This game was horrible. The controls sucked more than the first and the camera angles made it impossible to actually fight anything. At times I felt like they were trying ot make an over the shoulder shooter, but failed horribly. The customization was bland and seemed like the only difference from the two characters was the machine gun or the repulsor. The game didnt follow the story line to the movie, but like the first one tried to make its own and once again like the first one failed. This game isnt worth anyones time and like the first this game isnt even good enough for the developers to play. If you are going to get either the first Iron Man or this one go with the first, but with all honestly niether of them arnt worht your time and if you do purchase this game have your keys handy because youll be turning right back around and trading it back in.

I tossed this game into the machine "thinking" the graphics and gameplay would be good, but I was wrong. The sound is poor, coloring is sad and the controls are a major issue. Some of the game looks very good, while other parts just lack. The action and challenge is ok, the final battle was the most difficult but for me it was due to the controls, other than that the final battle would have been fast like the rest of the game. I suppose its ok being able to switch back and forth from ironman and war machine, but it was pure repetition switching just to get those achievements, they should have added a little something into the game-story. I see no replay value at all and a few times I almost tossed it due to the controls. LIke the other person said, snag it if you are a ironman fan but other than that pass it up.

Ok, I rented this game in hopes of it being much better than the first Iron Man game, but it was not. The Graphics suck, the controls are hard to get used to, and it was very short. Iron Man (Tony Stark) is not voiced by Robert Downey Jr. which was a disappointment. Although, the storyline was cool to say the least, it did not follow the movie, but took its own path and introduced 2 of Iron Mans other Villians, like the Crimson Dynamo, and Ultimo. In the end, it is not worth buying, but seeing as how the storyline kept me playing it, its worth renting for sure. I just hope they make an Iron Man game worth playing, better graphics, and maybe some online play to mix things up. This game also only had one real boss fight which was with Ultimo, you fight Crimson Dynamo early on and he dies easily.

This game has problems like the length. It took about 3-4 hours to beat and it took about another hour to get all the upgrades and suits. The replay value is very low for this kind of game, but the graphics are very good and the challenge is decent on easy difficulty, especially the last mission. There are a good variety of suits, weapons and upgrades. You can play as War Machine, but there is no co-op in the game. I wish it was free roaming like Spider-Man. If you want a good platformer or superhero game you should definitely get this game. And if you don't then you should get Splinter Cell or pre-order Red Dead Redemption. If you are a big Iron Man fan, you should get and it would give you a nice gamerscore and if you're not, you should rent it or wait a while until the price drops.
Rated 5 out of 10 by LeGiT Muffinz Only for Iron Man fanboys
Note: Unless you are an Iron Man fanboy you will most likely not enjoy this game. Challenge: This game isn't too challenging, but the real challenge comes in the controls[I will address those issues in the controls section]. Too often you will find yourself able to melee combo your way out of a situation. Graphics: They aren't horrible, but behind in today's standards. If you are looking for some quality HD graphics to put up on the LCD at home, this isn't the game. Length: It is around 4-5 hours depending on if you go for all the achievements. There isn't much replayability other than playing as either Iron Man or War Machine. To be honest, you won't want to replay this game, it just becomes tedious after the 3rd hour. Storyline: Not the best story seeing as it vaguely follows Iron Man 2 the movie. Half the time you don't even know what is going on. Controls: They are pretty bad. The Right Arm/Left Arm thing works well, but the Flight controls are horrible. Flying is hard to control and using the jets are choppy. To often you will be going up when you want to go down. Unless you are a die hard Iron Man fan or a casual gamer, you won't like this game. This will have the hard-er-of-core gamers throwing it away.

As most of you know, most movie based games suck. I bought this anyway though because it was on a good sale. The graphics really are not realistic and the games is a little too easy. If you wanted to, you could probably beat it in a day. The many glitches also take away from the game. Some of the story lines of the missions were just plain pathetic. The game was rushed in the making because the programmers tried to finish the game before the movie game out. I feel they could of made this a quality game if they took their time. Some parts are fun though, but mainly you just fly and shoot, the missions are way too predictable. Shooting is only fun if you are playing as War Machine. I suggest saving your money.

This game seems to be heading in a different direction than the first game. It actually seems like this wont end up like most marvel movie title games ( Spiderman *cough cough ). But this seems like it might actually be worth paying the money to purchase, instead of a rental. I actually want to see how they improved on the combat system from the first one, and if they improved the ground to air transition. But only in time will we be able to tell. Lets see if this game can go into the class of "Batman Arkham Asylum" or if this will just fall into the same level as "Catwoman"!!!
Rated 0 out of 10 by Eversoris Not a Movie Tie-In
I read that this game will not be based on the movie, even though the name is the same. I read that Iron Man comic writer, Matt Fraction will write a unique narrative that is exclusive to the game. Whether or not this means that the movie directors can't touch it, we won't know until we have played it. I hope they don't touch it, though. I don't want this one to end up being like the other one. This could be great.

this game was TERRIBLE!!!!! i thought it might have ben alright but...i was terribly wrong. the graphics suck!!! everything about this game sucks. its way too simple and only has like 30 mins of gameplay even on the formidable campaign level. it is way too easy...i think that if you have a little child then it might be alright for them. but if you're over the age of 8 dont get it.

Im happy to hear that the game is not intended to have a movie tie in, since 90% of super hero games are made after their movies and they blow (spiderman 2 was only exception, still sucked but there was worse) The customizable suits and being able to use war machine as well is pretty sweet. Hopefully it lives up to its hype.
