this game is a blast. lots of blood and guts. Lots of fun if you play online or with three of your closes friends because it has 4-player local multiplayer. The storyline is filled with non-sencical non-sense. But there isn't a need for storytelling. there are four charecters you can choose to play as, unless you buy buy the dlc. There are two game modes, one which the story unfolds, and the other is an arena mode, which is per say a deathmatch mode. Some of the tunes can get annoying, but wont bore you if your talking with your friends. if your a solo player this game can be stale at sometimes, just be sure to have another game tide you over till you want to play again. the game randomly has some screen tearing, not too bad though. and sometimes there are some funky camera angles. I say get it, if you like hack-and-slash

Well i bought this for my wife as she likes fairytale stuff and multiplayer games. And if that's all you want then this game is for you. It's really out there and very creative. I like the looks and graphics style of the game. Its just everything else that i have problems with. The controls are nothing great, not like your typical hack and slash game. You have to use the right joystick to attack which makes it real awkward. If you played castle crashers on Xbox arcade and think this will be like it, thing again. That's what i thought it'd be like. Anyways, onto another aspect of the game i dislike, the save points. Many times me and my wife would play for hours and think it saved our game but NOPE. One time we beat a boss and got an achievement so we called it quits for the nite. Went back to play it the next day and had to replay that whole level, very upsetting. And it's really hard to keep track of your character when playing with multiple people. Then you end up killing them on accident. Another thing is the enemies seem to be the same on each level and your faced with ridiculous amounts of them, getting old real fast. Basically I'd say the games a dud in my book.

I had fun playing this just because it's so different. The ability to play with someone couch co-op sets it apart and adds some value. The game play is alright but the colorful environments and crazy over the top violence makes it worth playing.

This game is all about hack and slash. Fans of that style of gaming will be pleased by this game as the whole emphasis is dropped right on top of it. The right thumbstick allows you to pull off gore like never before! (hehehe) The dynamic slicing is super cool as you can slice up your enemies in anyway. The game features and optional animation screen that closes in your enemies dismemberment (which can be turned off in the options menu). The liquid blood engine is also super fun as sliding across blood not only creates good times, but can help in the heat of battle when a bunch of enemies are hot on your tail. With over 150 weapons, this game gives you plenty of ways to fight. Hand to hand, blunt objects (from spoons of destruction to living bunny rabbits and beavers on sticks, plus weiners), slicing objects (wooden chainsaws, candy lance, even a gnome with his sharp and pointy hat, etc.), guns (shotguns, bow and arrows, candy rifle, a goose that shoots eggs out of its butt), potions (acid that will actually melt you enemies, love, fire, and more), and magical wands (which I haven't personally gotten to yet). The game features multiplayer, with plenty of arenas and can be compared to Super Smash Bros, only more simple and violent, and the great art direction sees every character and environment be modeled in this round box look. Free DLC with more characters and arenas are coming but only if you sign up for it. So you should sign up, get a copy, and have a fun hack n slash time!

This game failed. Had to many flaws. The killcam kept getting in the way and the graphics werent the best. The game was very short. Took one night to beat on hardcore. its also like impossible to start the levels over cuz u can die over and over. Overall not worth it unless you get the game for free

I mean this wasnt like the worst game I've ever played but it certainly wasnt the best one either, It was reallly just mindless violence that had kind of a bad story. I mean ya sure i enjoy hack and slash games but this is not really what i had in mind. The graphics are ok i guess but i would honestly just rent this game.
Rated 0 out of 10 Looks like a lot of fun!
All the bright colors, art design of the characters, the funnest hack n slashing I've seen in a while, and all the extras of over 140 weapons, drop in and out gameplay are shaping for a good looking game. I got my pre-order in, can't wait to get my hands on this thing and try out that dynamic slicing!
