I thought the story line was pretty good, had some ups and downs. The graphics was alright, but considering it came from bandai and namco it could've been better. I thought it was too flashy because of the moves, how it took a while to initiate a move and the chaining and stuff was really slow. Attacks were usually slow, AI's were annoying, and I felt the bosses were too easy.
GOOD GAME FOR THE STORY!!!
THIS WAS A GAME THAT TOUCHED MY HEART. I HAVE PLAYED THE ORIGINAL GAME AS WELL ON PS2 AND WHILE I LOVE AND OWN BOTH GAMES, IM LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER GAME TO FOLLOW. HERES HOPING FOR MAGNA CARTA 3!!! ANYWAY MAGNA CARTA 2 WAS AN AMAZING GAME FOR THE STORY. AS I SAID BEFORE IT TOUCHED MY HEART... GREAT... PLOT! =)
Need to buy another copy
Magna Carta 2 is a stellar example of what RPGs should be like today. Lovable characters, beautiful combat system, steep difficulty curve, and a politically incorrect plot. The only thing I really wasn't crazy about was the voice acting, and even then, it wasn't awful, just a little annoying at most.
the gameplay is amazing. the voice acting and soundtrack is awesome. the story is interesting. the graphics are awesome and sidequests actually help. it gives a lot of experience.
if you like frustration
This game boasts good graphics, and a moderate story line and character development. If you like this game then go and get it. But, the AI in this game is terrible, half the time your party members just stand and idle. They don't do anything but stand or back away and then just stand. While the enemy kills you and your party. The enemy AI is spot on, not your party AI. The AI of the party is worse then that of Kingdom Hearts. Frustration is the key to this game...if you have the patience of a saint, then go for it, get this game.
One of my favorite RPG's out this gen, I recommend it to any one who likes JRPG's. The graphics are okay but nothing that will ruin the experience.
Magnacarta 2 was a really great game i ever played, well me being a JRPG fan and all, i would expect to like it anyway. the combat system was pretty descent, and the storyline was dramatic, just the kind of things i would expect from a JRPG.
I'm a huge fan of rpgs. I love runescape, oblivion, fallout, and mass effect. But shouldn't have the honor to be in the category as those games. There's terrible voice acting, a boring story, and nothing to do. Buy skyrim when it comes out, or buy oblivion, or fallout.
Great JRPG or KRPG.
Magna carta 2 is a great and fun game to play. I would like them to mkake another magna carta thats how much i enjoyed this game. The battle system is a bit annoying at first but when your characters get stronger and you get used to it its seens to be great. The voice acting is very well one. The story line is great but seem to be lacking at first, but it gets better later on. The achievements arent hard to get rather easy, but seem to need to paythrough to get them all. Great game and well worth the $20 game stop is selling it for, its worth more but hey haha.
Voices from Bleach Anime
The voice acting of the main characters were all from the anime Bleach, English dub. So I really enjoyed the voices. The game-play wasn't all that though. The overdrive mess was really frustrating even with chaining and chain break. The AI of the party was horrendous, at times they would just walk around with their weapons out and not attack, no matter what setting I had then on. The storyline was so-so and easily predictable. Plus the side quests and mini-games were very lacking.I recently purchased this for the xbox 360 and it had weapons I could download and OMG did they make me godly, so the game was a breeze. If you just want something to play this game will keep you busy for maybe a week of casual play, but it has no replay value.
