Rock Band: AC/DC Track Pack
I am a big ACDC fan, but I was a little bit confused when I realized their were only 18 songs in this game. Then I figured out they were all from the same concert, which is cool. All the songs on this game are live and there are no studio recordings, but this is just Harmonix' way of giving you more of the feel of fame. The songs all have totally hardcore guitar solos - if you can get 100% on the live version of "Let There Be Rock" then congrats, you have earned the title of Supreme Overlord Of Rock! The best thing about this game is that you can download all the songs onto your Hard Drive for use in RB1 and RB2. This is totally worth the price whether you like ACDC or not!
The game for a rock fan
I am a huge AC/DC fan. I like this game alot. It has great song selection, and all the songs are just like they were played at Donnington. It even has the solo in the beginning of highway to hell(played at donnington). It is also a challenge moving from easy to normal, normal to hard, ect. Overall, it is a very good game. The only bad thing is that all the songs are all played at the same time. I personally prefer the studio recording version. For example, Hells Bells sounds better in the original version. But that is probably just me. Besides, FOr songs that were written after others,it would sound sort of weird. But it is still a very good game. Even if Brian Johnson may not sound as good in some of the songs, it is still good. So if you see it on the shelves, get it!
I have the AC/DC songs and I have to say most of the classics are covered here. Keep in mind though, these songs come from a live album release and they are not the original studio versions of the song. Nonetheless, the songs still rock and some of the guitar solos are truly insane (like Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap). If you like AC/DC you probably either own it or will get it no matter what. But even if you're not familiar with the band, it's definitely a keeper, especially at the low price!
hey, i am a big AC/DC fan so i got the game and its like the rest of rockband games but still good.
