Movie was okay (game not)
Iron man 2 should have never been made nor should any movie game ever be made. Movie games just don't deliver quality. The game makes a mockery of Iron mans abilities and really limits the powerful hero.

It's Okay
As most of you know, most movie based games suck. I bought this anyway though because it was on a good sale. The graphics really are not realistic and the games is a little too easy. If you wanted to, you could probably beat it in a day. The many glitches also take away from the game. Some of the story lines of the missions were just plain pathetic. The game was rushed in the making because the programmers tried to finish the game before the movie game out. I feel they could of made this a quality game if they took their time. Some parts are fun though, but mainly you just fly and shoot, the missions are way too predictable. Shooting is only fun if you are playing as War Machine. I suggest saving your money.

Not worth it
The graphics stink and I they made it look like it was teamwork, iron man and war machine are never together

From one failure to another diasaster...
This game was horrible. The controls sucked more than the first and the camera angles made it impossible to actually fight anything. At times I felt like they were trying ot make an over the shoulder shooter, but failed horribly. The customization was bland and seemed like the only difference from the two characters was the machine gun or the repulsor. The game didnt follow the story line to the movie, but like the first one tried to make its own and once again like the first one failed. This game isnt worth anyones time and like the first this game isnt even good enough for the developers to play. If you are going to get either the first Iron Man or this one go with the first, but with all honestly niether of them arnt worht your time and if you do purchase this game have your keys handy because youll be turning right back around and trading it back in.

don't even think about buying this
this game was TERRIBLE!!!!! i thought it might have ben alright but...i was terribly wrong. the graphics suck!!! everything about this game sucks. its way too simple and only has like 30 mins of gameplay even on the formidable campaign level. it is way too easy...i think that if you have a little child then it might be alright for them. but if you're over the age of 8 dont get it.

Iron Blah Is More Like It
Im not going to lie, I enjoyed the 1st Iron Man game. Yes folks, you read that correct. Now while I think it was FAR from how horrible others made it seem I do know that it wasnt great. In my opinion it bordered on somewhere between mediocore and ok. With a new developer (Sega Studios San Fransico) at the helm I had better hopes for the 2nd game and damn it call me cray but I actually enjoyed the 1st one better.

Graphics - WOW are they poor, especailly the absolutely ATROCIOUS cut scenes. They are so disgustingly low res, fuzzy, and the character models look incredibly stiff and robotic. Actual gameplay graphics look very jaggy and low res especially War Machine. His suit looks like total crap and again looks incredibly low res. and Im not even joking when I say the 1st game had better graphics and cut scenes (and the 1st games cut scenes werent great to top it off so just imagine).

Sound - You get a Robert Downey Jr sound alike which I wont lie he sounds very good. Then you have Don Cheadle and Sam Jackson reprising their roles as War Machine and Nick Fury respectively. So as far as voice acting goes its pretty decent. Music is very forgettable with no tune in particular that is in any way memorable. All in all its "meh".

Controls - While they are an improvement from the 1st game they are still kind of a hassle. At least the flying is handled a bit better.

Funfactor - See those guys shooting at you? Yeah, blow 'em all up then move on.

Achievements - A VERY EASY 1000 gamerscore. You'll have no problem completeing all the achivements.

Lenght - I beat it in an insulting 4 hours on normal and there is NO REASON to pick this up again once your done.

Iron Man 2 is in no way worth the $** asking price. If your an Iron Man fan there is a bit of enjoyment to be had here but it comes in VERY small doses. Wait for it to drop to $** (which shouldnt take too long) if you need a superhero fix.

Only for Iron Man fanboys
Note: Unless you are an Iron Man fanboy you will most likely not enjoy this game. Challenge: This game isn't too challenging, but the real challenge comes in the controls[I will address those issues in the controls section]. Too often you will find yourself able to melee combo your way out of a situation. Graphics: They aren't horrible, but behind in today's standards. If you are looking for some quality HD graphics to put up on the LCD at home, this isn't the game. Length: It is around 4-5 hours depending on if you go for all the achievements. There isn't much replayability other than playing as either Iron Man or War Machine. To be honest, you won't want to replay this game, it just becomes tedious after the 3rd hour. Storyline: Not the best story seeing as it vaguely follows Iron Man 2 the movie. Half the time you don't even know what is going on. Controls: They are pretty bad. The Right Arm/Left Arm thing works well, but the Flight controls are horrible. Flying is hard to control and using the jets are choppy. To often you will be going up when you want to go down. Unless you are a die hard Iron Man fan or a casual gamer, you won't like this game. This will have the hard-er-of-core gamers throwing it away.

A Epic Failure
Ok, I rented this game in hopes of it being much better than the first Iron Man game, but it was not. The Graphics suck, the controls are hard to get used to, and it was very short. Iron Man (Tony Stark) is not voiced by Robert Downey Jr. which was a disappointment. Although, the storyline was cool to say the least, it did not follow the movie, but took its own path and introduced 2 of Iron Mans other Villians, like the Crimson Dynamo, and Ultimo. In the end, it is not worth buying, but seeing as how the storyline kept me playing it, its worth renting for sure. I just hope they make an Iron Man game worth playing, better graphics, and maybe some online play to mix things up. This game also only had one real boss fight which was with Ultimo, you fight Crimson Dynamo early on and he dies easily.
