I think this game sucks... just kidding! This game is awesome. Even though the graphics are not like gears of war 2 or fallout 3 or even halo 3 but let me say this 2005 graphics get it not 2007 graphics not 2008 graphics but 2005 graphics (the game was processed in 2005). The controls are the only thing I can complain about though. The controls are scattered to different places not like regular shooters but I guess you can get used to it like I did after a while. This game is very responsive. Let me think of a time I had to press a button to do something 2 or more times... oh it was when I... NEVER. I never had to do that which is great. Overall I think this game is worth the low cost of $.$$. I would actually rather have this game instead of gears of war 2 which is odd for me. So 8/10 and I will never change it.

I got this from gamestop and its well worth your money. I never played the original perfect dark but this storyline is like a prequel to the n64 version so story lines don't interfere. Well, there is a wide selection of guns, everything from falcon pistols to rocket launchers, and there's a couple vehicles like the hovercraft and this weird flying robot suit thing. The story starts off really boring but it gets better, but the missions get more challenging. There's single story and co-op story. The online is cool too. There's always a game waiting for you, and there's custom game search so you can search for a specific type of game you want to play online. Lots of achievements too that will keep you playing because some take a while to get. Overall, perfect dark zero gets a 9 out of 10 from me.

This Game at first is boring but as you get into it the harder and more fun. The graphics are not really up to date but it can pass if you want a cheap shooting game. Compared to the new games this one is not good but if you don't care and you need a new shooting game this one is a sure buy. There is so many glitches and cheats for this game it is not funny. You can go back and play old missions. Also you're a hot girl in the game in a jumpsuit. If you get lost they give you little blue arrows to tell you were to go so then you can play music from either an ipod or off of your hard drive. Most of the enemies are hiding so you have to be careful were you step because if you are not careful otherwise you will die. All in All this is a good CHEAP shooter game with bad graphics but good guns.

There are three reasons to buy Perfect Dark. You either have a major Jones for some Night Fire or Golden Eye and can't find them, you want some amazing split screen action, or guns that are actually different. The story isn't as terrible as people say. It's not Fallout or GTA but it's better than some action action games. The game has one of the most diverse armories. But my personal opinion, I think every fps needs to have these three guns in their arsenal. A heavy revolver, a one hit kill sniper rifle, and a sword. Unfortunately most games only have one or two of those and about ten AR's and ten SMG's totaling up to only two other guns. So if you like how Rainbow Six let's you pick your guns before every mission, but you wish it had more gun diversity like Halo or a Bond game, this may be a good game for you. Perhaps you want a challenging game. On the hardest difficulty of this game, It will give you hours of challenge. However if you are a young gamer who only grew up with CoD and have never played an old spy game, Zelda, or anything that requires thinking, then you wont be able to figure out how to beat the first level and will become uber frustrated and hate the game and not the player.

Rare did not do well on this game, it is poorly made and hard to move around but has its perks.
Pros: The game is very challenging with some of the levels difficult to get by. There are a wide selection of weapons and vehicles as well. Joanna though looks 20X better than she did in the first game.
Cons: The story is terrible and confusing. The graphics look like that the game should be for the PlayStation 2. The way the characters move around is stupid, and when you are shot, they make ridiculous sounds. The cut-scenes are poorly made and although they're mouths move, they're faces look terrible.
This games is being given an F.
Rated 9 out of 10 by RareJj7 Perfect Dark Zero the prequel part 7: review time
This game is simply awesome, too bad it's wikia is short but who cares!First launch title and it is sick, the graphics have improved but still not as good as unreal engine or havok :P , it's challenge is a bit too real, i mean dang, it is like simply amazing, i still need some help on campaign, the bots on multiplayer is far too real, as i have said on my gears 2 review, the bots here are highly tactical, what i say is that thier not computers, their bots, or bots are improved computers, bots never cheat, computers always cheat, which is why i always love playing with these bots ^_^ , the weapons are good enough for me, but it is sorta sad that not all of the pd weapons made to pdz(excluding the skedar weapons) , but this is the prequel so i very much understand, the multiplayer is good, far from good, it's awesome, 32 players + bots, my 2nd favorite, Rare has planned to make 50 or 64 players playable on pdz, but not sure about that yet, counter op was planned but if it both got on this game it would surely make my day, all the maps on pdz are good, my personal favorite is desert, great scenery and good size. Also you don't get to customize your character, which is a little sad but i guess thats the price to pay for good gameplay lol. Over all i give it a 9, some things can be improved but a lot of those have been planned, so as we speak me and many other Rare fans await for them to arrive on pd.

I bought this game when it first was released and i have fun with it till now. The campaign is short but sweet. The best part of this game is the split screen. When i have a few friends over this is the best game ever. You can play 4 person splitscreen and verse 12 bots. if its just you then you can verse 15. They also allow you to make the bots have different personalities and different skill level. The weapon variety is great too from shotguns to assault rifles and even boomarangs and swords. The online mode is also fun yes people still play it online
Rated 10 out of 10 by Styxfanatic1985 This is a great game!!!
As a launch title for the Xbox 360, this game still holds a lot of ground. From the creators of the first Perfect Dark as well as GoldenEye 007, Rare is a team that knows how to appeal. I did have an issue with it being slow, but I can overlook that. This is an awesome game. If you are just starting out on the Xbox 360, I would recommend this game. It's also a great insight to the world of the protagonist, Joanna Dark and how and why she started working for the Carrington Institute.

Since this game is now older it has gotten really cheap to pick up. It is still a fun and solid game. It feels slow compared to newer games but the single player is fun enough to play through two or three times. The multiplayer can be played online or local. You can set up bots like you could in the original Perfect Dark but for me the gameplay was too slow for my liking in multiplayer. Overall worth it if your an FPS fan or just looking for a cheap game to waste some time on.
Rated 5 out of 10 by Harker Very average
Perfect dark Zero is the definition of an average shooter. The gameplay is lacking with levels that deliver almost no challenge and pointless side objectives that add nothing to the game. The soundtrack however is above average and fits the levels very well. The only replay value in the game is the multiplayer which brings me back to my youth in a timspliters style death match.
