection. To leave Tekken 6 out of your gaming collection would be a real shame.
Rated 8 out of 10 by JimmyGeeisFaGangsta A Great Follow Up To An Iconic Series
Tekken has always been a standout fighter in my opinion, any fighting game fan would love this game without a doubt. The expansive 40 character roster is more than enough to keep any player constantly learning new tricks to crush the competition. The gameplay and move lists fit each character's personality and each fighter brings something new to the roster. On the other hand the customization mode is bland and outfits are non transferable (say you think Jin has a costume that Hwoarang would look good in as well, to bad only Jin can have it), the story mode is also very vague and in the end its just mindless fighting amid unexplainable chaos. The Scenario mode can get a little repetitive and the unlockables are just costume parts, Button mashers will fare well against an experienced players but button mashing can be overcome thru strategy. Hardcore fighters and casual gamers alike will not be disappointed Tekken 6 is just an all around good time.

I was 5 when the very first Tekken was released, my older brother got a ps1 when I was 5. We got 2 games with our Ps1 for christmas. Crash Bandicoot 2 and Tekken 1. I loved playing as King as a young child and smashing the X and Square buttons like crazy over this game. Through the years every x-mas I picked up the next game in the series. When I hit the 5th grade Tekken made what seemed to be its last installment in the series known as Tekken 5. This game blew my mind. But I wait and waited for the next game. Then now 5 years later Im a Sophmore in high school and here the game comes I reserved this game as soon as it was announced. I am a big fan of Tekken every since i was a child and I can stop playing tekken for a year and then play it again remembering the controls since the game is so easy to get used to. If you are deciding upon buying this or street fighter, this game will give you so much more, graphics have always been phenomenal and the game has a rich reward system. Highly Recommend for New comers or Fans of the series.

Ok, this is by far the best Tekken of the series. It has amazing graphics, sweet characters, and will keep you playing for hours. For those who put that the game has a poor challenge, you need to put the game on ultra hard and put it on 5 round matches, then write how the challenge is. I am an excellent player, and was stuck for hours trying to beat it. The biggest downfall that I have seen with the game is the controls. Since I use the dpad I find that because of the bulkiness of the control, my character has a tendency to jump or duck when I don't want them to, and it will also interfere with some of the moves that I try to do. The online system is also very good, especially with the latest update that came out recently which allows you to accept or decline the challenge acording to the connection level to your challenger. Only thing that I haven't seen yet that I definitely would like to see would be some additional background stages to play on. Especially some of the older classic stages. Hon Maru, The Crater, Moonlit Wilderness, etc...

This game is one of the best video games i have ever played in my life!!!The Graphics are so beautiful with all of the envirements being able to be destroyed. The challenge is pretty easy unless you get online then you will never know whats going to happen! The character ballance is pretty good but some characters are aweful (kangaroo, nina and bear) but other than that the character ballance is flawless!!!With every character being powerful in its own way such as bob is very agile,Marduk is very powerful, and Steve is superb at countering and stringing together combos. The Gameplay feels like tekken very fast paced and fun and easy to pick up and play but hard to master. Now what this game lacks is an interesting story and unlockables. Now the unlockables all you can unlock is more costumes to buy!Now that is awful. And the scenario mode campaign has terrible gameplay and a story line that bores me.Other than that this game is a very nice addition to the tekken series and a must buy for anyone who is interested in fighting games.A sure contender for fighting game of the year and a 10 out of 10.

I misy say that Tekken 6 was well worth the wait. The amazing graphics are immediately on display with the opening movie. From the clouds in the sky down to the feathers on a crow, it is eye candy that even I could not skip through to get to the fighting. The "fighter in the background" menu style is definitely a plus to what is usually just words on a background and can be customized to your liking which can keep things fresh. As much as I like the menu style, I can easily see someone having a "where do I click " moment as you have to decide between "scenario" or "offline" modes , which up front seems awkward being that scenario mode is offline. Scenario mode takes us through an interesting and complex storyline which allow you to fight through enemies to a boss character on each stage. This mode is definitely an improvement over the previous "Tekken Force" adventures although I wish there was an auto focus after an enemy attacks me, but no game is perfect. As always, the fighting mechanics are superb, even though I'm already kicking myself for not purchasing the arcade stick. All around this game exceeds expectations and is a MUST BUY!

This game is a total waste of money and a very big dissappointment . The game is not even fun to play. The controls are hard, and you spend so much time looking at the combo list that you don't get to enjoy the game. THe storyline was horrible, and so was scenario campaign. Please I did this to help you. Do not buy this game invest your money in something else. The game has good graphics, but they could've been better. They are not as smooth and perfect as they are in the trailer. From what I've hearrd the game is pretty much the same as Tekken 5. I would only reccommend this game to die hard Tekken fans. Everything is also unlocked from the beginning, so what's the point in even playing it? Why do game companies make games that they know suck? Please I'm trying to be nice and help you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME.

wow, what can i say this game is simply amazing even though the scenario campaign is kind of boring but that is not where tekken 6 shines pretty much if you wanna beat up people from all over the world then you have the online portion as well as plenty of customization items for you character. i love the new moves that comes equipped with the old characters and as well you also have six new characters that will join the roster so selecting your favorite character might be a bit difficult if you wanna try to learn one of the new characters alot of people complain about the lag online but namco put out a patch which kind of helped the situation a little bit so it's not that bad anyone that is a fan of the series or just looking for a good solid fighting game with lots of surprises then tekken 6 is the game for you.
