Rated 4 out of 5 by from only good for people who like flight sims It is an good game. It has good graphics except for on the ground, I love the cockpits, the numbers of missiles is realistic, except for the fact they recharge. If you are expecting another Ace Combat, you will be disappointed. If you love flight sims, this is the game for you. Best flight sim on the Xbox 360!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A waste of your $4 bucks the worst game I ever played story is too hard and complicated multiplayer is the same if not worse. You can't really enjoy the game unless you get the "good planes" which you have to beat story mode different and more difficult ways to unlock plus there are more experienced people playing who won't go easy on you in any way.It may sound ridiculous but it's a waste of your (in this case $4 dollars) money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, not great I picked up Over G Fighters since I am a fan of cheap used games and airplane sims; this game does a good job in the sim department, almost frustratingly at times. There is a bit of a learning curve if you decide to use "real" controls (versus the default "arcade" mode) but the scenarios (missions) are pretty simple to figure out and that's the key to the rest of the games locked content. The planes and their cockpits are fairly well done, but the rest of the graphics are not up to par with some of the grander games on PS3 or 360...but not horrible for 5 years ago. Music: horrible. Voice dubs, ok, but can get annoying. Sound effects, not bad either. All in all, for $6 this is NOT a bad game, and I don't think it's as bad as some of the professional reviewers make it out to be...it's not Flight Simulator and it's nowhere near as epic as Halo 3 or COD:Modern Warfare (etc) are but if you want something for cheap to help expand your Xbox 360 library, this game can fill that void without seeming like shovelware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Combat Flight Sim on Xbox If your into combat flight sims this is the one to get. This game has it all tons of planes to unlock from stealth bombers to f/18 superhornets. This is a real Flight sim unlike ace combat or hawx where its a complete arcade feel. You need to preform your own barrel rolls you dont just click a triger twice and it does it for you, you need to avoid missles with different strategies using chaffs and flares depending if there heat seeking or radar, there isnt unlimited fuel and ammo, before takeoff you can customize what you want to take, bombs, air to air missles, air to ship, air to ground, and when you run out you land at base or a near by aircraft carrier to refuel and restock your weapons or change your weapons if u need. Arena mode is great and more flight games should expand on it. Much better then the arcade flight games like ace combat if you want a more realistic feel, But if you want a game that dosnt require take off and landings and have unlimited ammo and auto pilot evasive manuvers then this might not be for you. The only downside to this game is the graphics. Everything else makes this the best combat flight sim on xbox and its only $5.99 you cant go wrong. Again if you're into a realistic combat flight sim with alot of options THIS IS THE GAME YOU WANT

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money the game is not good as others think. the game has bad controls and other bad stuff that is all i can say about this so it is bad thats the bottom line. blazing angels 1, 2 battle over the pacific and hawx is much better that all of over g fighters. the game has really poor graphics. the planes are realistics but the flying is not the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from over-g is a good game Despite what i've heard about reviews of this game not being good, over-g is a good game. all that is needed is to change the controls settings from arcade to realistic. from what i heard about the reviews it seems like whoever wrote the official review didn't change the controls. with the controls on arcade, it's not possible to do many maneuvers which would make it seem like the game wasn't good. the graphics are also good, a little lacking in some areas like the ground details, but it's a flying game that's all about the planes. it is also quite realistic about the planes, how much they can carry, how maneuverable they are, how fast they go, and to even include realistic models of the cockpits of all the aircraft in the game. it isn't a game with hundreds of weapons on an aircraft like the ace combat series, it is a realistic combat flight simulator, and as that, i say it's an excellent game. i would and have recommended it to anyone who would like a flying game for xbox.
