Ghost Recon: Advanced War Fighter 2
Imma be honest, I did NOT wanna get this game at first. I figured because it's so sold I would have a 15 minute campaign and then MAYBE find ONE person to shoot on Live. But I was in serious need of some games, so I got it.
GREAT GAME!!! The campaign is actually pretty decent (and you don't have stupid AI that just walk out in the open, die, and fail your mission) and I have fun doing single player. But the multiplayer is BOMB!!! 90% of the time I find rooms that are almost (if not) full! And I'm still a n00b at shooters due to owning a Wii for so long, but I still have fun, and I have killed many h4xx0rs and elites, so even if you're a n00b you can have fun!!!
The graphics are great, although I am dissapointed with the low blood settings the game is on. The sound is good, and the controlls are easy to use. The campaign has ok replay value, but when you have multiplayer it doesn't matter. Overall a good game and great buy, and I can't wait for the new one!
Tom's Still Got It
If you've played any Tom Clancy game, you know the basics: save the world by shooting the bad guys. Continuing off the storyline of GRAW, GRAW 2 keeps the same controls and interfaces, for the most part, yet improved them to the point where even someone who's never played a shoot'em up before and move around easily. Team control is much easier than in GRAW, and much more support is granted. Snipers and antitank gunners are now options when choosing you men, and a wider variety of weapons is available at each ammo refill point. And the best part of all: you can be healed! That's right, there are no cheat codes for this game, you actually have to play by the rules. But you don't have to worry about losing too much health anymore. You will always have someone on your team that has medpacks, and ammo refill points heal you completely. So if you enjoyed GRAW or are just playing Ghost Recon for the first time, get comfortable, 'cause you won't want to stop playing for a long time.
The Ghosts LIVE ON!
Many people think of Tom clancy as only doing games like splinter cell and rainbow six. This is not true. When i first bought this game the gameplay became very addicting. each level hooked u even more and the multiplayer is just as good as cods. Although many parts must be played over and over in able 2 beat this is a game worth the price. Even though many people wouldnt buy it because of the other games out now it is definetly one the best teen games ever. Without any doubt this could be Tom Clancys best game yet. Everything about this game is outstanding. Every aspect lives up to its reputation and should not disapoint anyone who buys it. The one con to this game is theat it has a short campaign. But that shouldnt be a problem due to its intense and addicting multiplayer. Be sure to pre order GR Future Soldier too. Thanks Everybody!!!
Excellent Game/Excellent Price
Tom Clancy has done it again. I remember playing GRAW 1 & 2 on the PC and hating it. Playing it on the 360 has definitely changed my mind. The game is relatively difficult. Has a great storyline, and the replay value is excellent. Definitely a game you can sit down and play with friends over and over or play via Live and always enjoy it. One of my problems with it is there is no Combat Medic class for multi-player, which I think would have helped out immensely. Also the ability to take cover along the walls like you could in single player would have been a nice touch as well. But overall an excellent game. The storyline was great and kept me going, even till the end. Wish the DLC for it would keep coming out. One other issue I have had with it, which I think is more on the Live end of the software, I find myself having to redownload the DLC for it as it refuses to recognize it occassionally.
While most people might tell you that tactical shooting is a coverup for find one guy, wait for a clear shot, zoom in on his head, and then.... tell your teammate to shoot him. Guess what, it isn't. there are many intense firefights that require you to use your BRAIN, not just your trigger finger. I found the game to be challenging, not in that I had to play a certain part over and over again, but that i make good decisions with the support i am given. the controls might not make sense to people who have only played run and gun games but you easily get used to them. while playing through the campaign i noticed a graphics glitch. on certain guns while peering around cover i found that the gun would appear to be shooting up, while in fact you were firing forward. apart from this, great graphics. the storyline had a few unsuspecting twists, but it also had its fair share of obvious elements. Being able to look around a corner and shoot unsuspecting victims will never get old.
When I went and got this game, I knew id just love it. Ive been a fan of Tom Clancy's games since I started playing them. They are all awesome, and this one definitely tops the list. The graphics are amazing, and i love how you can use like a hundred guns. The storyline is kind of short, but well made. The whole commanding your teammates thing worked perfectly with GRAW 2. Usually controlling your teammates is really complicated, and they really dont do anything but walk and die. In GRAW 2 you control them, and tell them what to shoot at, and when to. I just love that. Also the multiplayer is awesome. You have so many options to choose from, and each one is really fun to play. And you can even do them solo which is cool. Overall it was a great game in all categories. The one thing Ubisoft did wrong, was not hinting about the game so much. One day it wasnt there, and the next they were there. If Ubisoft gave a heads up, they probably would have had more people buy it.
I just bought this game for under $3. So far the campaign is good and draws you in. the controls in single player flow smoothly and the graphics are good for its AGE. multiplayer is fun, but will make you rage often times due to the PRO players that play. but what makes it more irritating is the aim. you cannot adjust the sensitivity to aiming, so first see, first shoot. however co-op modes are challenging yet fun. I put hours in so far. great game for under $3.
I got this game yesterday and it was fantastic! The situations are very realistic, your teamates talk to you, you get advice from headquarters, and the weapons are awesome.
A Great Game.
This game is a very good and challenging game. The graphics are O.k. The weapons are great! A very balanced game that is still challenging. Playing with 15 other people even my team coudnt beat 1 co-op mission! ( What a fail! ) Its not like Modern Warfare 2 Where if you get shot your health/life will just regenerate; You actually lose life and it wont come back. Its easy to kill enemies but its easy to die too. Overall this is a great game that I would recommend! :)
Single vs. Multiplayer
I for one like the single player better than the multi player unless its online because the in the fps mode you cant see your gun with i think is some b.s. because its kind of weird not seeing your gun. Also whats wrong with fps mode is that for me its hard to find people because its little hard look around. The single is pretty fun the storyline is okay although its a little like the GRAW 1 storyline its ok. The guns are pretty cool kind of like the guns from modern warfare 1. But i think there different. I think this a big improvement from Graw 1 to Graw 2. I like the maps there not that bad a little better that GRAW 1 i think that personally this a good Tom Clancy but i dont thing the (splinter cell, End War) best but good. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is one the top 20 shooters in my opinion
