Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best NFS, No Questions Asked. I Have Played my fair share of NFS, and the only person i wouldn't recommend this game to, is my arch enemy, because then they would likely get so addicted, they would become better than me, it is my FAVORITE NFS, best in all categories (Graphics, lasting appeal, Sound, AND gameplay) and anybody who says otherwise, i think you need your brain checked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Years Old, Still The Best NFS Game. What is there left to say about this game? Need For Speed Most Wanted hands had down right gorgeous graphics at the time of release... And to be completely honest, biased perspective aside, for a 2005 game, they still hold up pretty decently! The gameplay is addictively fun. The BMW M3 GTR is still as sexy as ever and one of, if not THE best car in the game. The story is lovable and it gives a greater purpose for all your illicit street racing. The cars are very neat, a good selection of Tuner and Exotics. It honestly puts a smile on my face when I see the prices for Most Wanted and Carbon, because the games are still well worth 30 bucks, also due to their rarity. The replay value for these two games don't end. I still play them until this day! If you have not played them, DO SO IMMEDIATELY! Especially Most Wanted. This is a MUST OWN GAME!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Great to play and I have every time I play it! The game play is great the only thing I would change is when your car crashes it would have more damage like in the drag races. Other than that I love this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best NFS still to date! I love this NFS game. It came out almost 10yrs ago now & I'm still hopeful this game will come back, with part 2 & NOT the new "Most Wanted" Horrible (imo) or a NFS Underground would be amazing :D I liked Carbon a lot as well. I've enjoyed this game so much over the years & still enjoy kicking Razors butt. lol. Highly recommend to any fan of the Racing Genre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Planning on re-buying it. I got it as a gift back when it first released for my PS2 and I moved away from home leaving it with my brother. I now own a 360 and if I can find it I'm definitely re-buying it. The game had so much to offer: -Police pursuits were crazy and fun and can last for however long you wanted (My longest chase was an hour) and with the police back-up systems you could open an escape window whenever you wanted to by loosing the trail of pursuers or taking out cops via gas stations and loose building pylons. -The racing felt extremely balanced offering both a challenge and a fair fight at the same time. -Lower end cars actually felt low end and high end cars felt high end. The two were hard to compete against one another, even with aftermarket parts unlike today's modern racers where a mini-cooper can go against a zonda and win with the right parts. Not saying that it is bad, but it removes car classification. NFS MW keeps that. -Customization. Oh. My. God. Why doesn't the nfs series bring this back? 9 years and I still remember not unlocking all of the parts. Wings, bumpers, skirts, roof scoops, hoods, vinyl patterns, paints of all colors, window tints, customizable HUD Tachometer, rims, widebody kits, preset kits, carbon mods... It just goes on and on! -The storyline and cast felt well built. I trusted my allies and had a hatred for my rivals. Not many games do that for me, and because of that, it threw me for a loop in the ending when plot-twist galore happened, but it was satisfying and made me wanting more when the credits rolled. -The map was the hugest map for it's time, and I still think it is one of the biggest maps in the nfs series. There are so many roads to take and many different environments to travel on. You start in a small town surrounded by forests all around and there is a college in the middle of the town. Later you unlock the East Coast where there is another town prided on sailing the waters along with trailer parks tucked up north in the hills and factories and canneries across it's lake. The third and final section of the map is all industrial and cityscape where the Police HQ of Officer Cross resides. Oh, and there are hospitals and prisons that are REALLY fun to drive through since they are set on hillsides that you drive straight down from. There are a few graphical glitches here and there such as the HUD not lining up properly in the menus if you run it in 16:9 (game was built around 4:3), and the only in game one I could find is if you hang your car off the 2nd floor at the bus depot you can teleport into the buses, but nothing game breaking. Final Verdict: Single-Player action movie-style open world street racing with balanced races, fun police chases, a variety of car mods (including secret junkman parts. Those are fun to get) a rewards system that leaves you with plenty of spending cash, and boss fights/races that are challenging with a neat reward system where you get paid cash, but you can also select 3 bonus tokens out of a 5 token chain which can be anything from "get out of jail free" to "bonus cash" and my favorite one, "pink slip" where you get your rival's car. (The only car I have never gotten is the Irish Aston Martin. That one is an elusive car to get a pinkslip for) I can go on, but I'd spoil too much. -Wrecked911

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic 10 Out Of 10 This by far is the Xbox 360 Platinum Hit and I'm surprised it's not game of the year. By far the best NFS game to date, even if it's been out 8 years, it's still by far the best racing game. EVER!
