Don't be surprised when this happens at the end of the year. Eventhough the first fighting game in histroy was hevayweight championship, this is the first fighting game to introduce special moves! This game is the reason why the genre exisits!!!!! This is the reason why Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Tekken, and etc of all fighting games exisit!! So here it is........ I CANT WAIT TIL THIS GAME COMES OUT!!! First I'm gonna play as Juri then I will play as Dee-jay and T.Hawk because it is good to have them back at the fray! Oh, and all the other new fighters too!!! This game is the reason why I have a favorite female fighter for the first time!(JURI)!!! This is bacially the only game I am focused on out of all the other games combined!!! So here it is, the fighting game of the year in 2010 goes to.................... SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV!!!!!!! I've been playing this game since I was 4 yrs old and now it's better. This game is the total reason why I bought my XBox and this game is the biggest steal in 2010 or maybe this decade. For only $** you get your money worth. More characters and moves with different storylines. Graphics are completely unique and eye-catching. I was rough of the controls for this game in fact of anybody who has a rookie experience with this game. It will take time to learn the attacks but it's not very hard. Me in a personal experience, I have trouble with front to back characters like Vega, Dee Jay, Balrog. But its not that bad. I only think they could've included more characters than now. This game is too great for just a double handfull. I really would like to see fighters from the Alpha series on PS1. Crackerjack, Evil Ryu, Doctrine Dark. But overall this is a must have if you ever want a true fighting game. Street Fighter won't steer you wrong.

Back in the day I used to play Street Fighter on the Genesis and SNES. When I got my 360 this past summer this was one of the first games I picked up. I knew it would be great for the fact every Street Fighter game before it I have played has been good to great and this one is no different. A lot of characters are crammed into this game so I could easily see someone spending a ton of time mastering each character or at the very least their favorite characters. There is small story scenes at the beginning and end of the Arcade mode for every character so this gives you incentive to at least try every character in the game at least once. I am not much for playing online with fighting games as I am fairly mediocre at them in the first place. If your new to Street Fighter or fighting games in general this game is pretty accessible. If you have been playing Street Fighter or similar fighting games for years you might want to turn the difficulty up a notch against the computer AI. Overall I could ramble on all day and night how great this game is.
Rated 6 out of 10 by a different name this looks cool...ehh feels sorta stiff -_-
okay lets start with the obvious the game has a great advantage over other fighting game cause the graphics are beautiful.the sound makes it for an intense game great fighting music.it also has all the classic characters you can ask for.the game may sound promising but unfortunatly the game play is really stiff.the thing i hate about this game is that combos suck in this game.which really takes away from this game that could be so much more.if you compare this game to other fighting games like blazblue you'll find a huge difference.but i guess you really cant blame them capcom went for keeping itself classic so hats off to you.all in all though dont expect too much from this fighting game other then a sock full of hadukens, uppercuts and grappling here and there.the games not as expensive so its not such a downer.its also really easy to pick up and play.you get into it fast which makes up for the lack of fighting elements the game carries its real simple and the ultra specials really put on a show to sum things up the game looks great but the fighting doesnt go further then 2 punches and a haduken

Super Street fighter 4 has 35 characters in total. New Characters added to roster ibuki, Makoto, Dudley, Juri, Deejay, Cody, Guy, Hakan, T.Hawk and Adon. The Choice is now given too choose between 2 ultra combos. The games seem to load fast than the previous street fighter four, but the game seem slightly slower. Some of the new ultra combos could have been better. Like Akuma's. He does a spin kick that kicks you into the screen and leaves his symbol afterward. Guile's new ultra is cool because he now as the sonic boom super used in marvel vs capcom 2. Ryu now has the uppercut ultra. Sagat was given a Tiger Cannon fireball ultra. Could have been better. Blanka's new ultra can be used in two ways. One for the ground and one for opponents that are jumping in. I haven't had time too play the game much. Just a quick run. If you didn't purchase the last one. This is something that you need 2 pick up. If you have the last street fighter 4 and you would like 2 get this one for the new roster than by all means pick the game up. I suggest you rent it first when it is released or play at a friends house first.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Fish Excellent Addition to the Series!
Super Street Fighter 4 is just a great fighting game. You have a tremendous amount of unique characters, game modes, costumes, colors and stages to choose from. And it's all good.
SSF4 feels really updated from the last few additions to the series while still keeping the general fighting control the same. It's actually kind of impressive. Capcom has managed to improve upon the game and have it retain that lovable familiarity. When you start to get a feel for how some of the characters control, you'll surely be playing this for weeks to come.
Some things I didn't like include the graphics. I REALLY wished they would have kept the 2D, hand drawn, anime style of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix; but alas, we have this smudgy looking 2.5 D mess. Also online battles are going to be tough for beginners. the online community is really, really good at this game!

Okay Street Fighter Fans of Planet Earth (Everyone), We all agree that we do not want any more add ons to Street Fighter IV after this EXTREMELY AWESOME title! After this amazing game, we would just like Capcom to "move on" to Street Fighter V please! Street Fighter V can show older versions of the street fighters from Street Fighter II (PLEASE DONT FORGET DEE JAY AND T.HAWK) , Street Fighter III ( PLEASE DONT FORGET ALEX AND YUN/YANG)- Adding everyone from those Franchises including EX and Alpha! The fighters that need to be added to this game is Everyone in Super Street Fighter IV, Eagle, Rolento, R. Mika, Sodom, Skullomania, Sean, Alex, Karin, Hokuto, Doctrine Dark, Oro, Yun/Yang, Urien, Karin, Makia, and Juni! Just please Capcom, try this. It may become a bigger hit than any other fighting game. They should also try downloadable fighters, create a fighter, have the ability to choose a stage in training mode, 8 new fighters, new members of shadowloo, a new evil organization, a new story line 5-10 years later. But until then, WE WILL ALL countdown the 29 days until SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV COMES OUT!!!!!!!!!:) THANKS CAPCOM AND EVERYONE!!!!!!!

As written in the title, I skipped over the orginal SFIV and was glad I did when I found out this game was coming out. This review is mostly for people who are trying this game for the first time and didn't purchase the original one. Overall an excellent game. LOTS of characters. I used to love this series when I was growing up. My only wish is that they should have brought some of the old levels from the original street fighter II into this one. I found that there seems to be quite a bit of overlap in character moves amongst the characters. The animations are great, the destructible background is a nice upgrade. Controls are smooth. Highly recommended as a fighting game for anyone whos a fan of the genre. Kudos to capcom for bringing in another great street fighter game.

For those who are reading this before buying the actual game i say its pretty good. Not great, but there has been some improvements. I wouldn't say that the characters are more in balance to each other but many changes have been done to "equalize" the selection. For vega players you will be kind of happy, he got faster and bit stronger ^_^ but so did everyone else so no difference there. The new characters just seem like they don't belong but thats because they are smaller size and weirdly placed in the game. Graphics are great but they could have done better, and the camera angle... just awkward. Everything else is great and the character selection is awesome. Even though it may sound awful its great to have if your a street fighter fan. Alpha fans are going to love this game. JAGUAR KICK!!

My dad had picked this up for me to try something different- big mistake. The characters are all cookie-cutter, and all you can change about their costume is the color. Some have power advantages over others, but all are just a 10 move button masher with no real technique. Another thing that annoys me is the 2D concept. You can basically corner your opponent and win or vice versa and take a beating. I've been used to the 3D concept and being able to move about but with this game it's just too much to ask for. The graphic quality isn't as rich as it should be. If you have a little 5 year old whom you would like to introduce the fighting genre to, I would recommend it. But for a hardcore gamer? Hardly a challenge- if even considered as one. Dead or Alive still remains as my favorite.
