Rated 9 out of 10 by Shootingman16 Really fun game
I've been wanting this game for a year and I finally got it.And I have to say that it did not I repeat again not disappoint me.I had a lot of fun playing through the game. The game isn't that hard to pass.I passed it on easy and normal and it was pretty fun.The story kept me entertained and it made a lot of sense. One of the cool things about this game is the powers.Next I want to talk about the sword you unlock later in the game.It kills skeletons and those other enemies in just one hit. That's awesome! Next is the final boss fight. On easy if you run out of health you could just go back in time and dodge the attack. But on normal you can't use any of your powers. They tried to make it a little bit harder but it's pretty easy to pass. The controls are a little bit hard at the beggining of the game if you have never played POP on the XBOX 360.The only boss there is is Ratash and he is not that hard to beat.So I hope this review helped you to decide if you want this game and that's it

I have been playing all of the prince of persia games since the sands of time trilogy for ps2, my favorite being warrior within. I was interested when I first got this game and was hoping for the same level of playability that was in the previous games. I was very dissapointed to notice that the combat system seemed to be much too easy with no way to really increase the level, only decrease. I also noticed the achievements as I continued told me where in the story I was, when I got 3/4 through the game in what felt like a few hours, I was dissapointed in the length of the game. The graphics were great and everything was present with new cool abilities, but there was not enough of a challenge to actually need to use them besides the overcrouding of enemies at certain points, where mashing the x button becomes your best friend. I am sorry to say that this has been my least favorite prince of persia game that seemed kinda forced because it came out around the same time as the movie.

First of if you like long games and a challenge, this game is for you. It has amazing graphics and sound. It doesn't go like the movie or the games. But if your a fan of PoP then this game you wanna get. Like the other Prince of Persia games it has a lot of challenges and puzzles here and then. YOU will not fly through it like some 6 hour games. The story line is pretty good unless you hope you would be fighting people not sand monsters. The upgrades are cool and their is different powers you unlock. Razia helps you but you don't fall in love with her or all of that. And you only see one of your brothers in the game and half the time your arguing with him. I'm not going to give any spoilers are away but you can control more stuff than just time. Like I was saying, it has some puzzles that may make you throw down your control some times but it's a whole lot of fun.

I wasn't so sure of the game when I first picked it up. Honestly, I had mixed emotions the moment I opened the case. I was wrong to be skeptic of the game. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a great action adventure game that must be played by any fan of the series. The game has nothing to do with the movie and instead takes place between the two games Sands of Time and Warrior Within. The gameplay is nice and the graphics are rich in detail. There are lots of changes in this game compared to the Sands of Time trilogy. For instance, the free running system is more advanced. The fighting system has some nice and advanced upgrades. This helps the game become more exciting rather than tedious like the previous reboot. The story is also interesting and helps to keep you involved. The only issue in the game was that the length was 8 hours and that the game was a little too easy. There isn't much replay ability after you beat it. You can only hope on playing the story over again. Overall, the game is a great game and is worth it. If you have no plans on buying it, then I suggest you rent it for it would be a great game to play for the weekend.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that this turned out to be better than I expected. While going back to explore what happens in the time span between The Sands of Time and The Warrior Within sounds like an amazing idea, there was about 500 things that could have gone wrong with it. What they turned in was a very good game that does a great job of filling in the storyline in that gap of time. The graphics are outstanding too. The platforming is insane and the addition of elemental magic is well conceived and well implemented. I’m glad they didn’t just hand in something sparse and lacking because honestly, they could use this franchise as a cash cow. It has enough fans that they didn’t have to do as great a game as they did. But they cared enough to give us a great game, and I’m happy with the result.

To start off the movie that came out and this game arnt related they are completely two different things. The game captured what Prince of Persia meant to me. It captured the puzzles, free running, and fighting style. I loved the new powers that you got and had fun during the massive battles. The puzzles were fun and were challenging, but not so much you couldnt figure out what to do. The game had a very good pace and flow from puzzles to fighting and switching off between the two to not have too dull of a moment. The story line was great the voice work was very well done. This game is great to Prince of Persia fans, but keep in mind you probably wont have any care to play it again. Its just one of those games youll play and love, but wont want to play it for at least a few month afterwards.

I was so excited about this PoP every since the other games. I was a fan until the end, good stories, great combat, and awesome powers. I have played the other games multiple times and have almost all versions. When I got this one, I was very excited to continue the saga, but all until this one point. This system seems to be irresponsive at times and it's real hard when you need to act quick with the controls, but since it takes more than a second to respond, I can't get passed this certain part, and I tried every time, but still it won't respond quickly enough to move to where I need to go. And ever since that, I just quite playing it. I just wish I could get passed that certain point, but now it just gathers dust on my shelf.

The movie and game releasing at the same time is coincidence for the most part, but i think they figured it best to release the game with the movie so people that are unfamiliar with the game would want to check it out. This pop game takes place before the sands of time, and powers that stop elements rather then time itself. Elements will me manipulated and what not. Personally i cant wait to play this game after the obomination they put out last. Look forward to it. Also, this prolly wont get posted, it never posts when i have some thing to say, but when im just complaining i get posted every time, so im hoping all this at the end will allow me to be heard.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Mr. Emptywallet True POP
I must say that I was a little weary of this game when the first Prince of Persia for the X-Box 360 was not as good as I hoped it would be, even though it was still very enjoyable. I found this game to be everything that I loved about the POP's on the older consoles (with the minor exception of a lack of gore) but the controls are very fluid, the puzzles are not as frequent as the Sands of Time but are much more complex in regards to timing. The graphics are simply amazing considering that there can be anywhere to 30 enemies on screen combined with all the scenery. The latter bosses provide a challenge, especially on the normal difficulty setting. I do miss being able to run off the wall and do acrobat attacks and kills on enemies but I digress. The storyline isn't the strongest, but then again I didn't buy this game for story. If you like Story based games I suggest BioShock and BioShock 2. The ability to "Freeze" water in it's place at time is just an amazing feat of programming. It's fun to be able to platform using a liquid turned solid by the slowing of time. You also get to upgrade abilities to take out enemies faster, which again helps on the normal difficulty setting. It's not perfect by any standards, but this game is what I've been craving since I beat Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones almost 7 years ago. Kudos UbiSoft.
Rated 5 out of 10 by techforce uninspired..
got to amied, the only reason i brought this game was because of the movie. the movie itselft wasn't good, but i saw the inspiration to the movie and thought the game had to be good in order for them to make a movie out of it. boy, was i wrong, the game play on this is just plain boring and repetitive. this is probably just me, but i got stuck at one level and just couldn't find my way out, tried everything and still clueless. that totally killed my interest in this game. graphics wise, it had a great opening cinemaic secen, but the rest of the game was only decent. sound was also decent. never did finish the game and wish i can return it.
