The first thing I have to say is that I am glad that Rockstar decided to release this as a standalone game. I downloaded Lost and the Damned when it was released, and fell in love with the game. It reminded me of the old Liberty City/Vice City Stories games. The only thing I hated was the fact that some of the cutscenes and gameplay in my download turned out really snowy looking, taking away from the clean look of the GTA IV game. Aside from that, I am loving what I have seen of The Balad of Gay Tony. I cant wait to see how Luis Lopez plays a part in the bank robbery from the original game, and if you pay close attention to the credits of TLaD, you can see Luis leaving the Libertonian via the roof, so that will be interesting to play through. It also seems that Luis will have a girlfriend, which was sadly missing from the other game. Mabye we will get to see more of Bernie and Bryce Dawkins, but I am preordering this soon so I can see my favorite character from GTA IV, GRACIE ANCOLOTTI, lol. Can't Wait.

Grand theft auto episodes from liberty city is a fantastic game. I have always thaught how is rockstar going to make a game better than GTA IV, but they did it. GTA IV episodes from liberty city. The graphics, fantastic i mean you can tell every little detail they put into this game made it so much better. The length in GTA has always been fantastic always long, but this one even longer i know it can get frusterating failing the mission and having to drive back to it but i mean its cool. The story line is better than any other game in the world, but i wouldnt let any kid under 13 play the game, (well at least the storyline). The controls are good could be better i mean the driving a little difficult but it is still awsome. The sound is great it is so loud you can hear a penny drop anywhere in the city. Also the inter face is great to. I give this game a 10 out of 10 because it is a Fantastic game. Thats my review on GTA IV episodes from Liberty City.
Rated 10 out of 10 by game pro 14 really great
this game has over 20 hrs of game play for both the lost and damned and ballad of gay tony it may be the best buy ever i would suggest buying this over the actual gta4 because better guns and game play and you actually meet you characters in the two new episodes. the ballad of gay tony was better than lost and damned though it had a more betrale based storyline and you really started to feel for the characters and wondering what you would do in there position. the gta franchise would be better though if they went a little more rpg and gave you a chose and let you see how things play out which would hook more people like me who love game like fable because there deep storyline. i really like the gta franchise because they could of been like halo odst and charge 2 twice as much for pretty much an add on but no they charge so little for almost a completly new game each of the new episodes are over 10 hrs which is longer than most normal priced games.overall i think that this game is one of my favorite games ever because its a cheap and entertaning
Rated 9 out of 10 by Todd101010 The Mature 17+ rating speaks for itself
The Mature rating really is what this game deserves (if i could i would change the rating to Adults Only). All of the ratings stand out, especially the Strong S**ual Content, (it wouldn't let me type the actual word and let me post the review) Strong Language, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, and Nudity in both games. enough said. Overall good game but not for the kids. The original grand theft auto IV isn't as bad, though. there is still heavy drug and alcohol use, lots of strong language, some partial nudity but mostly in the cutscenes and you can skip those. That is in gta4 though, in this one there is full on nudity, fully shown s**, heavy drug and alcohol use, the works. For the younger ones get gta4 and watch them play it, with this one, DO NOT GET for younger ones. The older grand theft autos like Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories are better for the younger ones than gta4, but if you're older this product is great for you.

Hey guys! I haven't played this game because I have to wait for March 30th when it comes out for the ps3. So if any of you guys are broke and are waiting for allowance or your next payday, please read on. I have been always 'INFECTED' with watching Youtube videos of a game I was waiting to get. TBOGT is unbelievable to most people, especially parachuting. That must be awsome. The Stinger police car is so fast, probably the fastest car in the game. New weapons and new cheats compared to GTA4. Most people say they don`t use cheats but you know you do! i am mostly excited for the parachuting, online, soaring into wars on the ground from a parachute must be fun. Cars are said to have tougher controls than GTA4 which I think must be challenging, and I like challenging! I rate this 10 out of 10, even though I haven't play this game. Thank you for you time staring at the computer reading 909 words.

Great game! Only complain is the graphics! They actually look downgraded and some of them lag. I guess It is just because the game has more to offer though. Out of there I give this game, a 10 on everything besides graphics I give it a 7. But totally worth buying! You will not be disappointed! The whole story line is great! The story line echos that of the movies Babel and Crash. This game actually gives Liberty City its personality and sets an even better understanding of the City and what goes on in it. Niko's story was good but this new game goes further into depth with the criminal problem, drug trafficking, mobs etc... Reminds me of another "Less than Zero" in some parts. Happy to see that the developers brought back some of the old features into the game as mentioned by the former review. End point being great game, don't regret buying it, just wish the graphics were a bit better.

Rated 8 out of 10 by MaqDiesel Not the best from Rockstar
The DLC to GTA IV (in disc form). It's not to bad. Some of the missions are very monotonous, aggravating, and down right the same as the last. The story mode doesn't go in as deep as the main game does. I've had it for over a year and a half and still haven't beat both TBoGT and TLaD. TLaD is quite short, nothing here over 12 hrs of gameplay. TBoGT is over 12 hrs of gameplay but, is the more aggravating of the two games. If you like GTA IV or any of them odds are you will like the DLC, I loved San Andreas but fell short on GTA IV and its Episodes. Try borrowing from a friend or renting if possible before buying, as to me I paid $30 for it new back in early 2010 and now GTA 5 is around the corner, with that being said, it's not worth $26.99 to me!!! I recommend waiting till GTA 5 drops for a price reduction. ****NOTE- GTA IV disc is NOT REQUIRED to play this game.*****
Rated 10 out of 10 by RPG fan420 More GTA Fun
Well, the games certainly won't let down any fan of the GTA series. They're a bit more action packed than Niko Belics story but fit perfectly into the presentation of Liberty City itself. More crazy characters, new weapons, new missions with the ability to replay them to improve, new cool activites like base jumping since the parachute is back, and just more madness one would expect from the amazingly talented developers, animators, and programmers over at Rockstar North. I love the direction they took with GTA, Liberty City feels so alive with these fantastic additions. The additions are a ridiculous steal considering the cost of most new games and the content one receives. These add ons have more replay value than almost any game out on the market especially when GTA4 is included. Episodes From Liberty City is a must buy for any fan of the GTA franchise.
