FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Edition
I hope this pre-order will be worth it, from what it seems to me is that EA is giving us 40 gold packs which is great. I hope this game is as great as Fifa 14 was, i overall loved the game and i hope they improved on this one and made the ultimate team even better than before.
The good news, and the BAD news
The good news is that they have improved FIFA 15 a lot from FIFA 14 even if it is on last-gen, I'm impressed with what more they could push from the 360. Graphics department is an improvement over FIFA 14 but not by a lot but the improvement is there. Also career mode has improved; searching for players to buy is easier and player growth feels good. Gameplay wise over the top through balls are nerfed significantly and headers from crosses are near non-existent. HOWEVER, it is time for the bad news. The bad news is that the gameplay is horribly broken. Both in single player and FUT. Yes the over the top balls are hard to do now and headers almost impossible but PACE and DRIBBLING is out of this world. I enjoy the improved dribbling BUT now fast low rated players can actually destroy teams apart. You can grab a fast player with decent dribbling and run from the halfway line straight through the opponents defense because the pace of the game has been upped way too much that defenders don't have time to position themselves. It is horrible to play online where people can just run through your team of top players just because they have a player that is fast. It feels worse than FIFA 13 except without the over the top balls and headers. You can actually beat a team like Barcelona on Legendary difficulty if you have a team that is full of fast players. I would not recommend this game to people who play FUT. It is too frustrating to play online. I couldn't win at first because I was playing like I did in FIFA 14 with good passing and possession now to win you can just run through people's defenders like Kompany and Sergio Ramos. If you like career mode and playing with CPU then it is definitely worth it with the new upgrades also since the CPU won't try to run through your defense with pace. Offline users will enjoy the new graphics and improved commentary. Thanks for reading my rant.
ive bought every single fifa since 2003 and they never dissapoint me. And now they are adding alll Premier League Stadiums!!!!. i hope they add the Champions League soon!.
Good, but not good enough
Although it's fairly early in the game to start making assessments, I believe this game just doesn't perform like the older games. The game is absolutely beautiful, don't get me wrong, but let's be honest, do we really play video games to have it reenact real life? Personally, I find the older, more arcade-ish FIFAs to be a lot more fun then the newer ones. The older FIFAs (although nowhere near the graphical caliber that FIFA 15 is at) have a lot more enjoyable gameplay because it isn't as realistic. What I'm trying to say, is that since it is not trying (or unsuccessfully trying) to be realistic, it isn't enraging when a crazy super unrealistic goal goes in in FIFA 15 you expect that not to happen since it's trying so hard to model real life but, compared to the older FIFAs, when something ridiculous happens (like a crazy 50 yard finesse shot) you can't get upset because you know it isn't realistic in the slightest. So in conclusion, if you enjoy the realistic looks and "realistic" gameplay then FIFA 15 is perfect for you, but if you prefer a more fun, fast-paced, unrealistic gameplay with the expense of lesser graphics, I highly reccomend picking up FIFA 11 or 12.
I cannot wait to play the new FIFA , adding all of the Premier League Stadiums is huge! needless to say, just pre-ordered it...
