NBA Live 10
A HUGE Step Up
NBA Live 10 is nothing like the other NBA Live games (in the good way). Everything about this game is better than Live 09. I have all of the Live games since 03 (which in my mind is better than all the of 'em except Live 10) so I realize how advanced this is compared to the others. Some things are the same (like the very annoying counteroffers while trading) but now there's new alot of upgrades (like off-ball movement and overall gameplay). If you compare it to NBA 2K10 I believe Live is better. Gameplay is similar but navigating the menu on 2K10 and things a do ALOT like trading is extremely confusing. Plus terrible players on 2K10 wanna sign for millions. For example, I tried signing a D-League player who was a 62 and he asked for 6 million a year plus a signing bonus. Now I'm not saying 2K10 is bad, I love the My Player mode and just playing the game, but Live is better. If you can only offord one of these games, get NBA Live 10. Overall a great buy and BEST basketball game out there.
Best Live to date.
This game is amazing. The graphics are better in a BIG way, but they can still be improved a lot. But the fact that the crowd actually understands your player means a lot. For example, if you use the player Vince Carter, and play him in Toronto, they will all boo him whenever he gets the ball. (You know, Vince left Toronto, so now they hate him) Well, that's just a little bit. The music is great, the feeling is great. The controls are not hard at all, and the great feeling of winning is amazing. Dynamic DNA is also much better in Live 10, and you get all the great players on each team after they get traded and stuff. (must have xbox live) If you are hoping to get a basketball game, get NBA Live 10, because there has not been a better basketball game ever. Period.
Nba live 10 has incredible game play like, four-point plays and and ones. The sneakers are realistic and when you edit your player on the team like rookie of the year Derrick Rose you can put any sneakers of the brand that he wears which are addidas. The brands on NBA Live 10 are,Addidas,Nike, and,Jordan. I also like how you can customize the forearm bands and put the letters on it. I like that before you play the game you can go to the hangar and dunk or shoot. What i also like about this game is that you can play through trainingcamp. What i like about the dynasty mode is that signing free agents is very easy. The call playing is a little bit hard i like the way you can pivot in the triple threat posisition. I also like the post up moves and the bigmen taking close hooksshots. The freestyle passing is so increbible and Live 1s better than 2k this year i can't wait until live 11 comes out hopefully it'll have better graphics. 2k needs to step their game up
hot hot hot
this game is the stuff i mean its crazy fun and graphics are off the chaIN
Wrong Place, Wrong Time
Over the past couple of years, when you think of a NBA game, you think of NBA 2k and you wouldn't b wrong either. However, for those who remember, there was a time where that last sentence would end with NBA Live. EA Sports' last stand with a basketball franchise, NBA Live 10 was a very underrated and good video game. In NBA Live, the graphics are significantly improved, realism is good, and most of the annoying features from the previous installment has been removed. Usually, these are factors that make up a good game, but since NBA 2k is so outstandly good, NBA Live 10 gets lost in the shuffle. But, if you remember the good old days of NBA Live and you are one of the very fewwho doesn't appreciate the NBA 2k franchise, NBA Live 10 is a very good game. Hopefully, in the future EA Sports doesn't have the same unfortunate fate happen to the rest of its games.
Best NBA Live Thus far, Awesome Graphics
In my opinion this is the best NBA live game produced yet. Although I was disappointed that they didn't come out with one for 2011, EA updated the rosters and player DNA on the online servers so its like having a new game despite the same loading screen, cover, etc.... Awesome graphics, fluid player motions, and great online modes, I don't think 2K games even come close to this! Overall, A must buy!!!
Ok...ok...I see that nba live has done there homework this year...it's about time...to start i've always been a fan of NBA 2K and have always bought both games every year...but this one seems not to be a waste of money...everthing seems to be alot better at least in the demo so far..the only gripe I still have is in the graphics..they still look cartoony..but the collision and gameplay is very tight and exciteing...this is a must buy for me..and if your a hardcore live fan for you too...it's still to early to compare to 2K since there is no demo yet...but best believe i'll be back with my full review of each demo...so save that money ...pre-order if you are smart and buy both...I have a feeling this year is a NBA fans dream...oh yeah just so you live fans know they stole one of NBA 2K's programers and you can tell...the control is all most identical...the best NBA LIVE in years...
If you're a balla who mainly likes to play basketball games on XBOX Live, then this is the game for you. I'm tired of people saying how 2K11 is so much better because it isn't. If you're into the "My player mode" stuff, then I would recommend 2K11, but if you're into playing against people online, then this is the game for you. In 2K11, they make it nearly impossible to score a lot of points because shots never go in. I'm absolutely horrible at 2K11 and I've never had someone score more the 50 points against me. NBA Live is much more realistic and has better graphics. I'm not trying to bash 2K, but they make it so hard to score that it's ridiculous. Also, this is only 25$, so go get it.
don't worry about graphics on video
i have the game and the game has better graphics then the video. so don't not get the game because the video of the game has bad graphics
better, but still room for improvement
for the past few years since about 2007 I've played live and liked it for the most part. however this year I played NBA 2K 10 and loved it. So comparing live and 2K I would give the edge to 2K but I must say I'm impressed with the improvements live made the especially the way the players looked that is one thing live definitely did better on I mean Lebron has all the tats that he has in real life Kobe finally doesn't look like a bird, however I think the arenas could still use some improvement. but one thing I think live has to get if they want to compete with 2K is some kind of superstar/my player mode, this is something I've been really wanting ever since Madden came out with superstar and 2K finally made it happen and it was amazing with out a doubt the best part of the game. But overall live made some great improvement and is a pretty solid basketball game.
