Rated 0 out of 10 Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Demo
When I first saw the Dragon Ball: Raging Blast demo up on the Xbox Live Marketplace, I nearly lost it. I would consider myself a truly hardcore DBZ fan, and playing this demo so far has been nothing short of amazing. I have to play at least 5 or 6 battles in a row before I move on to another game. The controls, while they took some getting used to, are actually layed out brilliantly. The gameplay itself is extremely fluid and smooth; It took well over 25-30 matches before I ran into my first gameplay glitch. It looks and feels like the show battles in every sense: Destructable environments, vanishing attacks, dodges, voluntary flight, unique special moves, even down to the way the characters power up. I am astounded that many so-called "hardcore" DBZ fans dislike this game, because in my opinion this is as close to the show as possible. I give the demo a 4.25/5, only because 3 characters are playable. This is an absolute must buy for any DBZ enthusiast, hardcore or not.
Rated 9 out of 10 by supergoku Really fun fighting game
I have always loved the DBZ games not only because I'm a huge fan of DBZ but also they are really fun fighting games. This game is so addictive I wasn't able to put it down for weeks. The story of this game is the normal DBZ story but the cool thing they added was the what-if stories which are really cool another cool thing they added which makes the game even more addictive is the fact that after you finish the story you go back and complete these different missions that unlock after you finish a fight. When you complete these missions you get stars which you can use at the star shop to buy secret battles, new outfits, and story conversations. The few things I don't like about this game is that there are a lot less characters than in past DBZ games but that's about my only complaint. The graphics in this game are really awesome and as always in DBZ games there are tons of modes to play making this game a game you will be playing for a very long time.
Rated 3 out of 10 by Gun Guru personally likely burst limit better
Well i preordered this game cause on a limb one day i rented burst limit cause i was bored at my house. I really like burst limit. I was a fan of the cartoon growing up and decided to rent it and played the hell out of it. when i saw raging blast and heard of all the characters it had i wanted to get it. well the controls wear nothing like burst limit and the A.I was terrible. i wish they would make a game like burst limit that had more story and more characters. Maybe add the GT saga to it just as an add on. I didnt like how the special moves were placed and the movement of the characters. I really enjoyed seeing brolly and ss3 goku which was tight but the game wasnt enough for me to enjoy. i believe it is a waste of money. Ive never played the ps2 or psp versions but if you like a game that moves when you touch the joystick then get burst limit not raging blast. Iam open to any opinions for a game like that.
Rated 2 out of 10 by Ravious Compaired to other hits...
When I bought this game I was over joyed I finally had a Dragon Ball title for my xbox. I was a fan after I played Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for PS2, which I still play today cause it's just that good. So the minute I got home I slammed the game in and went straight to versus. The graphics were my first complaint, but for an expression of an imaginary world they were descent. I liked the idea of the ability to dodge attacks with a button combo (RT and B) but unfortunately that was the only thing about gameplay I enjoyed. Unlike Budokai Tenkaichi (BT) 3 the character's expressions in this game are hideously off que and if they yell something during an attack it comes almost minutes after the attack has been completed or dodged. The controls are annoyingly difficult, to get up after you've been knocked down you have to rotate the left analog in repeated circles for like an hour (time exaggeration). Overall if you have BT 1, 2, or 3 for an older system, stick with them. Because if you venture out to get a newer but poor performing version you can't say you weren't warned.
Rated 10 out of 10 by dbz4life BEST GAME OF THE CENTURY BY FAR!!!!!
This game is perfect for anyone that likes any fighting game. I was so impressed when i bought this that i didnt know whether i wass dreaming or going crazy. This game is perfect 4 all you dragon ball z fans out there. This game is so good that now i will wait even longer for the computer mmorpg game dragon balll online forever. This game has a lot of characters. not as many as i was expecting but a lot. Tenkaichi 3 had more characters then this. but the combinations an the super moves where enough to make up for it. This is the best dragon ball z game so far. congrats creators. I really hope they make raging blast 2. Because with all the ratings they are getting this game will sell off the shelves in a few days. maybe even a few houirs. I have always loved dragon ball z since i was 6. so you all think i am just giving them a good review. but my brother hates dbz and i even caught him playing it.

This will be the best DBZ game ever.I played the demo and i usually play 12 battles before I get off of it.I'm going crazy.I cant wait till this comes out.Everyday I call gamestop to make sure it's coming out November 10th.Dude this is going to be the best fighting game on Xbox 360 and PS3 so far.My favorite thing about this game is the graphics, the moves, and the game itself. When I found out that if you reserve it you automaticually get Goku,Vegeta,Gohan,Trunks,Gotenks and Piccolo I lost it.But when I found out you also get Broly SSJ3 I hopped around the house like a monkey.I went straight out and reserved it.Even though there are only 70 characters its good that they took out the useless characters from DBZ BT3 (e.x. Devilman,General Blue). All I'm saying is that this the game people should get if you're a person who loves fighting games or you're a hardcore DBZ fan (like me)

this is the best game ever. I honestly prefer this over raging blast 2 because its easier to control you characters
Rated 0 out of 10 Dragonball Z is awesome!
Hey everyone! I can't wait for this game! The last game was epic none the less! I played some of the Wii DBZ games and loved them, but the Xbox360 ones are a lot better. I heard this one was going to be a lot like the Budaki Tenkichi series which I am really looking forward to. I liked the fact in the other games you could change the scenery by smashing your opponent into objects. I hope they do a lot better on the online version of the game because the Burst limit online was horrible. I had so much lag and players would defeat me like nothing flat. You could not even power up enough to get ahead. I am a true DBZ fan and it got me to work out again and lifting weights after stopping for 3 years. I am healthy as I have ever been and cannot wait for this game! I have already pre-ordered it from my local gamestop in my city and will await its arrival! :)
Rated 10 out of 10 by ref One of the best dbz games ever.
This game is very good. I preordered my copy and I picked it up today definetly recommend this product to anyone who is a fan of dbz. I know a lot of people get tired of playing dbz games because of the same story but there are a lot of games that people don't complain about that are repetitive (all army games, Halo etc) that's why I don't like army games and I don't like the entire Halo franchise I picked up this game today instead of the highly anticipated cod wmodern warfare 2 to me the army games and Halo are the main games that are repetitive. This game is very good in my opinion and even though it doesn't have as many characters as dbz bt 3 and 2 it is still a good game. Like I said if you are a big dbz fan pick it up if you are not you will probably still like it but you probably won't like it but to me its one of the best fighting games ever.
Rated 8 out of 10 by DBZattic Great way to start next gen 3D fighters
This series gets alot of hate from Tenkaichi fans. It's a great game, regardless. The graphics are perfect, better then the sequel because the graphics are more true to the anime. The story is quite in depth, and even has someone What If? Missions. The fighting mechanics are nice, but they could be better. It's still quite fastly paced battles. The reason I give the lasting appeal a 6 is because of the character roster. It doesn't have Ultimate Gohan, and it could have a few more. The music is amazing, but sometimes the sounds in battle get a little obnoxious. All in all, I believe this game is just as good as RB2, and the only XBOX 360 DBZ game that will be better then this is Xenoverse.
