Rated 10 out of 10 by Oger368 AMAZING!
Red Dead Redemption is, hands down, the best game I've ever played. The expansive open world setting is huge, but there are so many landmarks and memorable sights, it is easy to remember where you are, and you won't have to look at the map all the time. The story is great, the side tasks are immersive and rewarding, and the choices you can make throughout the game do impact the game's future experience (but they don't alter the story). Great game. Undead Nightmare is amazing because... well... IT HAS ZOMBIES. It takes one of the greatest open world games ever and adds one of gaming's most famous infestations. Though the story is shorter, challenges aren't as challenging, and the world isn't as bustling and active as the original, it is entertaining nonetheless. The multiplayer packages are hard to live without, since they allow so many more game modes to be played and include new weapons and characters. A simply incredible package that any gamer would be ashamed to not have in his arsenal.
Rated 10 out of 10 by randomOSUfan The best wild west story ever.
This game is truly epic in every sense of the word. It is really fun to see how the story plays out and John Marston is a very entertaining character gamers will know and love for ages to come. Pretty much anything you can think of doing in the wild west is possible in this game. Want to capture a woman and tie her to train tracks? You can do it. Want to get into a duel and shoot a gun out of someone's hand like a true western hero? Possible. Or maybe you want to rob a train, perhaps? You name it, its in RDR. Even just exploring the vast, beautiful world of RDR is rewarding in the beautiful vistas you can see. Once you finish single player, the multiplayer modes are sure to please. Between horse races, poker, gang matches, and other entertaining modes keep the RDR experience alive after beating the story. Finally, the additional story titled undead nightmare is also fun to play. Overall, this is an excellent game sure to keep people entertained for dozens and dozens of hours.

I don't even know where to start with this game! It's classic old western. It feels like a video game dashed with movie style production that's integrated into the cut scenes and storyline. Gameplay, awesome! Random events happen that aren't part of the storyline, let it be a bar fight or bandit shootout or escaped convicts or a damsels cry for help, you can choose to ignore these events or increase your honor by stopping them. But proceed with caution because how you approach these events and everything in this game directly effects how things turn out. You can shoot on horse back, search the wild west, capture horses, kill unwanteds, take bounty's, buy supplies, take nightjobs, hogtie emies, gamble, play horseshoes, and in the case of this fantastic deal, FIGHT ZOMBIES!!! This is definitely a steal for the price, you get DLCs and the Undead Nightmare pack plus the original game for a price no one can beat. Graphics are great, sound is great, gameplay is semi-complicated but fluid, missions are interesting and entertaining, this game is so great! Go save a child and bring him to his mother, go kill a group of outlaws, go HAVE FUN. THIS IS A MUST BUY!

If you don't like the theme of the wild west you will still love this game it's just that good. The main Game it's lasted me 19 hours of gameplay. You can do so much like go hunting bears, buffalo, bobcat and sell the meat. The combat is great not awesome but great. The multiplayer is that awesome because instead of a multiplayer main menu you get put into a free roam session where you can fight other people that is your main menu. This game has so many game modes some unexpecting ones are poker, liars dice, ect. Zombies are absolutely awesome zombies campaign lasted me 7 hours. Undead overrun is so much fun with friend which is a hoard mode. Each new copy comes with a map of the game world but in the game of the year edition you get a double sided map with a zombies side. Most certainly worth the 30$.

I fell in love with this game about 2 years ago when it came out. Ever since then many DLC's and awards have been given to this game. Everything about this game is perfect, The story, The graphics, The characters, The Weapons, EVERYTHING. Rockstar really took time with this game and it came out a master piece. Even after you beat the storyline there is still much to do, Hunting, achievements, challenges (treasure hunter, sharpshooter) outfits to unlock, Properties to buy, games to play, etc. Once you finally have completed the game entirely you get an achievement and get a nice 100 gamer score. With this edition with undead nightmare, You really have a lot to do with this game. Replay value is excellent. So go to your local store or order online and buy it. Happy gaming :)

Everyone and their brother fell in love with this game when it was released. I waited for this edition before seeing what the fuss was about, and honestly it didn't captivate me as much as it did everyone else. The gameplay is solid, the story is good for the most part, and the little extra tasks that are scattered to occupy your down time are pretty fun. There just wasn't a wow factor to sell the game for me. I finished the story and did the majority of the extras, but once the story is over I never saw the appeal of replay. Keep in mind that I'm not one for multiplayer, which is what I hear to be the big selling point, so maybe that's where there majority of the development went. All in all this is a solid game with a good story, but I can't see what makes it so popular.

This game is arguably perfect. It is fun, great to play with friends, and will last you a long time. And with all of the DLC included, Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year edition is a no brainer. Something that really surprised me about this game was the sound. It was perfect. The voiced matched the characters and the time period. The graphics were also amazing. The horses looked so real when they ran. There are also many nice muliplayer features, such as free roam, which puts you into the entire world of Red Dead Redemption to explore with your friends. The game is definitely worth getting, so do yourself a favor and get it.

When I first bought this game I thought it was the most trashy western game yet but don't the western part stop you from playing this game it is really amazing the original story was a blast I couldn't get away from the TV my hands were trigger crazy just to play the game and the Undead Nightmare was a absolute 150 percent 10 rating. It was amazing how fun it could get with somebody what really exited me was The Four Horses of The Apocalypse I mean the game couldn't get better than it is I love it and still play it. This game will not disappoint you.

A great way to let out your inner John Wayne. This story is told brillantly. It's an open word western which can work against the story My first playthrough. I got addicted to liars dice about 30 percent the way through. You want to rob a bank by cracking a safe. You have to will yourself to okay stop gambling/robbing banks / breaking horses/killing-outlaws and work on the story. The game gives you a story. You could be the lone ranger or a bandit. It's about player choice and it is fabulous .
