It's pretty difficult to give this an overall rating based on the fact that these are 2 completely different games done by 2 different developers, especially considering the original age of the original Combat Evolved. To my understanding however, this is a really good bundle for those who love the original Halo and are looking for an introduction to what Halo has become today. Halo CEAE is just a re-polishing of the first halo graphically and is everything that someone with nostalgic feelings for halo would want. It does not change anything else however and therefore is not for people who didn't like the first game. Halo Reach doesn't bring as much to the table however because of the lower-quality plot (yet still thrilling gameplay) that it has and because the multiplayer behind it has probably become almost nothing seeing as its a 3 year old game. Overall this is a recommended bundle for those wishing to learn what made halo great, hear one of the best soundtracks in gaming, and the hear story behind halo as well as for those who want to go back to the original halo, but not for those who already wasn't a fan of the overall concept.

This bundle is Great. BUT!!!!!! You have to play the games in order of which they are told. Halo Reach comes before Halo CE in the storyline, so you play the games in sequence. Halo Reach, HaloCE, Halo 2,3,4. Halo 3:ODST, and Halo Wars are Just Side stories. So If you have all of the games like I do. Play them in sequence, because the overall story is much easier to understand.

If you like challenging first person shooters, then this is your game. It has a great story and the gameplay is one of the best of halo games. Beating this game on legendary will test your skills.

This is a great deal. Now if they would just add-in 2 & 3, that would make the perfect game for that Halo fan in your life.
