This is the fighter game of the year. When i heard they were making mortal kombat vs dc universe i was ecstatic to finally have a game were dc characters don't hold back. Then the final days ticked down and they rated it teen i was saddened, but i picked the game up anyway and this is the best fighter game i have played in years. The finishing moves our fantastic. The blood is still their along with some new features such as clothes show wear and tear the body shows bruising and the characters look so life like. The special moves are mind blowing and fun to pull off and watch. The story mode is just like a comic and explains perfectly on how these two worlds crossed paths along with why a superhero that normally wouldn't kill would through rage and how it affecting mk and dc. Also they explained perfectly on how a character like green lantern or superman would suffer power losses to not give them godly might compared to mk. I love this game and anyone who loves fighters would agree.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Cnote Um AMAZING!!!!!!!!
I have been a hardcore fighting fan since the classics and this is definitely one of thee top games in a LONG time. I have to say I think the Playstation controller is a bit more suited for the fighting games, but still works well with the 360 controller. The story mode is a lot of fun and unique, tying both sides together was done well which wouldn't be an easy task. The graphics are very well done, they definitely payed attention to the details which is nice for a change. Both MK and DC characters look and play very well. There looks and style are very accurate and the moves are just plain awesome. The sound is very crisp and clear , sometimes it is a little tuff to hear what they say when fighting just because of all the slamming and blasting going on. All I gotta say is that Captain Marvel is awesome and they have waited way to long to bring him into a game, but at least they did it just right and not some side story flop. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys MK or DC. BUY IT!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Wishful Thinker Mortal Kombat!!!
I just found out that there will be downloadable content for the game such as characters and stuff until the next game is released. So, I guess that should eventually kind of help make up for the lack of unlockables features. It might be just wishful thinking, but it would be nice if we could get something like more violent finishing moves! Anyway, the game's graphics are better than ever with supreme sound effects, solid online play, and the special moves are better than ever. Special moves can be combined with other special moves and stuff. You will either think that the story mode is good, bad, and/or maybe a little short. The moves are easy to do but putting all the combos together might take a little practice. Now, if any MK fans think that adding DC characters to the mix ruins the storyline, well just remember that it is actually not going to be canon to the series and it is not a follow-up to MK Armageddon either. It is kind of like a prequel and just a fantasy. Just give it a try now, will ya?

When you hear that Superman fights against Flash, and Flash against Batman, you do not believe yourself. For the first time, Worlds Collide. This new game, with a new style of fighting includes a series of characters like Green Lantern, Sonya Blade, and one of the most unexpected, the Joker, (that in the movie The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger makes it one of the best performances RIP). for the first time in their lives makes alliance with Batman, and in this game is a clear example of the folly and great joke in which he characterizes the Joker. The graphics in both the PS3 and 360, are extraordinary, because this type of game is worth a good impression on a plasma display. Mortal Kombat is not left behind because it comes with characters who throughout the history of the game in his players have created an intense pleasure in the way that they end up with their opponents español. With a total of 22 playable characters, this game is one of the best fights of that Midway and Warner Bros. has created.

I have always been a fan of Mortal Kombat and thought this would be a great game. I was very disappointed in what I got. The controls are very stiff and combat is overly frustrating even on the normal difficulty setting. The graphics, sounds and effects are nice, but if the game plays like garbage, none of that really matters. Some hardcore fans might enjoy it, but I didn't. A major issue I had is with the jumping issue. In MK1, 2, and 3, jumping didn't require you to press a button. It was just pushing up and whatever direction you wanted to jump. I really enjoyed the 2d MK games better then when they decided to make the jump to a 3d fighting plane. I also felt as though the characters were quite imbalanced. Playing against the Flash for example, makes you feel as though you are moving in slow motion and it is very hard to block (if at all) any of the attacks he throws your way. I just really feel they had a great concept and unfortunately it didn't turn out nearly as well as it could, or should, have.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! That was my reaction when I found out Midway and DC Comics were teaming up to create MK vs. DC Universe. I've always wondered why DC never used their characters that much when it came to fighting games. Well, there was Justice League Task Force for the SNES, but other than that, not too much else. THEN THIS COMES ALONG!!! It's about damn time. Although I have some choices of my own, the lineup they have for this game is pretty good, and should satisfy every type of fighting game fan. I can't wait to duke it out using Batman, Shazam, Green Lantern and DARKSEID!!! Are you kidding me?! This game will rock! I can't wait to see what kind of unlockable "kontent" they'll have, and if the past Mortal Kombat games are any indication, there should be a TON. Maybe hidden characters, extra character skins, bonus "making-of" videos, or even a "characters that didn't make it" list. The possiblities are there, it's just a matter of time and we'll be able to play this latest masterpiece from Midway.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Tommy's little review It's a great game.....where are the characters?
This game could have been better but it is still really good. As soon as I bought this game, I played for hours! The storyline is pretty good and the graphics are amazing. There are good characters but I wished for more characters. This is a game that I would recommend for those that like mortal kombat games and a good challenge. As I have said before, there aren't much of a variety of characters as the other mortal kombat games but you can get used to it and have fun with it. The detail was so... detailed. It was amazing since I could see so much. If I was playing on my 60" tv, people from across the street would have agreed that the graphics were amazing. The best thing about this game though was the character's moves. Their special hero moves amazes me like The Green Lantern's Hammer Of Justice was pretty cool and the quality of the "Green Hammer" was pretty cool. This is a good game and I don't think I'm going to let go of this one for a while.
Rated 0 out of 10 Could be alright..
I just wish they had a little more violence and all that good stuff to make it feel like a MK game personally. I dont think that they are giving MK a bad name by taking out the gore and the REAL fatalities, but a lot of people really did want to see that. Look at half the people the good and the bad. They're killers, and who cares if Superman gets his head ripped off, I would love to see that because I can't stand him anyways lol. And Kano's heart rip, I mean come on, taking out some of that stuff makes MK have more of a softer side but hey thats just my opinion I would have shot for the M rated version over this, but I guess the kids would cry if they see one of there super heroes get ripped to shreds, so keep it fair. I just hope they come out with a new MK game by itself, not against DC or Marvel, just straight up Mortal Kombat. I mean Marvel Vs. DC might have been better than this but people have to remember what MK is all about, fight to the death and finish off your opponents in the end. But like I said that's just me.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Gamehead622 A very very very great game
This game is wonderful it is a great combination of MK and DC. And if you pay attention Im pretty sure the creators took the best characters from each side then put 2 of the best girls on each side! oh and there is 1 princess on each side but Ima let you figure that out OK ill give you a hint we all know on DC side Catwoman isnt a princess shes a thief so its wonder woman and on MK side its between Kintana and Sonya you should hear who the princess is on a cutscene on DCs side of the story when scorpion is trying to find her. But basicly this game is 10 they just should of had more unlockables the movies are obtained by playing arcade and the ppl the only ones you can unlock are Dark and Sha Im not tellin the rest of there names but when there unlocked press RB and they will pop up. Good luck! P.S. the hardest one you will face is Dark Kahn he is a fusion of the two names i didnt complete on DC you beat him with superman and MK with Raiden
