Rated 10 out of 10 by Slick 404 ONE OF THE BEST RPG'S SINCE LOST ODYSSEY
When I picked up this game I didn't know what to expect, then I saw it was not a complete turn based battle system, it was complete Motion, if you are fighting and you think you will loose, just stop fighting and move away and that's it, you don't fight any more, they persue you for a few steps but that's it. Graphics are amazing, controlls are great, the only thing I feel its a bit on rails, you have a set path to take and that's it, you can explore and kill level up but nothing you can just go from town to town when ever you want and do what ever you want, its a good and a bad thing because often at times with other rpg games I would get lost, but not with this game. I would def recomend you buy it and see for your self, if you are a true RPG fan you will love this game, as for now I started Dragon Age Origins, now that is a massive game. I recomend it as well
Rated 10 out of 10 by Akonikun One of the few GOOD RPGs on the 360
I've been looking for a good RPG lately and I got this game quite a while ago. I still play it after beating it x amount of times. The storyline is fantastic and easy to understand. It's not impossible to play, but it's something that you can't play half asleep. The controls are simple and fairly basic and the interface is pretty clear. Unfortunately, I don't really like the voice acting, especially for the attacks that require a cutscene, it gets really repetitive after a while. Every character gets to hold 2 different types of weapons, ie one hand sword or two hand, wand or staff, etc. The graphics are impressive with the exception of this one REALLY annoying glitch, but it doesn't occur that often. The game lasts for a hefty amount of time, but the storyline can keep you glued to it. I'll admit, it's not an AMAZING game, but it's above average without a doubt.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Noad Best RPG for xbox
This game is by far the best RPG on the xbox. With a great story line i suggest it to anyone. Having to say that it has some ups and downs the game is just so amazing. It has a few minor downs such as up the-ass consumption of the potions etc. And it is sadly slightly short. But the story is deep and is great for anyone. It doesn't have many cut scenes its mostly just 1 on 1 talking between characters but there is never really a time where you have to read it. A good recycle of anime characters such as Ichigo from bleach and Holland from Eureka Seven as Alex. Its by far an amazing game so good words cant really explain it. The game is slightly short which is a little depressing but no harm done everything else makes up for the story such as the suspense in the story. Magnacarta 2 gets a 9 out of 10
Rated 0 out of 10 by Soulja251 YESSSS FINALLY!
Japan has saved us with another great RPG. I have been waiting for the longest for something to come out on the system, I thought I might had to drop the Xbox360 and go back over to the PS3 because of the lack of "GOOD RPG'S" with the Xbox. Well hopeful the developer's took the time out to make it worth it's time, if not its going to be a real upset. That means the PS3 will win again when it comes to great RPG's. So far Fallout 3 was the best thing that ever came to console, and they need to keep up the good work. And why haven't anyone came out with a TMNT RPG game which will be awsome if someone would take the time out and put the time into it make it, not Action RPG, but RPG like Lost Oddessy and Final Fanasty Turn-Based RPG. You know what I am going to write Komani about that ideal. Who knows
Rated 10 out of 10 by role-playing fan Great story
I love role player games but have run into several I didn't like due to how unnatural the controls seemed which distracted me from what was going on. This game was great everything was set up so in battle it becomes second nature to do things. I loved this game. I didn't play the first one but you could figure out what was going on pretty easily and I loved the story line because it had some twists and romance so it kept me entertained and I always wanted to figure out what happened next. The game was plenty long enough but ended suddenly it seemed and you really have to pay attention and explore to get all the side quests done because you cant do some once you get beyond a certain point in the game. It has been my favorite game that I have played so far.
Rated 10 out of 10 by titan09 Best RPG PERIOD! & best 7th gen game
There is nothing bad about this game. It took me about 40-45 hrs on my play time that it recorded for me to beat it about 2 or 3 times in actuality.
Superb storyline! Once I picked this game up I didn't touch another game until I beat it. Great gameplay, lots of moves to learn. I really like that its real time. About 6 characters to play and learn their moves. You play 3 at a time. I would say that the developer really took their time with this game. It's original and I've played more than 40 rpgs common and uncommon. Definite buy.
To me this is one of those games that I will keep playing it over and over again throughout the years.
such as streets of rage 2,sonic 3 & knuckles, project justice, powerstone, and a few others.
and a few others.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Bijakz Voices from Bleach Anime
The voice acting of the main characters were all from the anime Bleach, English dub. So I really enjoyed the voices. The game-play wasn't all that though. The overdrive mess was really frustrating even with chaining and chain break. The AI of the party was horrendous, at times they would just walk around with their weapons out and not attack, no matter what setting I had then on. The storyline was so-so and easily predictable. Plus the side quests and mini-games were very lacking.I recently purchased this for the xbox 360 and it had weapons I could download and OMG did they make me godly, so the game was a breeze. If you just want something to play this game will keep you busy for maybe a week of casual play, but it has no replay value.
Rated 7 out of 10 by ZOEY VS THE ZOMBIE Just Good Enough
I have never played the first game so jumping into this second game did not make me feel that I was missing out on anything because the story goes over the history of Magna Carta in the game. The cinemas and the cut scenes are great to watch and the characters especially the women are exceptionally drawn and only because of this I was able to play the game from beginning to end. I don't like the battle system because of the over heat factor, which after hitting too many attacks at once leaves your character vulnerable, and even with the chain break ability it does not catch on as at all as a real time battle should. The character skill upgrades are almost useless because you only get so many skill points to use between two weapon types per character and well when using one weapon you lose the abilities you unlock with the other weapon unless you switch type or figure which weapon type you favor the most. Overall I felt that most of my time was spent running around vast areas and slaying the same monsters over and over again and finally a fighting a flop of a last boss. This game is similar to another rpg, I will not mention, in a lot of ways but when it counts, the cinemas and the beautiful female characters and the mediocre story telling made this game just good enough for a very boring weekend. 7/10 for having great looking female characters
Rated 9 out of 10 by Ropihl Great Game
Bought this game looking for a casual rpg to spend my time. My pick hit the mark as this is one interesting and fun experience. The speaking animations were a bit different, but voice acting and lip syncing were greatly put together. The story is pretty linear but takes some drastic twists towards the end. Battles happen right on the field and keeps you on your toes, as you can gain immediate control of all your party members. With the use of Kan generated by the character or the environment instead of the overdone mana or MP, is a step in a new and good direction. Overall, this game is one that any RPG lover should look into.
Rated 10 out of 10 by jokersoblivion Great JRPG or KRPG.
Magna carta 2 is a great and fun game to play. I would like them to mkake another magna carta thats how much i enjoyed this game. The battle system is a bit annoying at first but when your characters get stronger and you get used to it its seens to be great. The voice acting is very well one. The story line is great but seem to be lacking at first, but it gets better later on. The achievements arent hard to get rather easy, but seem to need to paythrough to get them all. Great game and well worth the $20 game stop is selling it for, its worth more but hey haha.
