Game Party: In Motion
Gerenal flaws, but ok
This game suffers from most of the same issues all Kinect games do at this point, but if you have become use to the Kinect and know how to power through those issues then this game is actually rather fun.
The biggest issue I've found though is the "OK" button. You have to put you right hand at waist level and hold it there, but it seems that every time you have to do this it thinks your waist is somewhere else or halfway through the hold process it changes its mind. This can get really frustrating. They should have just used the mouse like pointer hand that most other Kinect games do.
The other issue is that if you are playing with anyone else it needs to see both players all the time and sometimes gets confused as to who each player is. Other games are much better at handling this and I wish they'd release an update to fix some of these issues.
Aside from those two things the game is fun and I like the variety of games built in. Buying it used or on discount would probably be better if you can find it that way. $30 would be fine to pay, but $40 is stretching it.
The game is almost completely unresponsive. When you try to throw/toss anything, the object just stays in your hand. This is my second game I bought for kinect and I am starting to have my doubts for kinects game lineup. I expected it to be fun and competitive for both me and my girlfriend. WRONG. DO NOT BUY!!!
Not my Favorite
I purchased this game the same day that I got my Kinect.. I was at gamestop the next day trading it in. It is not a game that i would play again. it is not that fun, i would recommend that you spend the extra money and get a little better game.
The graphics are really cool however it does not pick up the sensor for play. It took really long to start the actual game play.
ITS OK REALLY IT ISN'T THE WORST
It is true that once you first try this game you will hate it. I will say this.... if you have any sort of patience or skill you will figure out this game. I see all these reviews about how it does not work, and I do agree that in the beginning it didnt seem to work and that it is no where near perfect but trust me, it is not the worst game! Take some time to figure it out! Be smooth when you play don't force it, thats my tip.
Dollar Store Kinect Sports
Game is sluggish and glitchy, the menu is generic and unresponsive. Any left handers are recommended to stay away from this title unless they like pausing in the middle of the game frequently for no reason. There are hardly any tutorials for the mini games. This is the type of game you would find in a bin at a Marshalls, Ross, or even Salvation Army. There was nothing positive to say about this game except that you could earn easy achievements.
Expected more from it!
This game is fun don't let people say different. It could have been a lot better and smoother controls but it's a nice and different pace compared to my other Kinect games that are extremely tiring this game is great for when people come over but that's it, there is no live which I was very dis appointed in! But game is fun would pick it up used and save a few bucks or so u can return it if u do not like every ones opinion is different!
Very frustrating game and very disappointed
This game is good and bad but mainly bad. It had a few games I liked. It is very frustrating for two reasons: the navigation is difficult because it speeds passed things or randomly clicks the check button, and the second is that both players have to stand so close together otherwise it pauses. The space for it to recognize you is only so big so it is uncomfortable being that close while trying to play. The pool is beyond awful, as well as bocca ball (or whatever it's called), and so is the darts. The bean bag toss, racquet ball, and a few others are fun. I would not recommend this game to anyone and the only reason we are keeping it is the bc the few games my bf likes.
horrible game or brilliant?
@ first i thought this was just a bunch of easy party games, but its not! its meant for true hardcore gamers, as tue real objective of the game is simply trying to control it. With no virtual hand or mouse on the screeen, enjoy hours of fun with your little ones as you simply try to just do anything on screen. Can you hit the accept button via kinnnect in under 5minutes? but wait theres more, 2nd player adds to the fun as random movements hit the back button, etc. why would they not include some type of cursor or hand to asssist in selecting menus? once u master that, look forward to minutes of boring, simplistic games!
I don't even know what to say about this game. "Blows Chunks" comes to mind. I read about this game and it said there was multiplayer. There is infact no multiplayer options in this game. The controls are absolutely horrible. The creator of this game is probably standing in an unemployment line right about now. Sorry to be so harsh on the game, but it's my fault for buying a game that launched at 39.99. Never again Warner Brothers, stick to making movies.
