Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for having friends over Not bad! Its monopoly with different style games, 3D pieces, 3D boards. All in all good for having friends over who just want to relax and have a good time and be entertained. Highly recommended for Family Fun night! Has the ability to customize rules for more fun or hrs more of game play, or bring games to a faster win! Online multiplayer for when no one in the house wants to play with ya. DLC content is 3 additional boards 2 are 3D, 1 is a classic style board, and the rest is a few game pieces. The Monopoly store is the place where you may buy those items with winnings from the game or ms points. I'm more of a glue me to the tv type ie halo, forza, tdu2, ac. Though this game offers a way to relax and enjoy your company or just tone it down and still be entertained. I RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANYONE WITH A SIGNIFICANT OTHER OR KID(S).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from avoid I'm a huge monopoly fan and purchase it for every system i own. I purchased this game yesterday and unfortunately it is horrible. It is the lack of options that sucks the most. Many people play monopoly and everybody has different ways they like to play but it seem as if the developers want to force you to play their way. First off there is no option to turn off auctions. I don't like to auction properties, I play if you land on it you can buy it and if you don't want to then you don't and that is that. Also, my friend and I wanted to play a game and add 1 computer player but we couldn't, we were forced to add 2 computer players for a total of 4. Ridiculous if you ask me. The computer players make noise much like "The Sims" but a lot more frequent and it is extremely annoying. Driving around the board is interesting for about 5 minutes but the frequent stops make for a very very long game and you end up skipping right to where you want to go. I had very low expectations for this game after the first monopoly for 360 (which i also purchased) but somehow they still managed to not live up to my expectations. If you want to play monopoly for 360 do yourself a favor and pick up a used copy of the first one but I would recommend getting it for the cpu. The cpu version I bought about 10 years ago had all the options I wanted. I won't go as far as to say this is a blatant attempt at grabbing money but i do feel that not much effort was put in to the creation of this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from worth it for $40 Monopoly is my favorite board game and I always purchase it for every video game system that I have owned. The first one for the 360 was good but it seemed to be missing some of the options that the computer versions had previously. That kind of baffled me being that it was a newer version. Judging from the videos I have watched this one also seems to be missing some options such as, I don't want to auction properties. I play if you land on it and you don't want to buy it then you don't have to and that is that. In the last game if you didn't want to buy a property it automatically went to auction. While this may be an official rule I believe the option should be there to change it if you so desire. Other then that one little nuisance I would say that it is pretty fun. I mean, its monopoly, you should already know what to expect....Oh, and please don't call it the reading railroad, like I heard one the game developers do in a video. It is pronounced Redding, as in Reading, PA. Can't believe that somebody who made the game wouldn't know this. The properties are actual streets in Atlantic City New Jersey which is not too far from Reading, PA. A good game to buy for some old skool fun at only $40
