Rated 8 out of 10 by MRJAYinPA Solid game, very addictive.
CODEMASTERS always delivers a solid race game and there is no exception with F1 2010. The graphics are tight, but nothing extraordinary, they keep it as realistic as possible. The sound is perfect it sounds just like formula1 cars racing at high speeds. The physics is what makes this game great and different than any other game out, which it should be this is the only true F1 sim out there. Now the lasting appeal is what kills this game. This game is very true to life and has all the F1 tracks and cars in the game from real F1 racing. Thats roughly about 18-19 tracks and basically no car customization. I didnt really mind though because when racing online everyone basically has identical cars except for slight adjustments you can make like gear ratio and braking. Overall its a great game with great online, but after awhile it can get boring over a few weeks when the original thrill is gone. Still a very solid game.

WOW, is all I could say within ten minutes of gameplay, and then came the "I want this game!" (as I'm currently renting it). The graphics are truly spectacular, realistic tracks, scenes around the tracks, real-time weather, official drivers and teams, this game has it all and put you behind the wheel of a F1 car. From research and development to sponsors to your name in being a F1 driver there is nothing you can't do on this game! Codemasters did an excellent job in this game. There is a multiplayer but, I haven't had a chance to check it out, so I don't know what to expect or how big the community is, so I can not make a statement on it. Although, the single player mode I would say can make up for it if it were bad! Granted I do not see the multiplayer mode being bad considering the game is amazing in all aspects of it. Great for child to adult gamers, for anyone who likes racing games, I can safely say this GAME IS FOR YOU! If you like this game a little heads up F1: 2011 is coming out 9-20-11 so expect to see this title and it should be even better!

After being a fan of Formula 1 for many years, the news of this game made me extremely happy. I closely followed the development and bought this as soon as I found it in-store. This game is a magnificent display of what a Formula 1 game can and should look like. It has everything apart from lasting appeal.
The natural way to play this game is through career mode, where you can play 3, 5, or 7 seasons. The first season is great, where you have to learn every new track and battle for positions. However, once you reach the second season, you will have no trouble beating the AI even on the highest difficulty settings. The challenge will be gone and the game will get repetitive.
I enjoyed this game extremely much, but only for about a week. I am now considering selling this game and buy something else.
All in all, this game starts out promising but ends in disappointment.
Rated 9 out of 10 by DanM Surprisingy Great
I didnt expect much from this, but I bought it anyway because Im an F1 fanatic and I own every F1 title released since the original Play Station. With this I was immediatly hooked, the graphics and sound are as real as it gets. But this is a careeer based game, not like previous titles where you pick your favorite driver and race as him in this game you are you. You have to start off driving for one of the bottom feeder teams and build your reputation up before you get the call from Marinello. The only flaws in this game are the flaws in general currently in F1, no refueling, no USGP etc. But you may want to consider the force feedback wheel because shifting with the X and A buttons, accelerating and braking with the right and left trigger, and steering with the knobs all at once in Monaco or Singapor can get a little chaotic. I just hope that this is not the last, for those of you keeping score at home this is the first console based F1 title released in the U.S. since "Formula One" was released as PS3 (exclusive) launch title and it was outdated by a year when it came out. So lets all hope that F1: 2011 with hit U.S. retailers next year.
Rated 10 out of 10 by RonJohn Best Formula One game ever!!
If you already played all the previous F1 titles over the years, from F1 Grand Prix for the PS1 to F1 world championship for the PS3, then you need to experience F1 2010. When I first bought the game, already I was amped about the smooth gameplay and the graphics never looked any better. The Dynamic weather system made by Codemasters makes every race feel like a real race in real life. F1 fans would crave to this game and I'm one of them. Multiplayer, I think, could be just a slight better, but nonetheless, it is THE best racing game out on the market and it makes the NASCAR titles from EA Sports look like pushover games. I recommend Every gamer to buy this game and play online multiplayer or single player career mode. You're gonna love it!!!
Rated 10 out of 10 by LizardKing521 Legit Racing Game! Must buy!!
I am new to the whole F1 scene since I live in the states, but after watching some gameplay videos and reading on forums I went out and got the game. I am 100% glad that I did. Only down side to this game would be a minor small bugs, such as AI cars not doing a pit stop with Fuel sim on. But beside the small things, the online game modes are amazing. Sprint Mode is a quick 3 lap race and very good way to learn tracks and how people play. The Penalty system in this game is awesome compared to Forza 3's horrible rules where anyone can just smash you and get no kind of repercussion for their actions. In this game you smash people you will get a Time Penalty or a Black Flag DSQ. If you are looking for a true racing game this is the one to play!

I'm as old as video games :(. I've watched NASCAR since it first aired in 1979' actually listened to races before that! This F1 game has made me realize that F1 Oscar superior to NASCAR. You have no idea how much that pains me. This games amazing. I've played hundreds of racing games including every NASCAR console game. This one game stands above all others in the aspect of points racing, realism and replay. I bought this game after learning about it on Top Gear. I've layer the recent NASCAR, release, a grand improvement over the pathetic EA releases, but nothing in comparison to this F1 racing. This game is so good I have even started watching F1 racing on TV. It's the best and most realistic sports racing game ever!

I can honestly say I didn't know what to think of this game when I saw it in the store. I hoped it would turn out to be the most amazing racing sim in the world. And well... I would have to say it sure is. The graphics are unbelievable, the cars performance is amazing, and the challenge is just unbeatable. I am a huge Forza 3 fan, I race it on full difficulty with no assists, and I win every time. In F1 2010, however, I'm hhappy just to recieve a top 5 finnish! F1 2010 will keep you at your Xbox for hours on end just in career mode. Oh yea, there's online play as well. I havn't even gotten to that yet, I'm just too amazed at how real the career play is!
Rated 10 out of 10 by silverfoxx From hard core down to amateur Great Game
I have been waiting for a very long time for a racing simulation game that addresses the Formula 1 format. From the interviews to actual on track racing , this is the best racing sim I have raced going back at least to my nascar racing days (sim wise) Nascar 3 for the PC. The hype is real and the game is GREAT. I use a steering-foot pedal combo and I a running it in XBOX 360. Graphics in one word awesome. The one down NOTE, and I choose that word specifically, is the top end whine is a bit off on maybe the highest pitch, but that's it.. If you are at all skeptical as I was........take a chance on this one it's for real.
Rated 7 out of 10 by best0reveiwer Its Good, But it gets me frustrated
It seems like a great game and I love almost everything about it. One big problem i have with it is when you tap that tiniest part of gravel, dirt, or grass off of the track while on a turn u spin out. Also I do not like all of the penalties for stupid things. If you are a big f1 fan and like to game then go for this game. But I like to get the maximum amount of fun and realism out of my games. Yes, this game is very realistic but I can't stand how frustrading it is to spin out and even when i do not spin out I can't seem to get a high ranking. For me I would prefer NFS shift 2 unleashed.
