by Halo3357 Amazing at first but ...
the game is amazing at first at least...then you beat the game....you beat it again on UNLEASHED ...then what ? .. my point is that theirs nothing to do once you beat it; challenges are boring ....they should of made something like firefight on this game

I liked the first game, but the follow up leaves nothing to be desired. Here are my dislikes: You can complete the game in 4 hours. No story line conclusion. Repeating levels, with no challenge. No save ability, other then "save points", which means if you want to stop you will have to wait until you finish a "level" or redo the "level". The level up feature is "score point" related, so if you want to really up your skills you will need to come up with new ways of kiling the same people again and again. The feel of the game was just walk a straight line and kill everything in the room, then repeat, then repeat, then repeat. You only have one choice in the game. "dark side or good side" and that happens at the end. The game is worth 19.95, the $59.95 is not a realistic vaule. In conclusion, bewarned that you will mostly be board and over changed. I am very close to saying bye bye to all Lucas based games. The name is lossing interest and credibility faster then I can hit the eject button.

Well it seems that the game follows the plot that Starkiller died in the first game. Because Vader is present in the opening, so you obviously didn't kill him. And they already made a bunch of DLC with you being the dark Starkiller. If this is just a clone created by Vader, then I can see a possible plot development of trying to find out about yourself. And they'll probably bring back Juno Eclipse as well to add that other sense of continued romance. It looks like Starkiller gets some new gear in this one. Two BLUE lightsabers which is interesting. And it looks like if you thought Rancors were hard in the first game, then your gonna get destroyed by whatever that other thing was in the trailer. Also, I really doubt it, but it might be cool if they did some thing like Mass Effect here. Choosing light and dark stuff to affect gameplay. (I know KOTOR has already been made) but it seems that Starkiller is struggling in the beginning of the trailer betwn good and evil. Gonna be a good game.

I was really excited to get into this game. I was hoping for a classic Star Wars RPG with a heavy emphasis on action and an engaging story line in between epic battles. This game falls short in every category.
First, you're railroaded into a linear storyline with no character or plot choices whatsoever. Your character progression/build out choices aren't fulfilling (they don't have much impact on gameplay). And then there's the gameplay. You bash hoards of baddies with your lightsabers, and when something big get's close to death, you go through an animated button sequence to finish them off. Each finisher is interesting the first time you do it, but it soon becomes a grueling chore to grind through your battles hoping the story is about to get good. And just when it starts to get interesting, the game ends. Expect *maybe* 20 hours of gameplay.
Think of this like a very, very short version of God of War, set in the Star Wars universe, and completely absent of any redeeming story elements.

Being the gamer that I am, I loved the first Force Unleashed, and thought it had a good ending. When I saw this game, I got excited. I played the demo and I liked it but it seemed like there was a lack of moves & techniques, but I didn't mind it. So luckily, I only wasted $17 on the game. I played it all excited and stuff. But then the ending snuck up after, what, like 2 missions? Are you kidding me? You make a sequel to a great game, and it ends up sucking? In the first game, there were techniques, an unforgettable story, and great gameplay. This game was the complete opposite. In fact, I wish I could forget the story. Then again, it's not like there even was one. The ending was so pointless. No, the GAME was just pointless. "I, the almighty Starkiller must come back from the dead, or be cloned, or whatever, to either die or imprison Darth Vader, which creates a huge "plot-hole" in the Star Wars series by the way." This game didn't even have a point. That's basically it. Just play the first one.
Rated 0 out of 10 by jason agens the force unleashed 2
through all the star wars games that are made by lucasarts George Lucas Star Wars the force unleashed is the best game so far but i can't wait until the second one comes out and all the adventures that come with it and i never seen a better star wars game yet than the force unleashed and my second favorite is going to be the second force unleashed. And also some other star wars games that are coming soon. And however the games that have star wars in them and i have the feeling that the force unleashed 2 is going to be the best one yet! And yet the force unleashed is my favorite star wars game ever! Lucasarts has done it again! And this website doesnt have alot of comments and i think most of the comments should be star wars games on this website. And i have a feeling that theres going to be more games on this game, on this website. And also i like that they make these star wars games really good. And thats why i like star wars video games in the world! I really do!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rated 10 out of 10 by bevelsalabama5 The Force Unleashed II is awesome Star Wars VGA!
I loved Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the great totally outstanding and I loved the plot and storyline set in the between of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope with the new characters, original characters from the first game and Yoda and Boba Fett featured in the game!
Rated 4 out of 10 by Dunkelheit Prettier than the first, but not better.
I sat down after a long day of work with the Force Unleashed II ready to bring some mad Force skills to the galaxy. A great deal of Force powers were already available for me and Holocron cubes seemed rather easy to find. All in all the game was being enjoyable while not totally stressing me out. Four and a half hours later the game was over. Needless to say I was very upset at a game that had a campaign shorter than a Halo game. I shelled out 80 bucks for the collector's edition with high-hopes. Needless to say those hopes were killed quicker than a jawa. The dissapointment associated with this game is enough to consider not even following the development of the obviously upcoming third installment. I would recommend to everyone to wait until this game is $20 or less before getting it. While it has nicer graphics and a rather smooth gameplay it really isn't worth the money. If there is any DLC to come out it had best be free or dirt cheap.

I absolutely love the first game and all of the DLC and no there hasn't already been a second title ( ultimate sith edition is simply that, a different EDITION with the DLC already added) hence the absence of a 2 in the title lol. The trailer looks amazing and I cant wait to see Yoda and Darth Vader once again. This obviously takes place after you choose to fight the emperor instead of Vader. I am looking forward to a new story and this set of characters is just as likable and familiar as the ones already in the franchise. I would love to see a force unleashed film as well. I have read also that the armor of stormtroopers will break away as you battle them which means even more destructible environments. I hope to see weapon customization as well as a multi-player duel mode like the Wii edition had. We need another Star Wars fighter it's long overdue lol. Anyway this game looks magnificent as I wouldn't expect anything less from Lucasarts.
Rated 7 out of 10 by thefist What were they doing in the 2 years of production?
Star Was the Force Unleashed 2 is a good game with many problems. This game was in production for 2 years, and you can beat the game in less than 5 hours. ITS THAT SHORT! But the game has some replay value. The story of the game is quite strange. First off, no sequel was necessary yet they made one any ways. The story is pretty linear with out any real plot twists. Also, the game takes place only in a total of four locations, yet those four locations are made into 10 short levels. But a plus for the game's story, is the ending. This game's ending definitely leads into a third game. I am actually excited to see how the next game's (?) will play out. The gameplay is improved over the original. Targeting has improved, your force powers are stronger, you have dual light sabers, and have new force powers like mind trick. But unfortunately, you fight the same enemies the entire game. Combat gets pretty tedious when you're constantly fighting the same enemies that all fight the same. Overall I think this is a game worth giving a chance, but rent it.
