Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition
You vs the Wasteland....
I loved Fallout 3 so much, that im giving it another play through. This time with all the DLC's. I havent played the first two, but i hope theyll become available on XBLA . Plus Bethesda is real generous when it comes to the special edition/pre-orders. BOBBLEHEADS AND LUNCHBOXES!!!!!
I CAN SEE WHY THIS GAME WAS MOST ANTICIPATED GOTY
FALLOUT NEW VEGAS IS THE TYPE OF GAME THAT REALY MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT HOW YOU PLAY. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES AND PATHS YOU CAN TAKE IN EACH AND EVERY QUEST, AND THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT GROUPS OR FACTIONS OF PEOPLE THAT THOSE CHOICES EFFECT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME NOT ONLY TO HARDCORE GAMERS, BUT ALSO TO GAMERS WHO LIKE TO EXPLORE AND ADVENTURE. THE MAP IN NEW VEGAS IS ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS IN FALLOUT 3, AND THE GRAPHICS ARE JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER, BUT DONT GET ME WRONG THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT! ONE THING THAT I NOTICED AND LOVE ABOUT NEW VEGAS IS THAT THE GAME IN GENERAL IS A MORE COLORFUL AND BEAUTIFUL GAME. THE VEGAS STRIP CAN BE SEEN FROM A TREMENDOUS DISTANCE DURING THE NIGHT, DUE TO ITS RADIANT LIGHTS, SIGNS, AND NOT TO MENTION THE MASSIVELY SCALED, AND VIGOROUSLY LUMINOUS LUCKY 38 CASINO THAT TOWERS A GUESTIMATED 20 TO 30 STORIES HIGH. ALL IN ALL, I THINK FALLOUT NEW VEGAS IS A GREAT GAME, WITH VERY UNCAPPED LIMITS AND A GREAT STORY. THEREFORE I RATE THIS GAME 10/10
a must buy for all fallout fans!
i loved all the fallouts back in the old days, but when fallout 3 came out it stepped the franchise into a whole new direction and made it work! it made what was already perfect even more perfect! then i heard about fallout new vegas it made me happy for almost a week i could not wait and when i got my hands on it i felt great i played at least 30 hours on it and im still not even close to being done theirs 100s of hours of gameplay on this and when the dlcs start coming out it will be glorious.but back to the review the graphics were alittle better than fallout 3 same engine just tweaked alittle so it works, gameplay is amazing 100s of hours of things to do you have the karma system again and factions(which tells you if they like you or hate you and it affects the ending), sound it couldent get any better, lasting appeal like i said 100s of hours of gameplay plus future dlcs in the mix add for almost an infinite experience i highly reccomend this game to everyone who enjoyed any fallout game this is a must buy!
Better than regular version
I think that the collectors edition will be better than the regular edition for several reasons. First off it has A hardcover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics, whitch will be awesome and it also has other stuff like. ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’ DVD. And a recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38” platinum chip. Also a fully customized Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. An original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for New Vegas! And finially “Lucky 7” poker chips. Each of the seven poker chips was designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
Fallout New Vegas a must have
I loved fallout 3 but not until a little while ago I'm getting this definitely worth the price.
The game is unbelievable, but if you are a hard core game who likes to play for hours on end, then you should know that this game crashes on the 360 and PS3 about 3-4 hours into the game ( on the xbox the frame rate will begin to diminish before it will crash )
Good but not great
Fallout 3 was incredible both graphically and the amount of custimization in the game. That being said, you bascially had to get GOTY or the dlc in order to really get a lot of enjoyment out of it. When i rented the original one it took me 7 days to beat the game start to finish with every side quest. Thats incredibly short for an rpg especially when u play it on its hardest difficulty. Anyway, this game looks like an expansion of the first, much like bioshock 2 was to bioshock. Itll have new characters guns and enviromental powers but i dont see it being as good as the third game. (which basically was entirely different from the first two) First, its under a new developer not bethsheda who made FOTY3 expect it to be more difficult but ultimetly very similar. Id wait a year or so and see if they make a GOTY for it so you wont have to spend as much for the dlc. Second people know what to expect and other then the difficullty and enviro plus weapons its not getting a whole makeover.....i definetly feel the second coming of bioshock 2
Addicted to Fallout
I played Fallout 3 and loved every second of it, i got all five add-ons, played over 200 hours and still want more, can't wait for this to come out so i can finally get more Fallout!
Can not Wait for New Vegas
I bought Fallout 1 because it was on clearance and I needed a new game for my computer. I bought Fallout 2 because Fallout 1 was so good. I waited on pins and needles for Fallout 3 because I was addicted to Fallout 1 and 2, the trailers for 3 had me expecting a lot of differences which have all been a great addition when compared to 1 and 2. Though I do miss the little fire dance when using the flamer. These new trailers for Fallout New Vegas sent me out to my local GameStop for a preorder. So far so good... I can not wait to see whats next...
