Rated 10 out of 10 by Animegirl1723 Worth playing through to the end.
I admit I was a bit turned off by the fact that this game was turn-based. But, as I got through the storyline I fell in love with the characters in the game. The down-side is when players encounter bosses throughout the game they have to spend hours training to level high enough to stand a chance against them. The Ice Queen is not exception--the main characters have to be above level 60 to beat her. Again, hours of training will give gamers the only chance of surviving the Ice Queen's first battle in her Ice Castle. I highly recommend stocking up on items before any boss battle. This game is extremely hard for casual gamers, because of the countless hours of training. Overall, I wish there was a sequel of this game. It's completely worth buying, but players just need to have patience when playing this game. It is frustrating at times, since every move you make triggers a battle. But, players can use that to their advantage to skill up and grow stronger. It's worth finishing.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Wolfntee Buy it for the Story
When I first bought this game, I was expecting a decent online mode with plenty of people to challenge. i was wrong... There are people on the leaderboard with 1 win! What I'm trying to say is, if you buy this game, don't expect to play online. Though since I could never find an online match, I played the story mode. The story mode is surprisingly very good! The graphics are decent, the battle system is very original and strategic, and the plotline is very interesting. The characters are pretty unique, and have personalities of their own. Beside from the main story characters, you can create "Golems", or magical creatures to help you out in combat. There are plenty of golems to find, buy, and make, as well as upgrades and weapons for the main characters. Unfortunately there isn't any downloadable content since this game isn't listed on the Xbox marketplace(don't worry there is still achievements) Well basically, buy this game if you want a unique rpg with a great storyline.
Rated 1 out of 10 by the next hemingway... Enchanted Arms is a waste of money and time.
I don't know where to start with how awful this game is! Character design was off the wall, they had interesting style with one or two characters but the rest looked like crap. The texture they chose for the whole character model was one that you would find on a metal christmas ornament, everything seemed to have a shiny embossed feel which made they characters seem like living action figures instead of people. The voice acting was really off, the inflections were random and made listening to the dialogue annoying. The Battle system was a terrible attempt at grid map play. Character "customization" was limited to stats and a weapon, with the Golems being limited to their name as customization. The Golems are a poor excuse for not having a good party system from the get go. most games you can play solo and fear no evil, until the story is ready for characters to join in. Also the jump between different groups of characters isn't transitional at all, its very abrupt. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. ANYONE.

I am so amazed at how this game is. It's so breathtaking, how all the visuals and graphics look (I just got my X-Box a couple of days ago) and I like how all of the characters have their own different, unique personality, like Matorosa or whatever his name is. The Battle engine is pretty good, but sometimes gets a tad aggravating when the floor color matches the grid color. The achievements are pretty easy to obtain, all you have to do is play the game! I already have 3 achievements, and my gamerscore is over 200. It's a start, I guess. The story is one of the best. I'm a die hard RPG Fan, and have played almost all of the best hits for the PS2, and a few for the Wii, this one might have the best story. At first, everything seemed so calm and peaceful, but when terror struck, I didn't see it coming! If you're an RPG fan like me, or are looking for some easy achievement points to get a nice GamerScore, check out this game. It'll be worth ever penny.

I am fan of RPG's as far back as the phrase was written. I was a little unsure of this game at first because of the grid pattern fighting system, because other than fire emblem I have been really turned off by most, but this game nailed it so even those who shy from this type of fighting could like it. The story, gameplay, visuals and even the personalities are easy to appreciate. The creators of this game managed to find a way to pull you in and never let you go.Kinda of like Makota would do to Toya if he had a chance(lol). I guess it comes down to this.Me being a casual gamer.I started this game and never played another game until I made it to the end of this game.I say that because I play so many games but just for an hour here and a there.Constantly waiting to pulled into the games world. But enchanted pulled me in from the moment I realized what I had been missing from staynig away from grid based RPG's. One last note. This game will always keep you informed of what to do,and where to go.The user friendliness of this game is second to none.

The creators of this game clearly took steps to attempt to break the mold. The characters have inventive personalities, some more bright than others. Even the character design is show cased well in one or two characters, but as for the rest they are carbon copies we have all seen before. The game play can be entertaining, but this is short lived and quickly becomes repetitive. The stroyline is a forced attempt at conflict, and while predictable has moments where you believe they simply added a twist for the sake of a twist. In many ways this is a bad, and I stress bad, clone of a final fantasy platform. Some of the characters, monsters, or encounters will have you saying I have seen this before...because you have, if you played any of the FF series. Graphically it can be attractive, and other times it can seem like everything is covered in a thin layer of plastic wrap. Over all, not a game I would buy knowing what I do now.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Surge101 Great undiscovered game!
This game is really great, and for it only being **** now, that's a heck of a deal... I paid ****, and still thought it was worth it. The graphics in this game are really amazing... Despite it being just a 3rd party title the visuals are really amazing. The music is pretty good. The game features a turn based battle style which I felt Ubisoft did really well with this game... The story is a pretty typical Japanese RPG storyline, but not bad none the less. Controls in both battles and world roaming are pretty solid. I have played this game for a good 60 hours or so, and am still not at a 100% completion level, still having some golems to find... Most battles you will get by pretty easily, however they did a really good job with challenging you in the boss battles, you really have to strategize in choosing your fighters, and what attack sequences you are going to use... Trust me you won’t win all your battles in one shot...
Rated 3 out of 10 by hughjazz44 Worst Xbox 360 RPG!
This is the worst current gen RPG I've played! It's not the worst RPG ever, but it's definitely the worst to come out in recent years. If you want a good RPG experience, get one of the following games instead: Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, or Tales of Vesperia. The battle system got old FAST! I found myself playing about 95% of the battles in Auto mode, and holding down the Fast Forward button. Battles are boring and require no strategy (Except for some boss battles). Recruitable Golems are almost completely worthless. All of the human characters are better fighters, and you can actually customize the human character's abilities. Voice acting was less than good. The voices suited the characters but they tend to overact. If you've already played every other good Xbox RPG and are still thirsting for more, you might as well try this (Since it's so cheap now). However, Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant are just around the corner, and Star Ocean 4 comes out the beginning of next year. Better games are coming. Maybe you should just save your money...

After having this game for almost 3 years, and playing it off and on, i have yet to finish it. it has no auto save function i'm aware of so if you mess up or you arent ready for a particular fight and havent saved in a while you lose several hours of work. I know the common rule of thumb is to save every so often, but if you intend to play for several hours you get sucked into the game and forget to save. Aside from this (in my opinion) major flaw, the game play was fun. the fights required more strategy than other rpg's and allowed for some additional customization that i would have like to see in more rpgs. The one problem i had with the fights is that it takes a very long time for the attacks to finish and the fast forward doesnt help much at all. The upgrade panel could have used some optimization, because i would have to go out of the way to remember which section upgraded what.
