This game is a crazy trip into the Saw world. I feel like i'm actually going to die if I don't figure out the traps. Saw puts you right smack dab in the midle of a erie warehouse, where you have no idea what will happen next. From shotgun doors to exploding cabinets this game is a test of nerves. This is a decent length game and you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. The only problem is that I don't forsee a lot of replay value. Once you have figured out all the traps and puzzles your pretty much done. So this will definetly be a return after you have completed the story. The combat is sort of hit and miss and can be frustrating at times. The sound is a key feature of this title. You here all the noises, creeks, and screams as you cautiously enter rooms waiting to be put in a death game. Overall this is a must play, especially for fans of the movies or if you just like sick stuff. also for all you XBOXER's, this game gives away achievments like there candy!

You are detective Tapp in Jigsaw's madhouse insane asylum. you are stuck here for your obsession with catching Jigsaw and must save the lives of others who's lives you destroyed and the ones who destroyed your life. this game is a fun and enjoyable thrill ride that is best played in the dark alone or with a friend it is also an easy 1000 gamerscore. the graphics and great but limited. cause sometimes people get cut i half and their bodies are still whole. the length is short but made up because you will die.....a lot! put again the checkpoints are numerous so when you die you wont be far behind. however the combat system sucks and your fists is the best weapon next to the revolver. the story is deep like the movies but you need to take the time to read all the files around the asylum. the controls are a little sketchy but passable the sound is great and the characters are from the movies. the games a rent do not buy it!

When I first purchased Saw: The Video Game, a sickening thought came to m mind. This would be a Movie game remake of Manhunt, and instantly I became regretful of my purchase, but to my relief, it was nothing of the sort. Saw: The Videogame truly follows in the footsteps of its big brother movies. As a self claimed Saw Guru, the challenges and puzzles were not as difficult as I everyone else had claimed. I as worried I would get bored and get stuck in the first challenge for hours, but it was quite the opposite it only took minuets. I encourage all Saw Fans to play his game and to think like Jigsaw. As for all Newbies the Cult Horror, The game will be a little more difficult. This is a game built on detective work, and not so much you going around hacking and slashing, but don't think you wont get to see the blood and gore from the film. As Jigsaw said himself "Oh yes, there will be blood."

There are very few things to say about this game except that it is no good in most ways because it is just a bunch of recycled items and enemies the whole game.Lets start with the sound it is very poor in many ways for you cant really here enemies that well so you dont know when your going to be attacked or not and more importantly the music warnings dont warn you fo anything at all most of the times. The length stinks for it took me 3 hours to beat this game so it is very short. The storyline makes no sense for new characters are poping up all the times and the game dosent even tell you how they are so it deserves a four. The grapics arent any good for the only thing that dosent look fuzzy is the backround otherwise the grapics arent to good so they get a five. The challenge is easy and boring enemies die in one hit and are mindless the whole game so it gets a one.The inter face is bad so it gets a two.The controls are very bad for if you go to pick somthing up you end up using a bullet on accident so they get a three. This game as you can see is very bad so for all you gamers out there Irecommend you dont get this game.

I ask myself why make a saw game after the movie prices are going down this is just sending it down more. This is how i rated it. The challenge all right i mean the puzzles get confusing, but it will challenge some. The graphics i mean did the creaters of the nitendo 64 help with this. The length was pretty long but i wish it would of been shorter. The storyline i mean common you could at least came up with a better storyline than they have. The controls horrible its like playing with 2 broken joy sticks. Interface alright i mean it wasnt bad but not the best. Sound out of the crappy game itself the sound was actully fantastic. I think they spent more time on the sound then they did the entire game. I gave this game a 3 out of 10. I strongly agree that no one i mean anyone should buy this game it is horrible.
Rated 0 out of 10 by JIG SAW 098 Not your average Movie based game
If you hate games based on movies then hold off for a second and look into saw the video game because this game shine's above the rest. First of all they got the real Tobin Bell (the voice and actor of Jig Saw in the movies) to play Jhon Kramer him self. Second they Have the writer from the first and second movies to write the story line for the game (so you know the story and twists will be epic) Fans of the Silent Hill Series will most likely enjoy this game because of the same style of the game is very close to one another. There is also the online Co-op and multiyplayer that will keep players (Saw fans & Horror Fans alike ) playing this game. Over all the game will be a must buy for people who enjoy games like BioShock, Silent Hill, and any other horror based video games.

This was the first horror game that I played and it was an enjoyable experience. The combat should be fixed, the puzzles were authentic to the SAW franchise, the audio tape and television messages were very SAW-like and you have to make choices like the movie victims do. I used to be really afraid of the SAW franchise because of its brutality and gore but playing this game helped me face my fears and made me a bit braver. If there are young children in the house I don't think that you should expose their eyes to this but I think any person who enjoys SAW should either buy or rent this game. There should be a sequel where you could create your own character and survive the tests that jigsaw leaves for you. A thumbs up for Konami for making this game.

I have liked all the saw movies but maybe one, and with any series of movies, games its always hard to match the first if its good, or second third or fourth depending on how well any of them go. But for people to just jump on the SaW hate or Horror hate is wrong, everyone has there own likes and dislikes, and the concept behind SAW was great, regardless of what this game looks like in the critics eyes, this game will be great, im looking forward to playing it out, anyone thinking a gamer is going to be scared of a game needs to re evaluate things 2, its entertainment and the fun factor. I hope this game does well for the saw franchise, ill get it, play it and keep it in my collection.

this game has so much potential to be great or be an epic fail and total waste of money i want this game to be good i really do but as long as its like the first two saw movies it should be fine cause everything after that was trash i like puzzles n gore so this should be right up my alley i just wish they would of added a multiplayer like make your own traps n what not put them on a list and let people play them with up to four players that would be cool oh and rate each map dont wanna play trash :) but thats not what this is this is singleplayer only so if its good maybe we get a second one with that element heres to high hopes
Rated 10 out of 10 by McKechnie one amazing game for SAW fans
I absolutely loved the SAW movies. I was at the movie premier of SAW 3D (6) as Billy (picture attached) so you can tell I'm a fan. lol. but I love the Saw series because they actually have lessons learned in them & are quite amazing. if you've ever wondered what it would be like if you were in their shoes, here's your chance. this game takes you into the horor of Jigsaw's twisted mind. think fast & play his game or you won't live to tell about it. this game even splits to to ends so you can play the game twice & have two different outcomes.
