Fallout New Vegas
WOW they are awesome at Bethesda and Obsidian
This game shows people what obsession to actually please the gamers and fans can bring to the player. Weapon mods, iron sights, companion wheel, survival, factions, this game keeps you thoroughly entertained. If you don't like how it ended you can try many other exciting ways. Bottom line is that its terrific one of the best series of games that i have ever played period.
My favorite Xbox 360 game (but flawed)
I have played about a hundred Xbox 360 games and I have to say that this one is still my favorite. I'm a big fan of RPG's and I loved I found one that wasn't medieval. I have done numerous playthrough's of this game and it doesn't get old, it helps that there are so many side quests and four different ways to end the game. I love the scenery in this game, the various towns, and the size of the map. That being said, this game is definitely flawed. Most of the flaws are the numerous bugs. This is one of the buggiest games I have ever played. There have been many times where I will get glitched into rocks and not be able to move, forcing me to reload my save. There has also been many times where random side quests have glitched to where I couldn't do them. Also, THIS GAME HAS SO MANY LOADING SCREENS. I have never seen so many loading screens in a game. Even with the bugs, glitches, and loading screens, this game is definitely worth checking out. I would recommend picking up the DLC as well.
Ron Pearlman is back!
If you liked fallout 3 you will like this game, if you didnt like fallout 3 you wont. Fallout New Vegas and fallout 3 are the same in basically every way. The story in fallout new vegas goes like this " You are a courrier tasked with delivering a platinum pokerchip to the vegas strip, you are then captured by a mysterious man in a checkered suit named Mr. House he then promptly puts a bullet in your head, but somehow you lived and you are patched up by a doctor and then your off to find Mr. House." Everybody says that this game is loaded with bugs and gitches but I only found one or two the whole thirty hours I spent with the game. Ron Pearlman is back as the narrator and he really adds to the overall expeirience of the game. The number one thing that I hate is that you cant continue to play after you beat the game. This happened in Fallout 3 and there was so much hate that they later had to release patches. Why would Bethesda and Obsidian make the same mistake twice.
fallout 3 is better
to start off I liked New Vegas overall. what I did like is again how there's a big map and a ton to explore and the story line isn't half bad. I also liked how u can make substances and compounds, it gave the game a more of a survival feel. I also liked how you can make bullets in this game. it made the game more realistic. However there are plenty of problems with New Vegas. what I didn't like is how difficult it is find a good weapons and ammo. I also felt like enemies just eat bullets. it takes way to many rounds to kill something. Also and of course what everybody complains about how glitch the game is. its pretty bad, Bethesda should of just worked on this game alone. I also didn't like how they just throw death claws around like there an easy enemies to defeat. New Vegas is now where near as good as fallout 3 but its still a good game. Im very excited to see what Bethesda comes up with for FALLOUT 4!!!!
A New Take on Fallout.
First off, I must say that if you haven't played Fallout 3, get that instead because it is truly much better. Although Fallout 3 is better, Fallout: New Vegas has both pros and cons to the franchise' previous installment, Fallout 3. New Vegas takes place in the Mojave Wasteland. The area is much more lively and you will encounter more people here then in the Capitol Wasteland in Fallout 3. New Vegas is actually a CITY with people and robots and what not. You can gamble in casinos, go out on quests, barter and shops, and even find a robot sexbot inside of an old factory. Cons of this game are that it freezes a lot, a less suspenseful and personal story compared to Fallout 3's very close to your heart story. New Vegas' story line stays the same for the first half, then you have 4 options of what he future for New Vegas holds. You can join the charismatic, businessman that is the current ruler of New Vegas Mr. House, the New California Republic (N.C.R.) who plan to bring justice and taxes to the Mojave, the Roman style military faction that is Legion led by the ruthless Caesar, or help an always optimistic robot named Yes Man takeover the city as a independent territory..The world is yours. Fallout 3 may have been better, but Fallout: New Vegas is still great on its own
How is there only one review?
Okay. First off about New Vegas. It is not nearly as good as Fallout 3. Plus since Obsidian helped with this game it is extremely glitchy and there are tons of bugs, but that isn't really a bad thing. The ONLY thing that I absolutely HATE about New Vegas is that you can't continue playing after the end of the game like in Fallout 3 when they released Broken Steel. Even with all four DLC you can't continue after the end of the game.
