two great games for one low price. Doesn't matter if you're a "run n gun" or RPGer these will fit both styles and might just give you a chance to try out a new genre too. Fable story line is always good, and with the open exploring it's bound to keep you busy. Halo gives you some great challenges.

halo 3 is still awesome and people still play it online and fable 2 is awesome so lets get this for 28$ and walk away and play this until we beat them both which will take like 3-7 days so why not

Rated 10 out of 10 by Clarkey A perfect pick-up for new 360 owners
One of the neat things about the current console gaming era is the abundance of REALLY good deals. If you are a new 360 or PS3 owner you have a LOT of really good games available that are REALLY cheap simply because of their age. Whether you have just purchased a console or you are looking to beef up your gaming library, both Halo 3 and Fable 2 are both very, very cool games that will consume a lot of time for a very low price.
Halo 3 is a sci-fi first-person-shooter that won all sorts of awards in it's day and still holds up very well today. Lengthy campaign and fun multiplayer, although you should perhaps do some research to see how many people are still playing it online.... I'd imagine quite a few but I don't know that first-hand. The graphics hold up pretty well as does the overall presentation.... Halo 3 should be considered a modern classic by fans of first-person-shooters and a very good game by all others.
Fable 2 is a hack-and-slash somewhat-open-world RPG with entertaining combat and a juvenile sense of humor. As you gain experience you put points into melee combat, ranged combat (using firearms and crossbows), and magic. The thing separating the Fable series from other, similar, type games is how your character evolves. Eat a lot of cake: get really fat. Use a lot of magic: your body becomes covered in glowing blue runes. Do good deeds: get a more angelic appearance. Do evil deeds: start to look the part. This allows for a lot of replay due to different character builds, appearances, and even multiple endings. A very enjoyable and lengthy game.
Both of these games are must-owns for 360 owners. If you are a new 360 owner this is a very inexpensive way to pick up a few hundred potential hours of enjoyment.....if you have owned a 360 for a while and just missed these games I'd also highly recommend them. In terms of bang-for-the-buck you won't find too many other deals better than buying these 2 games, either together or separately. One last little tidbit: if you are interested in Fable 3 or Halo 4 and haven't played their predecessors: you should. It's usually much more enjoyable to play through a series in order rather than backwards: that way each game adds more to the mix; playing them backwards can often lead to the earlier games being unplayable due to all the newer features being removed.
