Secret Service: Ultimate Sacrifice
This game is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Secret Service is one of those games that is not really heard of, unless someone gives a bad review.Let me just say that this game is incredible! The game has many challenges, such as using your night vision goggles to see bombs. The game has very easy controls, but the leaning is hard to get used to. The animation is great. It fells like you are actually shooting at terroists that are taking over the Lincoln Memorial. The interface is easy to follow. You have no health bar, but you can tell what direction you are getting shot at. The game is long, and keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire game. You know someone working with America is a double agent. The game has great sound, such as the explosions, rockets flying past your ear. The game has a long and great storyline that I won't spoil for you. If you want to a game that is close to COD, but not as graphic, this game is that parents will approve, guranteed. My advice, keep on rocking and get this game!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just A Bad game
The tutorial at the beginning is really bad, I got this game hoping for it to be good, and it was worse then the games you can get for $3. I'm going to turn it back in and get other games for a better price.
Not Bad At All
Secret Service was made by Cauldron whose previous work on 360 includes SOF: Payback, HC: Civil War, and HC: Battle for the Pacific. While those titles were far from great they also weren't too bad. Secret Service would definitely be their best "Activision Value" title yet. Storyline wise its just about you, a secret service agent named Pierce, who has to protect the president at all costs and get him to safety. The levels are pretty well made and have good variety. Graphics from the character modes to the levels and details are decent (nothing thats pushing the 360), but what's here is cool. Sound effects and voice acting are actually pretty good (the enemies repeat the same few lines a little too much though), and the controls are incredibly easy to learn. I gotta give credit to Cauldron with the achievement list in this game. There not just your basic FPS run of the mill. Quick examples would be passing a level without zooming, get 30 kills in a level with just your pistol, complete a level without crouching, complete the game without night vision, etc. They are nicely varied and feel kind of different from predictable FPS achievements. Secret Service isn't a bad buy if your done with every other game you own and are craving for a decent FPS. You can certainly do much worse.
Sleeper hit of the year
For anyone who sees this game, no it's not a joke; I decided to give this game a shot simply because i knew it was going to be bad. I was very.. very wrong; this game is great, it's a bit slow to start off with but it plays just like CoD4 and even carries the same feel as the beloved call of duty games. You're no super soldier or some strange plot design, it's very simple but well done. The achievements are interesting and fun to complete, the enemies use cover and peak out from corners to get better shots while still keeping that crazy terrorist persona with assorted yells and political slander. When you're not killing things you get to watch a great story line play out even though they skimped on the graphics on character models, I seriously doubt you'll notice, the game is fun; it's a cheap one, and despite all expectations of failure, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Not what iexpected
When I bought this game I was expexting some cheap mediocre game. I was very wrong. This is a great game. I have no i dea why it's on the list of worst games for 2008. This game has a great story line with some great guns. The graphics are pretty good. The detail in the scenery is also great. The only bad part about the game is that the terrorist repeat lines often but otherwise the game is absolutly great. I also did not expect how many historic landmarks they put in there. I like US history and I was very impressed about how many memorials and historic buildings they put in there. They also include Air Force 1 and Marine 1. It plays alot like Call of Duty 4 but you are not a soilder. I also liked how diffirent each level is. In each level the objectives are comepletely diffirent than the other levels. Like I said before, this is one the best games i've ever played.
I just didn't like this game. Even though it says blood on the ESRB rating, I never saw any. I think that takes away from the realness and the graphics. The storyline isn't as good as i thought it would be. I love crime type games but this one sucked. I'm actually selling it because i hated it that much.
I liked it
I am new to the first person shooter games. I noticed some of the hardcore gamers didn't really like it, but for me it was good. Took a little time to get comfortable with the controls, but once you got that it was fun. Couldn't wait for the kids to go to bed at night so I could play.
This game is bad. Yet the graphics are probably the best the gaming world might ever see! Its really good but everything else is bad. Stupid minigames to stop bombs. Same dialogue. It isn't fun. This gets a 4 out of 10. Bad gameplay but KILLER graphics.
