I got the game the first day it came out. After playing it for an hour and turnning off the system to go to bed, and the next morning when I went to play it, it brought up a disk error. So I follow the directions, and then tried some of my other games new and old to see if it was my console. Then I went back to Gamestop and got another brand new disk. Played it for about an hour then shut off the game, and when I went to turn it back on it did the exact same thing again, I am in the process of messaging the developers and telling them about this glich in hopes that they will fix it, since my boys love this game. This is a programming glich. As soon as they fix this glich it will be an awesome game. The graphics are amazing, I like the fact that there are some many different characters that you can play as. The bad guys are a little to easy to beat in my opinion, I like how you can drive or fly around the city. Once they fix this glich it will be a great game.

There are 15 levels in the story which you'll most likely go back in free play and get the hidden collectables. There is also are pretty big Gotham City which has places to get vehicles, discovering fighting and then buying villians and unlocking other vehicles and superheroes, collecting gold bricks by completing puzzles and challenges. My only complaint is how hard flying is and landing on rooftoops, also that batman can't even glide unless he has the sonar suit. Batman is always supposed to glide. Also if they couldn't included the Batman Arkham City style grapple gun where you look up and you click RB and it zips you up to the roof. You also get gold bricks by rescuing citizens in peril and completing story levels and getting "True Superhero" in levels which means you acquire a certain amount of lego coins while a meter fills up like in all other lego games. I really enjoy LEGO games and this is probably the best I've ever played. The first LEGO star wars and the first Batman are my favotites. New addition are split acreen which is very nice! Also voice acting which is really good cause the cutacens with no talking got old.

I got this game a few days ago after reading the reviews.I thought it was a cool idea Legos in a video game.I got this also to get better with my controller (I am used to the wii-mote)and I don't play all the time or alot and I suck at MW3 but like it lol.I also wanted something that wasn't too hard also.I started playing it and couldn't stop it is easy to a degree but you have to figure out where things are ect.It is stratagy also.As a comic super hero fan I love it.This game is long also and I have met a few heros superman and flash but haven't unlocked them yet.I took this to a buddys house to check it out and we played it from 9pm to 3 am non stop his girlfriend played it and really liked it too.I am in my mid 40's so this isn't a game just for kids but it is a great family or party game.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Matt01 A Promising Look At The Future Of LEGO...
For starters, I'm not big into LEGO games, mainly because they are commercially geared toward a much younger demographic, but after seeing this and discovering that the characters would be given a voice for the first time in LEGO video game history, I had to have it. Sure, my main attraction did stem from being a huge Batman fan, but in all honesty this was actually a really enjoyable game. The graphics exceeded that of its predecessor and the game play has been greatly improved. I would recommend this to any Batman fan, regardless of age, I mean if I'm 18 and enjoyed it, I don't see why anyone else wouldn't. Yeah, it's no addition to the Arkham series, but it's Batman...isn't that enough?! Give it a good solid playthrough, you might surprise yourself.
Rated 10 out of 10 Very fun!!
I love the lego games, I get them and jam on them with my children 12 & 15 years old. We all love them and Lego Batman 2 is no exception. The added open world aspect rocks. They have added many cool new features. Because of the new heroes you can play and the open world they probably didn't have much room left on the disk for more levels, where Lego Batman 1 had 15 levels per side, (Heroes/Villians)30 total, this one has 15(they seem larger, yet maybe it's just the checkpoints that make it seem that way), the checkpoints are a nice addition. I did notice that there is DLC now, and with the franchise being so popular I wouldn't doubt that they have plans to add more levels this way. If you liked the first game you'll love this one.

The game is really fun! If your a fan of the Lego game this game is great for you as it introduces a bunch of new, fun features like flying and exploring an open world! If you are also someone who goes for achievements this game has easy achievements that aren't annoying to get. I did come across some problems in the game involves characters getting stuck on things and in the open world it can be very confusing were the gold bricks even with the gold brick finder. Even with some of these bugs I was able to get past them get all of the collectibles and beat the games. An amazing game in the Lego franchise and hopefully open world be in upcoming Lego games (crossed fingers for openworld Lord of the Rings!)

I got this game the day it came out and I've beaten it. Its really addicting, once you start you cannot stop. It is just outstanding. When the first LEGO Batman came out I said they should add all the superheroes and they did. I was so happy when I heard about this I did not want to be disappointed and I wasn't. If you want to try a fun game to play. Try this game out. Another thing that's cool is that they finally made the LEGO's talk, no more grunting. The story is different from before games, before you mindlessly walk into a door to start your mission. Now you physically go to where your mission is going to be. I think anyone that was into LEGO's as a kid should give this game a shot.

This is a great this is the best lego game i have ever played but it has the shortest storyline i have ever played. I let my friend borrow it on thursday and he beat it the next day. This game is fun but the loading can be a pain when you are going around the city wasting alot of time. This is a great game but not worth all the money 10 to 20 dollars cheaper would be better - Pros: Great Graphics,Great Characters,Great storyline but short Cons: After it is beat it is boring, the autosave sucks in this game ever time do anything buy a character, get a brick, buy a vehicle save someone or open a batcomputer the saving takes forever, somtimes it glitches and some of the city is not there

Yes I have played Lego Batman and it is not what I expected compared to Rocksteady's Batman games as they are what Batman games are supposed to be and are totally worth the purchase and are incredible games but Lego Batman 2 will let people explore Gotham City and also as Superman? I guess people might like it better than Arkham City because of the Batmobile which people complained about not being in Arkham City but I have yet to see what an open world lego can do although I think it would be cooler if it wasn't lego but who knows it might surprise me. Not that excited cause of it being lego but it definitely looks like it should be worth a try so nice job Traveller's Tales.
