Poor
Funny sound because of the terrible voice acting. It has very odd FPS view making the graphics suck. I give a little credit for the 1st person shooter but the enemies are a bit to hard to kill. Its also odd that there are 6 playable characters. I personally prefer playing as one like in ghost recon 2. just do yourself a favor and stay away from this game.

Bored in three minutes
If you have to choose between this and getting smashed in the face, take the hit! These graphics are bad even for this games time. The controls are terrible and gameplay falls short in every way and gets old in minutes. I returned my copy and got Fallout 3. Never buy this !

Not Good. So bad....it's great.
Well, let me just say that this game is really strange. The storyline is very off, and the gameplay lasts about 1 hour and then you realize...Why did i pay for this? Also, everytime i try to play this game, it lags horribly and sometimes wont even start. I don't know if this was just my disc or the game itself. The worst part about this game is that it is soooooooo cheesy! The voice acting is sooooooooo BAD!!!!! Especially Xian's voice! It sounds like a robot is talking the whole time! XD This game is OK for people that are new to first-person shooters but if you have plyed them for a while you will be extremely bored with this game.

Raven Squad is a okay to good game
First I just want to say that I believe Raven Squad is a good game if you enjoy a game that I believe is based around 80s action movie.s This is because of the corny lines of the men in Raven Squad and the atmosphere based around South America where a rich man now has an army of men. The game was not very challenging because the enemies often just stand out in the open but do not fire because they think that they are in cover or something. They are somewhat good shots and the sniper can hit you from a distance which I think makes the game realistic. Some parts are very frustrating even on normal where you might have to replay it a few times to get through it. The AI are dangerous when they appear in groups of 5 or more. The controls are not bad and give you the Real Time Strategy view just by clicking Y on the Xbox 360 controller. Then to reload you just click RB which is the same as other games. The aiming and running are not the best placement with LT making the play run, which you have unlimited of, and RS which when pressed zooms in your current weapon. This makes running easier but can make aiming hard until you get used to it. The graphics in Raven Squad are not good compared to new games such as Gears of War 2 or Modern Warfare 2 but it is equal to games that came out maybe two years ago. Even though they are not that good, they do not hinder gameplay because its hards to see or something it is just not going to make you be shocked by how good the graphics are. The animations for reloading are good and the guns look almost like they have better graphics when you are reloading. The interface is good for moving your squads because it is simple and it does not take more than a few button presses to move your squad. The menu options are also simple and easy to use to see the extra content, play online, singplayer, or options. To change the current squad member that you are playing as you just move the arrow keys either up, right, or left. You can also move the arrow key down to change your current squad. I have not yet finished the game but I believe that I am close within a couple of missions, and I have played for about 5 hours on normal. The missions do sometimes give you more than one route to complete an objective but not most of the time. If you want to replay the campaign online with a friend you will get more out of the game. The sound of the game is fairly good and gives you some of the sounds you might hear in the rainforest. The sounds of the guns is okay. The sound during the cut scenes is not bad but the voice overs do not always line up with the characters mouths which i thought was weird. There could be more to sound but I did not pay close attention to it though. The storyline like I said above is like a 80s action movie and you might be able to guess what is going to happen next but it is still fun to play like an action movie is to watch. Again it is not very long, and sometimes it doesn't completely make sense why the sqaud does certain things. In conclusion this is a game that could be thought of as terrible if you don't give it a shot, great if you like the combination of FPS and RTS or you could be like me and fall in the middle thinking that its not great but it is worth playing. I have enjoyed it so far, but do not see much replay value in it.

So Bad...It's Decent?
Raven Squad is pretty poor in just about every category. Graphics are far from good, with simple, blurry, and muddy textures, bland level design, weird button placement for controls (you run with LT and zoom clicking the right analog stick for example) very plain/generic character models, and voice acting SO BAD that its AMAZINGLY AWESOME. Yes folks, the voice acting in this game must be heard to be believed. So why am I hear today telling you that its sort of, kind of...decent? Well, I guess the same way when a movie is so bad its good and you cant help but watch it, this philosophy (to me personally) applies to Raven Squad. Gameplay- Pretty poor FPS'ing with IDIOT PROOF RTS'ing. Seriously the RTS in this game is dumbed down to the 9th degree, there is absoultey nothing to it. This would be fine if your a newcomer to FPS'ing and RTS's but if you've been playing both these genres for a long time then you'll be dissapointed greatly here. Yet again, in a very strange way....I actually enjoyed it. So bad...I cant help but like it? Yeah. Controls- For FPS you run with LT, Shoot with RT, reload with RB, and A is to switch to your secondary weapon, and Y is to go into RTS mode. In RTS mode you move your cursor around and once you know where you want your characters to go the A button is to move them, shooting is done automatically once they spot bad guys, B is to cancel a command, D-pad down is to switch between both squads, while D-pad up, left, and right is to switch to an individual member of the squads. So bad...I cant help but like it? Not really, but at least it isnt an atrocious control scheme. Sound- WOW. JUST WOW. The voice acting in this game is the one aspect that I TRULY LOVE cause its SO BAD...ITS AWESOME. It is CHEESY AS ALL HELL, and the award for worst voice acting has to go to the character of Xian. She has to have the most ridiculous accent and pronounciation of words that I have EVER heard. So bad...I cant help but like it? OH HELL YES. Length- Very short game. You can be done with it in a bout 4-5 hours on veteran (hard) difficulty and its even shorter on normal/easy. Acheivements- 46 total and there actually well varied. You'll get regular stuff such as completeing each level of the game, getting X amount of headshots, etc. Then you have about 2-3 specific achievements in each level which are pretty fun at attain. Overall not a bad achievement list at all. Again, I see Raven Squad as the so bad its good equivalent. I give developer Atomic Motion much props for trying to combine both respective genres into one package. Its cool for newcomers to both genres though everyone else may want to look far away from this title.

not worth it
this game is very slow paced. the enemies dont move very well around and really dont seem to mind you moving by them. not impressive waiting for a good one to be realest, something more modern day combat, i love the feel of combat like real combat not cartoon combat. it just dosent seem to have the feel of a game that uses the fps mode accurately and portrays soldiers of today. all in all the game doesnt have the length or the accuracy for me to say id buy it again, i anticipated but was not satisfied by this game and to be honest it has nothing on modern warfare or world at war even though the game utilizes both modes of game play it just doesnt seem to have everything working at once. like i said dont waste the money rent it if you are one of the few that like it buy it.

Not bad but not great
This is one of the games I had been waiting on. It's also one of those that I wish I had just rented instead of bought. I haven't finished the campaign yet, but I've played enough to know that I probably wont play it again. It's just so-so. Graphics are rather cartoonish. The sound quality is pretty good. I love the idea of the combination of FPS/RTS. Brothers In Arms Hells Highway had a similar thing going on. It is a much better game than Raven Squad in my opinion. As far as the multiplayer goes, I haven't tried it yet. It only offers a multiplayer campaign. No free for all, team deathmatch, or etc. The aiming is very akward. If you're a fan of FPS games, you could at least rent it. I wouldn't recommend buying it without trying first. I'll stick with Call of Juarez Bound in Blood until Modern Warfare 2 comes out.

I dint really think its gonna be that good because it looks kinda the same as all the other shooter games every time they make a new shooting game its kindathe same but from looking at the video it looks kind of not as good as all of the other shooter games but i would give a 6 out of 10 it doesnt look like it has much fire power but we will see
