I really enjoy Rock Band 3, creating a character to creating a band, its a great experience then ever before. The songs on the game are wonderful and has a huge repeat play value and it has a great selection of different genres to Free Bird to Amy Whinehouse even! lol. the game is just great if your a Rock Band fan and of course for the DLC, and not forgetting the Pro Modes, they are crazy and just pure awesome that makes you feel like your really just shredding guitar and being all Jimi Hendrix and such or being a true Neil Peart guy on the drums, OR! get to play keys!!! thats right play bohemian rhapsody by Queen on keyboard, think you got it in you? Rock Band 3 introduces a wireless keyboard controller, seriously Go out and buy it today!!!!!!!!!! :] so you can just rock with friends and of course and maybe family lol ....enough said.

First off, HUGE rock band fan. I have been waiting for them to make real guitars for this game and introduce a pro mode since they started with rock band 1. The problem is, that they release a game, and then they don't release half the game that goes with it. There is no rock band 3 bundle, there are no pro mode guitars yet. Oh but the content for pro mode is available, you just cant use it yet. I am sorry, but this is unacceptable. You do not release a game if the game itself is not ready. I dropped the money for the pre order on the 150 dollar guitar, which happens to be a month and a half release date from the games release? Why? I am sorely disappointed. The game itself is awesome aside from the set list. Which is about 70% garbage music, but its the set list, that was to be expected. Overall there were a lot more changes to the game that make it look cleaner and smoother and the game play is great, but releasing a game without half the game is a little pointless if you ask me.
Rated 10 out of 10 by panthersfan1997 The Best RB/GH game yet!!!!!!!!
When I first got this game I expected it to blow my mind and that's exactly what it did..the graphics for this game were so so but the amount of good songs on there were unbelievable...And the addition of pro instruments along with the regular instruments is great...if you want to learn how to play the guitar or piano/keyboard or Drums get this game it is alot easier to learn because it's fun to practice...you can play along to songs which makes it alot more entertaining and enjoyable while you practice..instead of sitting in your room and being bored this game will have you coming back for more. And if you buy the real guitar for the game it will work on it and also if you plug it into an amp...one thing I didn't like is the fact if you try to move the strings when you hit a note and try to give it a whammy sound to it, it will penalize you on your score because you end up touching other strings when you do that and it thinks you actually missed the note...other then that very annoying thing this game is a win and everybody should buy it whether you're really into this kind of stuff or not

I've played Rock Band 2 almost every single day after the day I got it. In my opinion, this setlist is absolutely phenomenal. Most of Guitar Hero's songs are absolute trash. "2112 Parts 1 - 7" by Rush? Really? That's a poor excuse to add 7 "songs" to their setlist. Guitar Hero's setlist reminds me of when I tried to do things last minute back in high school and ended up with a "C." It seems like they came up with that setlist 2 days before the game came out! As far as DLC, Rock Band absolutely demolishes Guitar Hero. Not only that, but Rock Band now has the Pro Guitar and the keyboard! Guitar Hero, ain't got nothin' on Rock Band! Rock Band comes up with a ton of new challenges, new instruments (including the "pro" instruments), better graphics, a fantastic setlist, better character customization, and MORE. What does Guitar Hero come up with? A new title to the same game. Oh, right, I forgot they added the new feature where you can turn into a monster for more points..Ladies and gentlemen at Harmonix, I congratulate you on this absolutely fantastic game you've created. You've definitely got my pre-order, that's for sure.

When I first got this game last December, I was hooked. This is the first rock band/guitar hero game I had for the Xbox (others I have on wii) and was amazed by the interesting and relaistic graphics. However, this is not the best music game out there. Pros: Good graphics, some classic songs that have never been on other music games, music store has many great selections, and many can play at a time. Cons: This game has about ten-fifteen good songs, but the others are terrible. In the newer music games, like this one, you do not need to unlock most of the songs through career, they are already there, which I do not like. Also, I felt that this soundtrack attracted people that listen to newer rock than the older Boston, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd type of rock. Out of all of these games, I suggest Guitar Hero 5

Honestly, the setlist is terrible. Buying Rock Band 2 and buying all the DLC is a better deal than this. I love Rock Band Games, do not get me wrong, but this game is not going to be the best. The Guitar Pro and Drum Pro stuff will be pretty sweet, but that is about it. I went through the setlist and almost played at least a quarter of the songs. Really? Beast and the Harlot? Free Bird? These songs have been on at least 2 games in the past Guitar Hero games. It will be fun to play these on drums and sing them. But I am pretty sure you could do that on Guitar Hero Smash Hits. This game won't be terrible, but it won't be the best. It is a year of not getting Rock Band for me. But don't let me stop others from getting this game, I am sure it will be a blast :) Hope I helped out :)
Rated 9 out of 10 by Hyrita Best Music Game To Date!
Got home the other day, opened the game with the keyboard, and began to play. While the gameplay is for the most part the same as the preceding games, the Pro mode requires a bit more thought than "Hit ze colours!". It made Drums gameplay seem more realistic when you hit the tom for a cymbal note and it doesn't count. :) Also tried the Pro-Keys mode which I do say will very much need practice and learning before most anybody new to the keyboard/piano can use. Can't say much for Pro-Guitar yet as I have to wait 'till the 15th of November to even buy it but I'm sure it will indeed take learning for those that do not know how to play a real guitar just like the Pro-Keys mode.

The first Rock Band had good songs. Rock Band 2 had ok songs but Rock Band 3's songs are the bottom of the barrel. Really, the standard songs that come with RB3 are not good by far. Some of the downloadable songs are good but not worth the money. I should have known RB3 couldn't have been that great when I saw they had used copies of it the same week it was released. The gameplay is not that great. I would say the added feature of harmonies is great and the overally graphics are good. However, some of the achievements take just about forever to get. Not worth the buy unless you are really into wasting money. If Rock Band 4 comes out I do not want it even if its free.

This game has the best setlist of any music game I have played so far. All the songs are fun to play, even the weird ones. Yes, for the record, "Crazy Train" is just as epic as you imagined. And yes ,"Space Oddity" is the song from "Mr Deeds". Anyway, the Career Mode is really strange now, but it seems easier to understand everything, so that's good. I don't know how Pro Guitar works at all. They brought back The Endless Setlist, which is annoying. You can now save your own custom setlists in Quickplay and send them to your friends using XBOX Live. If you are a Musicophile, you should really buy this game. Final selling point: "Bohemian Rhapsody"!
Rated 9 out of 10 by TonyHawk This is the best yet and heres why
other than thhe improved character creation added challenges and more songs this game is just awesome i am disapointed in the tattoo shop it isnt like it used to be like you can put tattoos on yout lower stomach and upper chest and you can put tattoos on your elbows ehh but other than that the characters facial features is completely customizible and can actually look like apretty good likeness of your self if you do it right and also the clothes are from the old game plus more of course the songs are great and if you have the first two rockbands watch out the set list is so long i barely look through it anymore HAHA but there is some weird parts to it like how they copied Guitar Hero 5 pull up menu and drop out dynamic i dont know why but its in there also the world tour mode isnt the same its more of a challenge set list thing where you play maybe 3 venues trying to get either as many overdrives as you can or as many streaks or how accurate you can play a section and these give you spades mroe spades you get the more you unlock *the stars you get also count as spades* there is no more money system to the game just a fan base more fans the more you unlock as well as mroe challenges you beat... i give this a 9 out of 9 only cause the tattoo system is a bit whack and the fact that a world tour mode is kinda dormant
