Rated 6 out of 10 by IXI BiRD IXI Great game except for online!!!
The gameplay for the most part is very good. There however are times that my cornerback will be way away from the receiver and it forces me to waste a timeout. There also is a problem with the playaction boot screen play the qb keeps running backwards when faking handoff. These are minor problems tho that can be easily overlooked. What really makes me mad about this game is the online ranked matches. I will be playing (and winning) and all of a sudden i get disconnected from the ea server. Not only does it give me a loss it also counts it as me quitting. I've had this happen twice already and ive only played about 10 games online so far. Also what really makes me mad is i will be whipping somebody online and its nearly half time, i have a huge lead and the other player quits. yes it does give him a loss and a quit counted against him but it doesnt give me the win!!! i will be trading this game in if this issue is not fixed its very aggravating and disappointing because it could be an awesome game.

Rated 5 out of 10 by Davar Great Graphics And Sound. Horrible Controls
I had extremely high hopes for this game but it let me down greatly. As a college football fan I really wanted this game to bring me back into sports gaming but this game dissappointed me. I took the game back as a trade in because the controls are HORRIBLE! You have to use the right stick (up, down, left, right) on defense to perform "special" moves with the D-lineman such as swim, rip, and bull rush. Also the sprint buttons change from offense to defense and there are dedicated buttons, triggers, and bumpers that you can't change the controls for which really limits the button customization. Unfortunately before this game the last NCAA game I played was NCAA 2008 for the original XBOX and I really prefer those controls over this games controls. I would suggest to EA Sports that they should AT LEAST make all buttons/controls customizable to make new gamers figure out what type of controls suit them best and are most comfortable for them with this game and future NCAA games as well as the Madden franchise.

I have ncaa 10 and just about hated the juking controls and it was sooo easily to intercept and sack...the new game, ncaa 11 is great. The animations and tackiling is fluid..the jukes are fixed because in 10 you juke right and over you go 5 yards when the hole was slightly to the side. The only complaint i have is that RTG is the exact same, really the only team with the new nike jerseys(the ones with the featherlike objects on the shoulder) is oregon..the Florida state reverse colors with the nike jerseys arent there and florida or any of the other teams but oregon dont have them either. The last thing is that when your on defense..it is ridiculous to get an int unless the comp does it for you. i usually play as a free safety cause ALL football games i just get like 5 picks...well this game i had like 15 DROPPED ints wide open with nobody around..its aggrivating but all in all way better than 10..madden is going to be sick if its just as good as this game.

Even though the demo isn't the full game, i pretty much got the jist of it. They were right in saying the locomotion has changed, for the better. It takes a bit to get used to, but i've been practicing and now i'm jukin like Adrian Peterson. Also, i dont know how, but they managed to make the already amazing graphics look better. The pregame is cool too because it shows the pregame tradition of each team, like Clemson coming out of the tunnel then touching Howard's Rock then running down the hill. Plus, ESPN has been incorporated into this game, sorta like how it's incorporated into last years NCAA Basketball. Also, each team has their own real-life strategy. And if u run by that strategy, you'll more than likely be playing a lot better with that team. The computer even runs their team's strategy which makes it very realistic. Lastly, they added the Nike Pro Combat jerseys for teams. They are so sweet looking! So, overall i think this game's has a lot of potential. Because after playing the demo, i cant wait for more!

There definatly needs to be imporovements in the equipment that the players wear. You should be able to have towels because so many players wear them, as a bonus, it would be nice to adjust the size of the towels and location. There are so many players that wear eye paint I cant count, like Tebow on the cover. And there need to be more celebrations when your team gets a big upset like the fans storming the field, or winning a big game and holding up the trophy. Also, you could have something in the pregame like showing players warming up. There needs to be more of a home field advantage like there was on the normal x-box version. I felt like I downgraded when I switch from the original to the 360. And finally the rivalry games, there needs to be celebrations for rivalry game and if teams have something special they do like USC and UCLA both wearing home jerseys than that should be included. All im saying is one of your guys needs to go to a football game with a pad and pen and take some notes about how real life college football is played.

I am a college football fan, and I am good at this game. I don't have a lot of problems with the current version, and I don't want it to be like Madden. I like the different style of NCAA and I hope it stays that way. To the guy who said that he would like to see NBC, ABC, and ESPN join together, that isn't possible. Disney owns ABC and ESPN, they are the same thing. NBC only shows Notre Dame, so there would be no point. I would really like to see them get the CBS commentary for SEC Conference games. They brought CBS in for the basketball, so why not just for SEC football games. EA should do this because the SEC has the biggest fan base and the CBS commentators are better. More people would buy it. One thing that needs to be fixed is when players are fallins backwards and they all of a sudden fall forward for an extra 3 yards. This game will be good and GEAUX LSU.....can't wait to beat ya'll online when this game comes out!

Rated 10 out of 10 by BlackMamba Best one in years
ok I have to say this is the best one since 05. It's finally isn't a hand me down game where they would add something that madden has already done the year before. This year it got all the new things madden has. For the most part it's pretty much the same as last year in just about every way expect for the minor things they do every year. The problem I have with them game is and keep in mind this has been the same problem just about... well actually it has been the same problem ever since EA started making it. After 4 years into dysnasty mode the highest player over player is at an 80 and doesn't even improve a few years down the road and that's when it become unrelisic. Then Big time programs like Texas, Alabam, and Ohio State to name a few their team stats over all letter grade is at a b- or below and they even go down a star to make them 5 stars and lower. This has been a problem ever since EA has made the games.

What I would LOVE to see on the NCAA version of College Ball, first, the heisman Trophy winner being on the cover of the the next years game cover. The second, I would love them to change the summer with training. I would like them to put the game the way the Madden game has it so you can upgrade your players before the season starts, like mini camp. This way you can add stats to your favorite QB or RB instead of the game doing this for you, do your upgrades to the players you want upgraded or have the option to let the 360 do this for you. And also this is done only before the season, not after each game the way Madden has it. Its ridiculous to have that, how much better can you get a 35 y/o QB and play him for 4 years. Everyone knows that his chances go up each game of being knocked out, look at what happened to a LOT of QB's that didnt even make it to the 30 y/o! And oh I forgot, createing players! This is ridiculous, you can create a team of MONSTERS! with 99 on all the stats, for each player! The say they want to be more realistic, BS! Come on be realistic!

Ok...this looks pretty awesome...the crowd doesnt look real...but for once you can see the crowd interacting and not just going left,up,right, and repeat. Unlike '10 you dont just go to the coin flipping...you actually get to watch your team exit the tunnel! the rest seems a lot like it did in 2010...oh but Tebow? why not have a real QB that doesn't cry after a loss! I want a defensive linemen...OH YA...but i think im trading in 2010 for 2011...i think their efforts in changing it have convinced me it's a better game...i also think they should keep teambuilder...but add options to make your own stadium! or atleast make it so you can just create a team on the game its' self! i dont like getting on Live to get the team i made or to make a team( I do it on the computer)! I think it'd be cool (not probable ik) for them to add a Walk On Campus mode or something...walking around campus getting high fives...girls flirting with you...Pep Rallys! Think your whole school showing up to support you! ATLEAST add that...but i think they made small but important changes to the game...LIKIN IT

Well i have played the demo on 360 on Ncaa 11 and i see alot of improvements . The way you run and cut is amazing like you really have to make the right cut to break out. Another good thing is the no huddle offfense you can now pick your play from any formation thats gonna help. The feel for the game is more realistic if youu look the grass messes up if its grass not turf , after a gam you can see dirt and stuff thats pretty cool. Another good thing is the team entrance i love that. Like how Clemson run down the hill and touch the rock or how Ohio state hold arms they havee all that so thats gonna be cool. A thing i didnt like is that your corners are always getting burnt, i dont know why but they do. A problem is fumbleing all i do is fumble idkaay why put i turned the ball over 9 times in a game on the DEMO with 2 MiN quaters. But other than that Ncaa 11 seems to be a great game.
