Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing. when this game came out I thought it would be really bad. I was wrong, everyone who says this game has no franchise or career has not played this game. it has both. they are just saved under the sam game mode. this is an amazing game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Though there are obvious flaws in this game, it was still a lot of fun. The physics engine has some flaws but for the most part makes for more realistic gameplay...the passing game is also much better...very good game

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boring. Boring. Boring I've had this game ever since it came out and it is just not fun to play at times. Playing online is horrendously bad because most players onside kick every kickoff, go for 2 point conversions, and constantly run plays that are really hard to cover. The other game modes in this game are also trash. I think this game was better the Madden 12, but Madden needs to make major improvements for Madden 25

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Another Disc Wasted As far as Madden games go, they are mostly no different from the previous title and change is brought overtime. But with this one they decided to make noticeable changes that tried to give gamers a different experience from Madden 12, but it didn't work out that well. The gameplay appears to be the same as 12, but seems to be lacking fluidity. It appears they been trying to work on the appearance rather than the factors that make the game enjoyable. Just an overall poor title.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This franchise needs rebuilding! This game is pretty dissapointing compared to the previous Maddens. Any hardcore gamers could find this game dissapointing and not worth making another one. Franchise mode is changed to Coach Mode but not the same control as you had in previous years. The graphics are decent but doesn't match up to even Madden NFL 11's graphics. The new physics engine make players like ragdolls after the play is over and sometimes during games funky and weird animations just happen which takes away from the feel of big tackles and collisions. Alot of this game looks pre-alpha like they didn't have enough time to finish. Such as a stadium like Lucas Oil, the lighting in the game is awful. A stadium with a retractable roof doesn't have the nice sunshine anymore that would creep into the stadium like Madden NFL 12 and artificial lighting messes up the colors on jerseys like the Cowboys away jerseys. This commetary is pretty dull, they have no clue whats going on except first downs and touchdowns. Phil Simms will constantly complain about you not making a good throw even if the throw was great and it was the reciever fault. At that point, I turn the commentators way down! I rarely play this game as the replay value is bad. If your a Madden hardcore fan DON'T GET THIS GAME! This is very dissapointing hopeful Madden NFL 25 can build their franchise back up and match up to at least the previous few titles of years ago.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not to pleasing I had no idea that franchise mode would not be in the game when I bought this game. It was the biggest disappointment for me in 2012. I have played every Madden and I now find myself playing Madden 12 so I can actually play a franchise. The commentators seem to be insulting me with everything they say. If I run on 3rd down he says why am I not to aggressive but if I pass he says why are they so aggressive. Madden 25 better step their game up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Game. I got this game for my birthday, including a new Xbox 360 slim special edition. I was so excited that I got it, and I immediately played. According to my opinions, I say it was a pretty good game, it wasn't the best ever, but I enjoyed it, I would recommend this to someone who is a football or sports- attic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst game ever worst game ever even tho i played the demo only, but i do have a suggestion. EA should get all the rejected teams that tried to get into the nfl should be in the next madden (not 25).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love It, but disappointed Madden is a fun football game, but does not have the most exciting features like it used to. Superstar mode is not very exciting, you can't play all positions, and it's not appealing. For instance, if you create and play as a receiver, you have to worry about hiking the ball to start the paly and make audible changes. It's like you have to be the quarterback before you think about your position. At times, the entire screen does not show your created player, making it hard to figure out where your player is. Playing aganist family and friends, however; can be enjoyable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I got this in December and it has no franchise mode. You don't get roster updates unless you pay for the online pass or something. I don't care about that. I want rosters, franchise, and better music. If 25 isn't good enough, I will sell them both.
Date published: 2013-05-08
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Although the graphics are good on this game, the gameplay is very rough with unrealistic things happening. For instance after almost every play is over you will see players tripping and falling all over each other. I also didn't like how EA changed the franchise mode. I would hope they bring the franchise mode from Madden '11 back. Poor game that I don't play anymore.
Date published: 2013-04-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hands down the worst Madden ever. This game is so outrageously unrealistic it hurts, it's quite sad that this is the only football game that uses active rosters, because in my opinion this game play is so bad that any football game tat was made by someone with half a brain and used today's roster could seriously challenge EA sports' Madden.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from its Okay I like this game but its really easy and you have a limited choice of gameplay. I would maybe get this game if your really into sports...
Date published: 2013-04-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a "10" The revved up graphics and game play is cool, but no Franchise Mode = No "10"; a solid "7". That was the whole enjoyment for me, but sadly it is no more.
Date published: 2013-04-03
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Freezing issues The game freezes there was not enough effort put into the development of the game. The game and graphics are good those are the only positives.
Date published: 2013-03-26
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Freezing issues The game freezes and has few gameplay options. The gameplay is not bad just developed with not much effort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needed more When you get a new EA sports game in this era you see the graphics are great but the game modes like franchise and superstar stink. Because one year EA adds something great to it and then the next year its gone, so why take something out of madden that makes it better. for instance like the draft combine, getting new agents as your career progresses, being interviewed by the press as the season of football plays, getting in the pro bowl, make franchises that the player owns move to any of the 50 states, live in a appartment, using old emblems from the 32 NFL teams in creating a team, and finally creating fans, all of these were a nice additions to madden and are now gone. what happend EA?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best footbal Game ever. this game is really cool and i don't have i am saying is a good game because when I went to Best Buy i started playing it I said it was cool no saving money so I can buy it in any GameStop in the u.s.a. I really want that football game
Date published: 2013-03-12
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same as every other madden I was so happy i won the superbowl. Yay... Then the game frooze... Just like every other madden. Same glitches, same everything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very addicting for Madden fans! Madden 12 was almost total bust for the Madden franchise, but thankfully redeemed themselves in this game, adding new mechanics, game modes, and gameplay! Madden Ultimate team was a successor on Madden 12 but from playing both Madden 12 has the advantage. But if you're looking for a long lasting single player mode, than connected careers is your type of mode. Overall a very addicting game!
Date published: 2013-03-11
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its ok. I would recommend this to people who love good graphics. But there is no franchise mode and superstar and replaced it with connected carrers so if u like franchise your better off getting 12 or keeping 12.
Date published: 2013-03-08
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent The gameplay in Madden is pretty good. But, there are many things I was disappointed with in the game. Franchise mode needs to come back. The Connected Careers mode is downright horrid. Its just an online version of Career mode. I was very disappointed with the Career mode itself. It costs too much to make one attribute rise by one point. The Career mode is very boring. At this point, 2k Sports should make a football game.
Date published: 2013-02-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Madden NFl 13 is Awesome Madden NFL 13 is pretty cool. I like how you can do SuperBowl mode. Of course Madden 12 had that to. But I only have madden 13 and 10 for XBOX360. Madden09 for Wii and Madden05 for nintendo DS. I don't know what else to say but to buy it.
Date published: 2013-02-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Verry great I love the game this was the first football game i ever bought. the game is just great and i would highly recommend it
Date published: 2013-01-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way to freshen up a Franchise For the last few years all anyone would say when Madden came out was how it was the same thing year after year. They listened changed thing up and now people talk about how they want that repetitiveness they complained about before. This game is great. The online career that you can manage from a computer is amazing. The graphics and gameplay are better than ever. The game face feature that you can go to easports.com/gameface and create a gameface of yourself that imports to all EA 13 games is cool. It's different in the menu which, can take a little while to get used to but as far as Madden games go this, in my opinion, is the best one in years. Don't give in to the bad reviews. Get this game and learn it like its a whole new game. Dont go in expecting the same old thing from past years. I love this game!
Date published: 2013-01-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is fun this game is very fun. I love the ultimate team it is so fun. I love buying and selling players. I play this game more than my other games even black ops 2
Date published: 2013-01-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!!! This game is awesome, I mean there is nothing bad about it. The online mode is awesome, you can have a really cool franchise controlling the coach or the player. The graphics are really good to. When I play the game when I get tackled it feels like I am watching a real football game. It is just that real. There is nothing bad about this game.
Date published: 2013-01-23
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Average I liked this game dont get me wrong. But it has some major issues. To start the tackling is horrible and isnt realistic at all. When you throw the ball there isnt a spirel on it. I also have not figured out how to import a road to glory player or even if u can. But in career mode u can play as legend which is pretty cool and you can pick where your drafted which is not cool they took the whole draft thing outta the game. Another thing that was dumb was when you punted the ball it was only a good kick about 25% of the time. Seems like madden games keep getting worse and worse each year.
