Fable III Limited Edition
We'll see Molyneux...
The first Fable, in one word; Epic. The second Fable, drifted away from it's roots...the magic system was annoying. The costumes, even the one that looked like plate, offered no defense bonuses. The multiplayer in it wasn't needed, it just made the game worse. Although the story was interesting, it wasn't at all what I'd expected from playing the first. I've got no doubt Fable 3 will be a good play, and certainly something I've been waiting on... But I just wish the franchise would go back to some of their core mechanics in the first title. Gamertag, Code Name Rogue
Psyched for whats to come!
I have to agree that Lionhead and the Fable series are way under-rated. There is always someone out there that needs more. Nothing is ever enough. I mean, I will be the first to say that there is no video game out there that 100% completely delivers with every single thing, because you have too many people who want too many things. And yes Molyneux doesn't always follow through on all promises... but who cares. I mean, you can't be let down if you don't expect the world. Look at the games for what they are, brilliant. A lot of thought and time went into these games to please you. The first fable set a path for a whole new type of game and gameplay, the second re introduced that concept, but with extras and a new story. Now there is Fable 3, and I am super happy I didn't have to wait another 4 years to see it happen. I waited so long for Fable 2 and loved it, and now just 2 years later we can enjoy a new story and a whole new game! Fable 3 has a lot of the old features but with a whole lot more, and the fact that you don't become king at the end of the game ROCKS! I love the Fable games and I am definitely pre ordering this! Special Addition baby!
Lionhead Studios deserve more credit
Fable, the most underrated video game series of this generation. People make a fuzz about how great Halo is, how great Modern Warfare is but they always overlook Fable. I'm a type of person who would rather level up and build relationships with virtual characters. Fable does this and then some. Lionhead Studios are my favorite game developers and I believe they deserve more credit, I'm highly anticipating Fable III to be one of the best game I have ever played.
Something tells me, I won't be disappointed.
I loved the first game, was disappointed at how easy and fast the 2nd one was, but still loved it though. I can't wait to get this game. I hope they never stop making Fable games, they're so addicting!
i have played and beaten fable 1 and 2 and i love them i cant wait till this one comes out.
One of the best series, of all time, ever.
With all the choices you can make, with all the actions you can take, with all the promises you can break, you must prevail. Lionhead has always been one of my favorite gaming designers. Always setting the goals of gaming higher, always pushing the limits, always making people want more. This is what we have come to know and love about Lionhead. Since Black&White first stepped up to be a great trend setter, Lionhead has not disappointed since. They may have made some small mistakes, but no disappointments. And this is why I have made it my personal choice to always go with the Limited Editions of any Lionhead game. I got the Limited Edition of Fable II, why not continue the trend? I personally recommend this buy, the special unique items that come along with pre-ordering are alone worth it.
Will be great
Fable 1 was a fun game, repetitive, but overall fun. Fable 2 fixed some problems with Fable 1 but there was definitely more it could've done. I played Fable 2 for hours when it first came out, you can argue it was a relatively short story but if you did everything the game had to offer you were playing for a very long time. While the customization was great and there were a great amount of options for it there was something missing. From all the videos I've seen and articles I've read about Fable 3, it will fix that and do more. The customization will allow you to have your OWN character, your OWN fighting style, and your OWN kingdom. If you like games that offer action, adventure, and overall a fun time; Fable 3 will be a good buy. One thing I do recomend though is playing Fable 2, it's inexpensive and worth it. Plus it will help clue you in before you start playing Fable 3
Fable 3 Rocks
Fable 3 is good to be awsome. In Fable 3 the character will not be a child form like in Fable 1 or Fable 2, you began the game in your teenage years people of Albion will called you Prince or Princess. This is the first Fable that your character will have a voice and can choose different conversation options at certian points in the game. In the began of the game if you are a female character you will have a boyfriend named Elliot and if you are a male character you will have a girlfriend named Elise, in Fable 3 you can have children in the game you can also ues the dynamic touch to pick up the child and toss, carry and hug children of Albion and your own children also the player can Adopt a children in Fable 3. Theresa in Fable 1 and Fable 2 is returning in Fable 3 and also who is returning in the game is Reaver form Fable 2.
i really love the Fable series. my all time favorite would have to be the first one though. it is just a classic. the second one was alright but to me i didn't like how easy it was to level up. i think this one will pick up some of the slack i found in the second one even though i liked it. I'm really excited about it can't wait only a month away.
definitely going to preorder, but it doesn't say anything about getting a villager maker code. will i get one when it ships? Lionhead website says gamestop is on board with that, but...
