Product Details:

Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring is an action sports game based on Mexican sport of Lucha Libre' style wrestling. Featuring all of the most popular luchadores' from Mexico's premiere wrestling federation, the game offers fans of existing wrestling franchises an evolved and unique gaming experience which is more acrobatic and fast-paced than those of existing wrestling franchises. The game also features an evolved popularity-based scoring system which allows players to unlock increasingly acrobatic and devastating moves based on the user's ability to gain the support of the audience through the execution of taunts aimed at humiliating one's opponent. Whether playing as any of the 30 real-life AAA wrestlers or as a character they have created themselves, gamers will find the experience offered in Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring to be a true evolution of the wrestling genre.

  • Innovative Scoring System: Unique to Lucha Libre is the fact that wrestlers need to gain the support of the crowd in order to win the match - as players increase their popularity they will be able to unlock progressively more deadly moves which they will be able to inflict upon their opponent.
  • Mexican Lucha Libre Based Gameplay: Whether playing as a Tecnico (Good Guy) or a Rudo (Bad Guy), the Lucha Libre style of wrestling features a fast and acrobatic style of gameplay in which gamers employ a sophisticated yet fun system of strikes/counter-strikes, extreme aerial assaults and character-specific specialty moves in order to defeat their foe.
  • Real Mexican Luchadores: Gamers may play as any of 30 different real-life luchadores featured in the AAA League. All fighters retain their own signature movements, taunts, and alignment with either the Tecnicos or the Rudos.
  • Authentic Mexican Wrestling Venues: In Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring matches will take place in the same arenas used by the AAA, as well as, locations which are representative of the Mexican culture and Lucha Libre legend.
  • Customizable Character Editor: Featuring a never before seen Mask Editor', the game's Create a Fighter' feature allows players to design their own luchador from the mask down while choosing from a massive collection of customizable clothes, accessories, body characteristics and clan allegiance.
  • Online Gameplay featuring Mask vs. Hair mode: The game offers intense and competitive online matches for up to four players where users can fight as any of the 30 existing luchadores or as a character which they have created themselves. In this mode, wrestlers wager their mask or hair against their opponents in a winner-take-all battle against humiliation!
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Freestyle Wrestling High Flies I enjoyed this game. It was cool to see some of the greatest wrestlers in the industry. The gameplay was a little sloppy and confusing and the storyline was kind of corny, but for me at least, it made up with the nice selection of wrestlers to fight with and a pretty in depth create a wrestler feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from just give it a chance this game is not perfect but its something knew they were trying it still has a lot of colorfull wrestlers like el tigre silver king and so on. but i can say its better than tna cause the graphics in this game are pretty good a lot of detail, but i can understand not a lot of people are fans of the mexican wrestling all i can say is give it a chance its a game worth getting for 10 or 12 dollars so just give it a chance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Than Expected I originally made a preorder on this game for the ps3. Well i sold my ps3 cause it blows, so i moved my preorder from heros del ring to dead space 2. Now i got back into wrestling and wanted the game, and i knew it wouldnt cost my an arm and a leg. Well i got the game and played it for an hour and wanted more, so i got up extra early and played it again(i felt like a kid on christmas) the characters it gave you to start with were all characters i was familiar with, so i was happy, then you play through the story mode, which could be better, but it was alright because it seemed like every match id unlock something new. And after about 8 hours(or less) total i have everyone except 2 people unlocked. The game feels like a fighter more than a wrestling, almost like def jam vandetta, without Funkmaster Flex on the commentary. But overall the game was impressive and great change from wwe svr series.
