I just played the demo for this game, and I can honestly say that it isn't bad, definitely not as bad as most people make it out to be. The graphics are very detailed in some parts of the game, and other parts aren't. The control is very good, just what you would expect from an action game like Ninja Gaiden or God of War. It's very actiony, with many real time mini-games, which make you feel like you are causing more chaos than even God of War. They're that cool. The demo ends at the end of the first boss (which ends with your character dropping a wrecking ball on a giant spider which is AWESOME) so I don't know if there is an actual story, but my guess is: no. If you are fond of action games like, I'll say it again, Ninja Gaiden and God of War, then this game will probably be for you. It's fun, easy to control, and will make you feel like a ninja god inside. Plus, it is pretty easy, so you won't break your controller like, one more time, Ninja Gaiden or God of War(on the hard settings).

I played the demo for this game and was impressed with the fun factor of this game. I hesitated to purchase this game but a few weeks after the release I finally picked it up. I ended up kicking myself because I waited so long to get it. The graphics are unbelievable at times I didn't know if it was video or gameplay cut scenes. Upgrading the weapons is a plus. Maxing out your weapon and taking it to the creatures creates its own adrenaline. The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat anxiously awaiting while you progress through the game. The replay factor is excellent. Normally after finishing a game you forget it and move on to the next. With this game you try to obtain the additional weapons and ninjutsu while using the newly acquired power to destroy the creatures faster and more scintillating fashion. Also the levels are long no 15 minute levels here folks prepare for the long haul with these levels. Verdict- I Highly Recommend it.

I was very excited when this game came out, because I am a very big fan of the ninja series on xbox, which it looked very similar to, and pretty much anything ninja related, so when it was released I ran out and bought it. When I got home and popped the disk in, I was so dissapointed. The graphics are okay and the story is hardly innovative, but ( I know what you're saying who cares about the story, its a ninja game hows the haking and slashing.) the gameplay is so terrible that it's humurous. The main character is equipped with three diffrent swords. A katana, a large cloud-ish sword and two small short swords. Each sword litterally has one combo it can do and a small purple flame rest at the tip of each sword making it look like a girly ribbon follows his strikes and it doesn't help that he twirls his weapons around like a 3 year old gymnasts. Please, don't even waste your money and go buy another popular ninja game on the 360. *wink wink*

Ninja Blade is a fun beat-em-up game but is nothing special. Now many people would see this as a Ninja Gaiden ripoff but really it's not expect for the fact that both games have Ninjas. Now as I was saying the two games play nothing alike. In Ninja Blade the focus is to get as many kills in one combo string when in Ninja Gaiden you are racing to get to the end while getting multiple combos. Ninja Blade also has many, many, MANY QTE (Quick Time Events). In fact the only reason I don't like most of the boss fights is that you preform many of these QTE's through out the whole battle and you don't feel like you have much skill. Also your weapons all have their own use, for example your heavy sword breaks down walls, you stringed knifes help you jump over gaps, and your Ninja Star is used for putting out fires, conducting water, and moving objects. Also you have "Ninja Vision" which slows down time and adds more damage to your attacks. As for the music...it's nothing special and the voice acting is god awful. But Ninja Blade is a fun game and is worth the money it's priced at (**$).

That sums up this game right there, and that's not really a bad thing. First thing you will notice as you jump out the copter are the God of War-style context-sensitive moments (I'm fully aware other games have done this I'm just picking a popular title). Graphics are awesome and the game definitely has style a-la DMC. Combat feels like a combo of DMC and DW, until you switch to the Wire Swords (or whatever they're called) and then it feels like GoW swinging 'em around. Graphics and the mutant designs have a DMC/GoW feel to it, and the gameplay definitely has that DW repetitiveness to it (the Ninjutsus feel like the special moves that take out armies), which is good if you just want some time to kill but the demo seems like it won't be much different throughout the game...I could be wrong and hopefully I am but aside from the running-down-the-building part, it was a standard button-masher with ninjas and mutants in the future. I will definitely pick it up when it drops in price but unless I find there are more stylish scenes like the one mentioned, or weapon upgrades or combo upgrades, I probably won't pay *** for it.

I’m usually a rpg guy , so i usually don’t buy these types of games however I was glad that i did. No it is not like devil may cry or ninja gaiden. so please don’t compare. The misinformed guy below about how’s there is only one combo for each sword is wrong!!! You must lv up the weapon via killing enemies in which you will receive red orbs like god of war each weapon has 4 levels. there are 9 acts which each stage lasting somewhat between 20-45 minutes’ long, so on a second time around on easy u probably could beat this game within 4 hours it took me almost entire day. The one thing i like about this game is the fact that you can customize your character appearrance. and you can find costumes as well, not to mention the different ninja head band emblems you can find. Also like all ninjas the main character can use ninjutsu in fire, wind or thunder. the game has excellent replay value to find all the costumes ,emblems and hidden extras and they have a leader score board to track the time and combos you perform. the boss battles are massive. Got to love it- don’t want to give anything away so just play the game already.
Rated 3 out of 10 by AntMan9 THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE
Do not waste money on this game. The bosses are hard and there is saving or checkpoints in any level. If your in the middle of a mission and you leave you have to start the level ALL over again. This game is also repetetive. This game is hard and a waste of money trust me do not get it. The first mission boss is impossible and no checkpoints. You die easly. One thing thats good about this game is that you can upgrade your swords and customize your character which is sweet. If your not good at action games do not get this game its way to challenging. The swords are cool though when you hit someone. The storyline is ok, its kinda like Prototype because of the infected. Your not infected your just a human being. If you like challenging games and like Ninja Gaiden get it, but if your new to action and sword games dont get it.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Alexis Rios A really great game that everyone should try. A surprise and joy to play
The game is a very good game. Don't know why it got some bad reviews. It is pure adrenaline, it takes some aspects borrowed from other games (that is the truth), but the game itself it is really good and challenging with some of the best boss fights ever seen in any game. Good Fast action paced Great graphics Fun gameplay Awesome bosses Easy to learn controls Great combos Length of the game is OK Cons Save system needs to get checkpoints in the middle of a mission (there are checkpoints), but if you turn off the console, you need to start that mission again. Need to finish the mission to get a real save game. Missions take a little bit more than an hour the first time you play (average) No multiplayer, only uploads your stats to compare with others on the leaderboards Anyway it is an awesome game and you should try it :)

this is an okay game but its one of this games that should have a big sticker on the front of it that says Dont buy this go rent it first. If you do buy this game i VERYVERY STRONGLY recommend you finish the mission you are on and then stop dont be playin the mission and let it say autosave and stuff like that it dosent autosave it just saves the mission ur on and makes you restart the whole mission.Whats cool about this game is you can customize the way your ninja looks. This game its kinda hard to get into cause i think if you get hit by a minion person and you lose like 10 percent of your health and you get like 100 health orbs it gives you like 1 percent of your health back. They gave the Bosses WAY too much health especailly the spider. This game is good and terrible at the same time.

This game is so a wanna be Ninja Gaiden, the way this guy acts is like he wants to be Ryu!! I can't believe their gonna try and make a wanna be Ninja Gaiden and then make a crappy game at that. I know Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2( for the xbox's) have bad camera angles, but most would agree with me in saying, save your money and buy Ninja Gaiden 2. Its fun, difficult(VERY!) and has that bada ninja style to it. Cool bosses and awesome combos that would make Devil May Cry look like Dynasty Warriors. Devil May Cry by the way is an awesome game but to me it cant compare to Ninja Gaiden. I will always buy Ninja Gaiden games and I hate it when a game that clearly trys to be something its not, makes its way onto a console that has the game that its trying to impersonate( WHEW!,LOLO). NINJA GAIDEN FOR LIFE!
