Kameo Elements of Power
Kameo: Great Game
My friend bought me this game. At first I was reluctant, but I played it, and it was great. It took me a while to beat and it was fun. You get to play as 10 people, and you have a main story line and you also have your sub-missions. Even though I needed a little help during the game. It was still fun and surprisingly full of twists. It was cheap but it's worth it. I am not into role-playing games, but this one was spectacular. I was even addicted to this game for a long time. Even though some parts were hard and I quit playing, it was worth it. The story of the game is interesting. At the beginning of the game, you are told what is going on and then you are pulled right into the action and once again it is great. I recommend this game to anybody with an XBOX 360. IT IS AN EXCELLENT GAME!
I am the type of person who enjoys an RPG every once in a while, but this game got me hooked. I usually don't find myself playing any game other than call of duty, but I saw this game for only ** bucks so I decided to try it out (along with prey, a similar game to bioshock only I found it better). This game Kameo, even though it may seem a little girly, is not. The storyline reminded me of a zelda type game and honestly, the gameplay did too. I never play anything but call of duty or mlb, but this game was something else. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but I can tell that as I play on it will only get better. And for only ** bucks?! It's a definite steal. I recommend this game to people of all ages and obviously someone who enjoys an rpg every now and again. Now it doesn't exactly compare up to Lost Odyssey standards, but it's a lot closer than I thought it may be for a fifth of the price.
An underrated gem
My memory of Kameo is somewhat fuzzy, so bear with me when I tell you this is one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay centers around unlocking and transforming into different Elemental Warriors, each of whom possesses unique fighting and puzzle-solving capabilities. The game's graphics are decent, but its soundtrack is where the true magic lies. Its orchestrated tunes are simply amazing. To see what I mean, just look up "Hero's Theme Kameo". The story of the game is also great, and the world that it inhabits is so packed with mystery and lore that a prequel or sequel feels almost necessary. It's a shame that neither was ever made. However, there is one central problem I have with this game: length. It felt somewhat short, and though there's still a good amount of exploration to do after you beat it, I just wish there was more of this game to play. That being said, I cannot express how underrated I feel Kameo is. Some specific parts may have been annoying (i.e. underwater parts and the Snow Temple), but as a whole I cannot praise this game more. With its significantly reduced price, I definitely recommend purchasing Kameo, right now. (Sorry if my nostalgia biased me).
Why Did I Ever Get Rid of This!
I remember this game. It was a great game from beginning to end. It had a great storyline and gameplay that fit in perfectally with it. It's a mix between an action/aventure with some minor rpg and free roam parts. Basically you get these powers that alow you to control elemental creatures to solve interesting puzzles, spice up the combat, and fit right in with the storyline. It is a fun cartoony game, however you'd be suprised at the intersting ways you can kill enemies in this game. Very fun and very addictive. However once you beat the game... you might want to start over because after that... there's not much to do. But that isn't the reason I got rid of it... Long story short... I wanted to start a different game over again but there was no New Game button... so I accidentally wiped my heart drive. So if you don't end up doing that then this game is a must have.
Such an underrated game!
Got this game launch day with Call of Duty 2 Madden 06 and PGR3. I loved all of my launch games, but this was just epic! Some of the levels were HUGE! The character 'evolutions' were cool, and gave the game a ton of variety. Even the story was surprisingly good for this type of game (with KOTOR 2's Kreia voicing a similar mysterious witch) If anything (like all launch games) it was just way too short. Such a great Rare game! PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!!
By Simply looking at this game you cant quite tell what lies ahead. If you were to purchase this game you'd be cought in a whirlwind of fun and excitement. Very fun game, good for kids, adults(kids at heart), and any 1 that likes to have fun :)
Rare at it's best.
A magical journey into the mind of kameo a young girl or witch you decide on her path to save her family and everyone from her village. With the help of some more then stellar beasts out of pretty much every element and more. Great graphics remember this was made about six years ago. You may want more but it is something you will never have if you buy Kameo: Elements of Power.
Don't pass this up!!
This is one platformer that was totally looked over. I am wishing there was a sequel. The controls are a little hard to get used to, but being that they are making you use your joystick in a totally different manner it's actually a refreshing change. The camera work could be a little better, but I'm not making that little thing change my feelings about the game. It was a good story, there are lots of upgrades for your characters, and I still like to throw it in when I want to do a little adventuring every once in awhile. If you like a good challenging platformer and your wanting something different please give this game a try. If you look up the following on this game it's amazing how people have gotten into the folklore of it. It's one of those games that didn't get the greatest reviews from the magazines, but when you play it you get sucked in. The characters that you can morph into are cool, and they each have moves that you can unlock and upgrade. They also all have different suites that you can upgrade that are pretty cool. There are a couple of downloads available too. I even bought the harder levels from Marketplace. But sadly they are a little too difficult for my skill level. The mulitplayer is fun and challenging too. My 9 year old and I have fun trying to beat the bosses, but you have to play through the game before you can play them all. I have completed the game, so we can play any of the bosses whenever we want. There is also a rune battle, and even a setting to hit the other person to prevent them from getting the runes. For the price that this game is going for now, I would say that it's really worth it.
Why Didn't it sell better?
I Played this game at a friends house, And almost immediately after i Got my Xbox I bought it. This is a really great game. After unlocking a monster it made me only want to get the next one. The main problems are that The story seems to end suddenly, and You kind of get waves of Difficulty, and it gets kind of annoying.
this is a pretty cool game. knowing that you can turn into things. it is also co-op but you haft to beat each level first before. then you replay that level with a friend kinda dum its what it is. for 5 bucks give it a try not to bad
