Rated 10 out of 10 by grimreaper96 not bad.
fable 2 regular edition was a good game although the story was intensly brutal it was also a little weak, the length was also dissapointing. I did appreciate the combat system, it was simple yet deep, in my opinion melee and magic were the deepest. I thought that the customization was okay in the regular edition but it could have used some armor. the sound was pretty good, I also liked the soundtrack. the game of the year edition has improved the game on so many levels. it has tacked 5-6 hours on to the original game the character custimization is way better with knothole knight armor and the biker&royal outfit along with the hobbe, balverine & hollowman suit. the new storyline is brilliant I really enjoyed knothole island the most. I also enjoyed be augment remover it was a handy tool. the sound didnt change at all but there was really no problem with it. this game is great and the price is a bargain. cant wait for three to come out this september, i'm out
Rated 9 out of 10 by lilstev3n Best X Box 360 game!
This game is truly the best game on the xbox 360, The game is pretty easy because you cant die, you just get knocked out and lose experience points. The game is also pretty short ranging from 10-15 hours, The story is okay, basically you try to get revenge on the man that killed your sister. The online is the weak point in this game, its limited to 2 people, you have to stay on the same screen and you cant load up your personal character. The game is fun because you can be who you want and do what you want, for example, assassinate someone, go on a bounty hunting mission, buy homes, or just get wasted in a bar. Their are also many side things you can do like find all 50 treasure chest, and destroy gargoyles. Without spoiling anything the ending was great, you make a major decision. The price is a bargain also considering the fact that you get the game and 2 game addons that add about 5-6 hours to the game. Fable 3 is coming out October 26 so you should buy this game and get fable 3 also. Overall this game is great except for one minor fault that the load times are extremely long.

I remember anticipating this game so much i couldnt get it off my mind. then the day came i popped the disc into my xbox and to find that the game gets extremely boring as you progress. the ending is just ridiculous, it just shows that the developers are lazy and dont want to put any effort into there game, WARNING SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!! you shoot the boss once and hes dead which made me want to snap the disc in half. ohh and another thing that angered me was the lead developer claimed is that fable 2 wouldnt have that invisible wall that fable had, WRONG!!!!!!!! they basicily replaced it with trees and rocks. Now to the1 good thing, the combat was way more fluid and refined i liked how u could mix all 3 fighting styles. all in all this game was a waist of 60 bucks and it takes you about 4 hours to beat. PLEASE for the love of god dont waste your money like i did. you'll just end up dissapointed

At first, the game was gripping and exciting. I couldn't put it down! But, shortly after the game proved glitchy and a bit disjointed. My 'husband' left me for no apparent reason even though I did everything right. The quests got longer and more tedious, and just as I got to the end of the game, where things seemed dark and interesting, there came the boss battle. Never in my life have I played a game with such a lazy ending it left me slackjawed. I ended up staring at my television is complete and utter disbelief. After beating the game, I made the choice to revive my family and all I got was my dog back and a stupid letter instead of actually reviving my sister, and Teresa made it clear that you were only a hero if you chose to revive every one else. After the shocking ending, I never picked it up again, but it's not as if the game has any replay value anyway. I thought perhaps I was being overly critical of the game since I am a big fan of strategy/RPG's with extensive storylines, but a friend asked to borrow it and even he was appalled by the 'final boss.' I haven't even bothered to get it back.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Picky Gamer Good game but...
Fable 2 Platinum Hits is a great deal you get the 2 full DLC Knothole Island and Into the future or something. The game is great, but is way too short and easy there is not one challenging part in it. You can beat the main story in probably about 2 hours. I maybe put 20 hours in the game beat all the main, side quests, and the DLC...not too long for an RPG. It's really fun until you own everything and money adds up quick. I have over 10 million dollars and only had this game for a week. Online gameplay isn't that fun you have to stay real close to your partner on the screen...and you get confused a lot on which one is you. Plus if you join their game you can't import your player you have to pick from pre-made people and plain basic weapons. This game is worth the small price and will keep you entertained for a week or so. So I will recommend it to everyone.
Rated 10 out of 10 by XNinjaxBeastX Fable 2...
i had the original Fable 2 and i hated the character customization in it and thats just about all i didnt like in that game....so i went and got Fable 2 platinum hits....i love it...im so glad i got it. theres armor and a royal suit and u can even dress up as a hollow man, balverine, or hobbe...i think the challenge could use some improvement but other than that Fable 2 platinum hits is a must have for any fable fan...theres an expansion called knothole island and theres quite a bit more to do and to buy on that island. theres an augment shop that also sells weapons with like 3 or 4 augment slots which would make any weapon crazy powerful! murgo (the guy that sells u and ur sister the music box at the beginning of the game) is back and in bowerstone market with some pretty kool stuff get this game...u wont regret it

fabel ii is one of or is my favorite games. It is a grate role-playing game with the aspets of an action game. the games methed of alowing you to play as any kined of character is grate you can be any thing form a mass mrderere to mother tresa and you get that way by ther way you play and intrakt with the ai aroud you. the magik sistem could use some work but they a changing that in fable iii and i found it anouing that when you play live in you friends world you dont play as your character but agen i think they are fixing that in fable iii so i can not wate for that and the new wepon morf sistem and an even more customizabull character and extreem morf. the now game comes out in november of this year so i think unless u want to roll over a saved game you should wate untill then see you online.
Rated 7 out of 10 by tmolina703 Underwhelming
After playing great RPGs like Oblivion and Mass Effect I was seriously expecting something along those lines. Fable 2 is very short...the story line isn't interesting (even with the bonus download content) The combat is real fun though...thats the only thing that kept me playing. I was able to buy most of the best guns and swords mid way through the game, which made the rest of the game a breeze. I like the idea of using 'augments' to enhance your items but they didnt provide that much of an upgrade. The graphics are awesome...so is the voice acting and sound effects. The glowing trail is a good idea to keep your eyes off the map but I still felt like it needed a mini map. It seems like they were trying to make Fable 2 appeal to casual gamers but keep the hardcore games satisfied.
Rated 10 out of 10 by lilsteven Great rpg to invest in
Fable 2 takes place in the fictional world of Albion, the world is so fun to explore, you can invest so many hours just exploring, and buying houses. The story line is okay, not too great. Combat is cool you can pick flintlock pistols, cross bows, or rifles. Your choices dont only affect your appereance but, also the way ppl think of you, and your surroundings. Places will literaly change based on your descisions. Graphics are cartooning, Music is spectacular, music is up there with games like fallout and halo. The to dlc's are okay knothole island is pretty cool you just run around and change the climate, see the future wasnt as great you fight these enemies in a color less world, anyways Fable 2 is a great game, get it and immserse yourself in Albion. 30+ hours.
Rated 9 out of 10 by GaminSince86 One of the best RPG's on the market.
I can understand why so many people are upset or didn't give Fable 2 high ratings. I played thourgh it with frame rate drops, freeze ups, and in one spot I got stuck where I couldn't get out. Even with all that and some other things I still had a lot of fun with this game. Fable is in its own RPG class and shouldn't be missed by any RPG gamers. I hope Lionhead Studios keeps working on the Fable series, because it would most definitly be a loss in the world of console gaming if they didn't. It has a lot of potential for greatness. If you haven't played any of the Fable games and think you might be intrested in RPG's then I would recommend Fable 2. Fable 3 isn't bad, but I enjoyed Fable 2 more and it has the DLC version so its probobly the better value for now.
