LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
May the Force be with you...
Overall, this is a pretty good game. It's really fun to play, especially with other people to control one of the other characters on your side. My only problem with that would be the camera when you move too far apart. It messes people up, but it's only a minor thing.
It also does well sticking to the Star Wars story line, with the added LEGO-esque features, of course. The music works alongside the action just fine, and the customization is great. The game is basically a combination of the first two, so if you'd rather have prequel or original trilogy exclusive characters walking around, just buy those games instead.
Overall, great Star Wars game. It's nowhere near as great as Star Wars Battlefront games for example, but it's definitely more kid-friendly. It's too bad that LEGO Star Wars and the Clone Wars series are taking becoming more of what people see of Star Wars recently. It's definitely not as preferable as seeing a more realistic-looking Darth Vader or Han Solo on shirts and stuff, but all that is beside the point.
I definitelly recommend the game. Enjoy, and "may the Force be with you".
The Best Lego Game
This is the LEGO game that made LEGO games. I had the original Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars II for the Gamecube and I spent endless hours playing them. I only traded them in because I got this game for the Wii, and I recently got it as a gift for the XBOX 360. For the wii, the motion control is not what I thought it would be, but it's still fun. For the XBOX 360, the graphics are better and the achievements are all attainable (unlike the ones for other games that are like IMPOSSIBLE to get). I spent hours and hours with this game. Everyone who played with LEGOs at a younger age, and likes star wars, should play this game. It's sooo fun. You play through all six episodes, plus you can unlock more characters. If you enjoy the original 6 episodes, play this game. However, the new game coming out, the Clone Wars one. I'm not expecting much of that one. It's based on the cartoon series, that is a complete joke. I highly recommend this product.
Best Lego Game
This is, to begin with, the best lego videogame. Why is it? Well let's start witht he graphics. They are just average lego-ish graphics. Good visuals, but nothing special. The gameplay is the best since your running around and beating up storm-troopers most the time, which is very satisfying. You can create and buy your own characters, and there are many possible creations. There are a lot of levels, ranging from every Star Wars movie created. I am not a big Star Wars fan, but I like the series and using lightsabers and lazer guns are so fun to use. The game has full co-op, offline and online. The gameplay is very fun and the controls work. Well, I guess there isn't anything else to say about the gamwe, so let's go on to the pros and cons. PROS: Fun gameplay, Star Wars adds a very fun mix, great co-op, leangthy adventure. CONS: Can get very repetitive, sometimes the game gives no clue on what to do or where to go. CONCLUSION: If your going to get a LEGO game, get this one. If you are looking for a good platformer, this is good to pick up too. The force was strong with this game.
One of the best rated E games for the 360!
I usually don’t play that many rated E games, because they always seem low budget. I cant believe how good this game is for a rated E game. I play games that most would consider to be hardcore and this is a better game than most of them. There’s to much to say about what makes this game so good. The gameplay is fun, the story is really funny, it has tons of levels to play though, and it has all the good Star Wars music to go with it. This is overall one of the best rated E games for the 360 on the market. The lasting appeal for this game is really high with all the unlockables and secrets found within the levels. Its nice to play a well designed fun game without all the Rated M stuff for a change. I look forward to playing all the Lego games now. They have become one of my favorite types of video games that I would highly recommend to anyone.
An outstanding game
This game is perfect, a comical retelling of the Star Wars saga using Lego Mini-figs. The cut scenes retell the story with a bit of tongue in cheek humor that in and of itself makes the game worth playing through. The levels have two kinds of puzzles, ones that must be solved to advance through the level, and others that can not be solved in story mode, but that you have to come back and solve in free play mode using various characters you unlock as you play through the game. That in itself means you'll play through every level at least twice, and enjoy it. Add to that the various challenge missions, and you have uniquely satisfying gaming experience that both hard core and casual gamers should be able to enjoy. Multi-player on this game is innovative as well, with the ability for a second player to pick up a controller at any time and join in the fun, and just as easily, one of the players can put down the controller and walk off while the other player continues on with the game. This game is a must have for your library.
Great game for the family!
This game really surprised me. I bought it for my six year old son because it looked like a pretty cool kids game. I never really took much thought into actually sitting down and playing it. Until my son couldn’t get past some of the levels on his own and needed some help. Once I picked up the controller and started playing I thought well this is fun. Then I keep playing and playing and I started to notice little things like a in-game clock, some very funny cut scenes, off or online co-op, and the best part of the game that I liked. Every mission felt different. As I played through the missions I never got the experience of repetitive game play that I sometimes get with other games. Most of the missions seem to bring a new experience to the game. I’m not a huge fan of the Star Wars thing, but I have seen the movies. This game follows very closely to almost every part in each of the episodes. I’m talking six missions per episode for a total of 36 levels not including unlockable bonus and bounty hunter levels. One of the achievements is 100% completion. Good luck with that. You can’t just go through the mission one time and find every thing on the first try. The game is setup to where you have to beat that mission as the story plays it. Then you can go back with any character you’ve unlocked and get all the hidden canisters and bricks for some cool unlockables if you can find them. Some of them can be quite a pain to find. I’ve counted 360 hidden Lego canisters and 160 red bricks to be obtained. WOW! Thats going to take a while. I've also counted 128 unlockable characters some with there own unique abilities, 21 ships, 45 optional cheats or extras. I don’t know about you people, but I bought this game brand new for half the price of the other games on the self. In fact I would say this game is so fun and addicting that after knowing what I know now. I would be happy to pay the full price of a new one for this game. I didn’t find the game all that challenging as far as the missions and boss battles where concerned, but there was so much content to the game that I still had fun with it. Lets face it I don’t think Lego had hard-core gamers in mind when they made this one. The controls where so easy that a child could pick it up. The graphics where ok for what the game is. I mean their not amazing or anything, but few games are. The Interface was so easy to navigate a child could do it. The Length is what I thought was really cool about this game. Just tons of levels and things to unlock. The story and sound. Well its Star Wars people. I think we all know about the Story and Sound when it comes to Star Wars.”The best” The only thing that I noticed that seemed to be a flaw was that the game would freeze up for a few seconds from time to time. Seems to be a pretty common thing in video games now days, so no surprise there. For now when I need a break from all the “what the hecks” on Call Of Duty and all the lag on Halo I put this game in to cool down and try to unlock some achievements. This game is rated E for everyone and I believe this game really is for everyone. Not just for kids. Although I know some people are just to hard-core for this game I still believe if you haven’t played this game you should. I believe it to be one of the most entertaining games I’ve ever played. If your looking for a great game for the family with little violence and no cussing. Then this game is a must for you and your family.
LEGO my star wars!
This is a really great game for kids and adults usally most really good games these days are rated M like HALO3 gears of war call of duty and everything else but this game is fun for everyone and did i also mention that most poeple like online multiplayer now well this game dosent need a M rating or online multiplayer to be good but it does have co op i guess its two players but anyways its just a blast to play i love collecting stuff theres plenty of stuff to collect like lego parts to build statues to look at the plaza coins and other stuff scattered around the levels and with the coins you can buy all the characters and the characters include everyone from the star wars movies they havent missed anybody and they all have fun weapons to use like guns and lightsabers the controls are not flawed at all the graphics are great (for legos) and it is really long each chapter takes a while to beat and the puzzles in the levels are fun and can be chalenging and if you like achievments these are easy to get so please get this game!
best star wars so far!
this is an awesome game for the 360! there are alot of charactors to unlock and buy! if you get 10 gold bricks you can unlock a place called lego city and you can build houses destroy houses and ride animals plus ride vehicles and get to 1,000,000,000 coins! if you have this game for the ds here is the cheat for 3,000,000,000 coins (no lie real cheat) here it is at the main menu, press START,START,DOWN,DOWN,LEFT,LEFT,UP,UP,SELECT. (this cheat can only be used once!) and that is what my cheat code book said titled "cheat code overload". this game is very fun and you cannot use the cheat for three mllion studs for the 360! this game is awesome and the best so i hope you like it!
Lego fun at its best!
I'll be honest, I never thought I would like this game but I have to say I LOVE it! Being able to play through every movie using the main characters in them is great. The graphics look great for a game like this. The only thing I wish was different is character voices but that is here nor there. If you like Legos, Star Wars or have ever thought about trying this game out, go for it!
This is the best Star Wars Game I've ever played. The graphics are amazing and it's so fun to play. It follows along with each of the Star Wars movies with alot of funny parts added to make you laugh. It has a ton of unlockable characters from the movies and is full of many challenges that will keep you coming back for more. Each level contains different goals and items to collect. The more items you collect the more characters you can unlock. Some of the enemies are challenging so when you pass a mission it feels like you really accomplished something. The music is also very good and it has the classic Star Wars feel to it like it does in the movies. This is one of those games that you can play for 15 minutes or 2 hours and still have a ton of fun playing. Star Wars Complete Saga Rocks!!!
