Dragonball: Raging Blast
Dragon Ball Raging Blast
Dragon Ball Raging Blast is a Dragonball fighting game by Spike, it takes you through the entire DBZ story line. This game does some things right but many wrong. First of all the graphics were very good they were able to successfully bring theses characters to life in a 3-D form with excellent animations especially when it came to super attacks. The sound as alright nothing bad but it never really set the mood just right for each fight as well as they have just been using the same sound tracks from the Tenkaichi series. The gameplay was passible with many great super attacks that were very flashy and entertaining, but it ultimately fell short with some terrible camera angles, the D-pad being used to power up, the right stick being used for supers and some other confusing controls, made it a less than pleasurable experience and truly killed some of the game's entertainment value and made it boring at times. The lasting appeal was low because the game only included the dragon ball z story, and still missed some key battles such as super buu vs Gohan and mecha freiza vs trunks, and only had one movie (Broly) completely ignoring the rest, it made up for that with a very boring "what if" section and still calling it's self a full game. Overall it was an OK game but nothing to get upset about if you decide to skip it, I'm giving it a 6/10 because it just wasn't complete and had some terrible controls.
Really fun fighting game
I have always loved the DBZ games not only because I'm a huge fan of DBZ but also they are really fun fighting games. This game is so addictive I wasn't able to put it down for weeks. The story of this game is the normal DBZ story but the cool thing they added was the what-if stories which are really cool another cool thing they added which makes the game even more addictive is the fact that after you finish the story you go back and complete these different missions that unlock after you finish a fight. When you complete these missions you get stars which you can use at the star shop to buy secret battles, new outfits, and story conversations. The few things I don't like about this game is that there are a lot less characters than in past DBZ games but that's about my only complaint. The graphics in this game are really awesome and as always in DBZ games there are tons of modes to play making this game a game you will be playing for a very long time.
BEST GAME OF THE CENTURY BY FAR!!!!!
This game is perfect for anyone that likes any fighting game. I was so impressed when i bought this that i didnt know whether i wass dreaming or going crazy. This game is perfect 4 all you dragon ball z fans out there. This game is so good that now i will wait even longer for the computer mmorpg game dragon balll online forever. This game has a lot of characters. not as many as i was expecting but a lot. Tenkaichi 3 had more characters then this. but the combinations an the super moves where enough to make up for it. This is the best dragon ball z game so far. congrats creators. I really hope they make raging blast 2. Because with all the ratings they are getting this game will sell off the shelves in a few days. maybe even a few houirs. I have always loved dragon ball z since i was 6. so you all think i am just giving them a good review. but my brother hates dbz and i even caught him playing it.
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Demo
When I first saw the Dragon Ball: Raging Blast demo up on the Xbox Live Marketplace, I nearly lost it. I would consider myself a truly hardcore DBZ fan, and playing this demo so far has been nothing short of amazing. I have to play at least 5 or 6 battles in a row before I move on to another game. The controls, while they took some getting used to, are actually layed out brilliantly. The gameplay itself is extremely fluid and smooth; It took well over 25-30 matches before I ran into my first gameplay glitch. It looks and feels like the show battles in every sense: Destructable environments, vanishing attacks, dodges, voluntary flight, unique special moves, even down to the way the characters power up. I am astounded that many so-called "hardcore" DBZ fans dislike this game, because in my opinion this is as close to the show as possible. I give the demo a 4.25/5, only because 3 characters are playable. This is an absolute must buy for any DBZ enthusiast, hardcore or not.
Great way to start next gen 3D fighters
This series gets alot of hate from Tenkaichi fans. It's a great game, regardless. The graphics are perfect, better then the sequel because the graphics are more true to the anime. The story is quite in depth, and even has someone What If? Missions. The fighting mechanics are nice, but they could be better. It's still quite fastly paced battles. The reason I give the lasting appeal a 6 is because of the character roster. It doesn't have Ultimate Gohan, and it could have a few more. The music is amazing, but sometimes the sounds in battle get a little obnoxious. All in all, I believe this game is just as good as RB2, and the only XBOX 360 DBZ game that will be better then this is Xenoverse.
Dragonball - A - Thon #7
I'm going to take a break from the Legacy of Goku trilogy and review the first Raging Blast. I'll review the 2nd one eventually but let's review the first. Raging Blast is a pretty good game. It's certainly not BT3 but it's still pretty good. It's got some Fan Fic charcters like SSJ Vegeta and SSJ Broly and What If? sagas. I remember one was Vegito vs Gogeta which was pretty fun. I couldn't find alot of flaws with Raging Blast except the controls. The controls for both Xbox 360 and PS3 are both mediocre and didn't feell like BT3, which it should have since it is the same style. All in all Raging Blast is a good entry but BT3 is better.
DB Raging Blast
This most recent installment of DBZ is by far a superior game to those that came before it. This game has many characters to choose from; a small selection of large maps and follows the dbz story line fair enough. There are some things that they could improve on, the tanning dojo, the world tournament and versus mode has seemed to be more difficult to figure out for beginners to the dbz series. However i have been a long standing fan of the dbz series so for me ignoring these small blemishes, however annoying they can be, are something i can over come easily. Some may argue that things like the graphics are bad well this is dbz this series started out as a manga. Over all this game, like all dbz games, this game will be truly appreciated by fans.
personally likely burst limit better
Well i preordered this game cause on a limb one day i rented burst limit cause i was bored at my house. I really like burst limit. I was a fan of the cartoon growing up and decided to rent it and played the hell out of it. when i saw raging blast and heard of all the characters it had i wanted to get it. well the controls wear nothing like burst limit and the A.I was terrible. i wish they would make a game like burst limit that had more story and more characters. Maybe add the GT saga to it just as an add on. I didnt like how the special moves were placed and the movement of the characters. I really enjoyed seeing brolly and ss3 goku which was tight but the game wasnt enough for me to enjoy. i believe it is a waste of money. Ive never played the ps2 or psp versions but if you like a game that moves when you touch the joystick then get burst limit not raging blast. Iam open to any opinions for a game like that.
This the most amazing game ever. Fun for hardcore and casual gamers. Fun to play and easy to learn controls. Cant wait fo raging blast 2 to come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is awesome

This game is awesome for every type of gamer out there. there is tons of characters, epic battles, and emormous battle fields, Personally i like to play as the powerful super saiyan version of vegeta and i fight super saiyan goku. This game is one of the greatest I have ever played. I would prefer it to everyone...
