by LanceG21 Awesome and Cool combined
Once the Xbox 360 Kinect comes out my god bros and me are about to play from 1am to 1am that is how awesome it is. I hope the Kinect comes with Kinectimals because at first I thought it was stupid but after watching reviews on it I changed my mind right away and said I hope it comes with that game .

I had some game stop credit and I decided to pre order this along with Kinect. I got this so my 4 year old daughter could play. I think this will be amazing as Kinect itself will be. Just think if my daughter is playing with the tiger and the tiger is used to her and knows her and then I try to play...the tiger will not know me and act differently. This is technology...this is now. Also keep in mind that there will be plush toys that you can purchase that will be able to be scanned in by Kinect and those plush animals will be put into the game. This game may not be for everyone, but for a 4 year old girl and growing children out there, can you really argue with this game is or strives to be? If you have children or if your child or children want this...it would be a great holiday present and who knows...you may have your own kinectamals to play with.
Rated 9 out of 10 by MemphisPooreman 5 & 7 yr old love the game. Its a HUGE HIT!
The Good: The graphics are very nice. It has a lot of content to unlock. Its like most of the smart phones or tablets with swipe to scroll type of selection navigation. This took my 5 year old daughter a week to get used to over the Wii. The audio is also very nice. My daughter wanted the game and loves anything to do with animals. The game-play is very child friendly with picking a cub and unlocking places on the island treasure map. They train their cub to do tricks, feed it, play games, and more.
The Bad: Sometimes the Kinect interface is hard for young hands that have problems slowly moving. Some games have the same type of motion problems. Your game cub lacks customizing. She would like to dress her cub in different clothes and even die its hair funny colors or patterns. She also would like some simple dance options.
Conclusion: The game far surpasses anything out there for pet/animal games for young kid gamers. My daughter just finished it and now is replaying it with the Sabertooth Tiger cub she unlocked. My daughter can play it for hours. Its worth the money if your little one like animals or even just wants one.

I think it's a fun game for kids.I got this for my little sister on her birthday and she loved it. But, when we got a new dog a few months later I think she was expecting our dog to be all happy and gentle all the time, and it seems like when it was going pretty hard on her, she was real sensitive about it and kept saying we got her the wrong and mean puppy.I somewhat think she would've handled it better without the game, but then again she had a good time playing the game. Me and my mom had to explain that dog's can be to playful sometimes and how they have different cross lines then we do. She understands totally that her new furry friend is there for her and is her best friend! Overall I think it's great for kids, just I think needs more realistic value to it.

After researching, trying out, and discussing it with my friends and family it was decided that this game is actually pretty darn good. My five-year-old neice is nearly always playing with her little tiger and it isn't unusual to see her rolling about the floor with her pet, either.
It's got amazing graphics which they use to pretty much face slam you with their adorable little kitties, and if you get the newer version you also get a choice of panda bears, too. The best thing about this game, though, is the activities and treasure hunting that children get to do in this game.
I'd recomend this to anyone with a younger child.
That being said: if you don't mind less detailed graphics and a more cartoon-y feel, you might be just as good going with Fantastic Pets.

I have a lot of Cousins, so when this game came out i thought it would be a good thing to try it out. I was interested to see how kids could respond to this game. It turns out, it responds well, you see this game is perfect for kids. Its the type of game that can keep your child occupied for a long time, but its not for older people, because this game is trully for little children who have always wanted that exotic pet, and now can fully enjoy it.
They can play fetch, and drive a car, and pet their own animal. Its incredibly responsive and the reactions are exactly of what you get if you had an animal to pet. Its an impressive game, with an impressive attitude towards children. Its about time, a game is made JUST for Kids.

Okay, I will say this game was not the worst Kinect game released for the Xbox 360. I understand this game is not meant for gamers like me that play Gears of War, Halo, Call of Duty and all those type of games. But, I must say I expected a lot more out of this game. This game is so cheesy, and so ridiculous that it is somewhat good. This game to me is bad because of how you can only pick out of kitty type animals. What about dogs? Monkeys? Birds? Unicorns? I played the demo of the new game that is a lot like this game but it has a bigger variety of animals. If you are looking forward to buying this game, check out the game called Fantastic Pets first. Fantastic Pets is way better than this game!

This game is super cute and fun. It has so many great details like the back round scenery , the animated slobber , and other stuff. The controls are another thing. The actions have different controls. One minute your waving your hands like a maniac to pet your cub , and the next your swaying your arms to drive there little toy jeep. Sound is great . Every word sounds crystal clear , but you keep listing to the same sound track. For all you game score hunters , Kinectimals is easy to earn G from. I got about 295 G from one hour of play. However , my 4 year old sister loves it more than I do. It tiers her out after a while , which is good because she can be annoying.

i saw this game on a commercial and i thought it was the cutest thing. I bought it and read the back and it said it had mini games and challenges and adventures so i thought that it would be like the game pets2 for the wii where u have to do certain missions, i was wrong. I only played it for about 2-3 hours but theres really no point and you do the same things. if your getting it for an 8 year old or younger i think its a great game but for older kids there not much point. Little kids will like it because they get to take care of and adorable little animal but that basically all you u do is play and take care of it theres not a real concept to it.

Microsoft has out did themselves with this one not needing a controller and yes it's pricey but it's has so much to offer as far as family gaming goes and it captures the full body image of the users instead of following the movement of the controller and it voice activates the console as well and puts the controls in the users voice this will give the xbox its momentum back and if it adds in other games such as sports i.e madden, live and NHL, it will definitely put xbox back in the drivers seat as far as next gen consoles go.
