by BurpingNickel I am so gonna Pre-Order this...
I loved Dragon Age 1 and I had fun with Dragon Age 2, sure anyone can look at 2 and see the flaws, but it was still fun. I look forward to continuing my Dragon Age experience. Come on players, you know regardless of Dragon Age 2's short comings you enjoyed it. Plus, just think, you get to see what happened to Morrigan, everyone liked her.

This is very reminiscent of the release of Fallout 3 where the first games were so badly done it had characters floating in air and just was total chaos and a complete waste of money. It finally worked after multiple patches were sent out but I'm sad that Dragon Age Inquisition isn't working right. It just stopped completely on my Xbox 360 at a point in the game play and it won't even turn back on. When it stops the whole system freezes and I have to turn the machine off. I don't know what is the poorly designed game right now or the turmoil happening on the internet attacks on Sonny. I can watch the TV/movie apps section. But the game hasn't played right before this and it's rather boring compared to Dragon Age II. II had much better graphics and game play and I've played it many times. This one seems too long. Sure doesn't look anything like the previews. Loosing interest rapidly--do not recommend it at all..

My only regret is that I didn't have the cash to completely pay off my deluxe edition version...... BUT........... I will have it. LOOKS AMAZING... DA:O kicked off the great series with a bang, even though the sluggish combat really got to me but still a great game. DA2 is my favorite so far til Inquisition. I know I will get hate but...... DA2 was not as bad as people claim. the only REAL downfall was that if you wanted to go somewhere from say lowtown there was a loading screen, that and the massive reuse of all the dungeons, the combat was vastly improved as well and also the human only kinda thing, but to get a consistent story without having to do each scene for what 3 different races and 3 different race families, considering that it was fine for me. DA:I is just........ so much win.... Got my save from DA:O and DA:A prepped. working on my DA2 save to import it all.
Rated 1 out of 10 by ThisGameIsARealFreeza Freeze much?...
Fun game, I enjoyed the 30 minutes I got to play it. Too bad after playing it for a minute it froze at a load screen. I restart and now I can't continue my game. Create a new character after many tries to continue, and what do you know, the whole thing started all over again. I went through 3 characters then decided I must have a messed up disc(because I have a good new xbox).Go get it swapped for a new one, same thing. Glad I wasted $60 and two trips to gamestop. If your thinking of getting this game, dont, get Far cry 4. Now that's a game.

Main problem with the game is the "Play" disc continuaslly spins causing the console to overheat. The graphics are just sad and like watered-down. The soundtrack is decent, but all sound cuts out from time to time and sometimes what npc's say to you is garbled. This No Skyrim...not even same ballpark! I could be a little biased though as I consider Skyrim to be the best game ever and Mass Effect the best series. Wait to buy until "Play" disc spin problem is fixed or better yet put your money into DA Origins Ultimate with all dlc, which is a better game than Inquisition.

I am going to try this game with the XB360 this time. The only reason I will is the graphics with BF4 and FarCry 3 impressed me on the Xbox360 to do so.
Why am I NOT playing it on a XB1 or P4? I hear from too many people that the graphics are not improved enough over the Xbox360 to justify the cost. And, the DirectX physics are still lagging in the programming of present games to take advantage of the 360's full capability that it already has.
In other words, programmers are not taking FULL advantage of the current hardware in today's machines...so why even bother until games come out that do? The only reason the consoles like XboxONE and Playstation 4 have 6 cores is NOT for gaming but so it can spy on you in the background with other memory intensive components. When I play a game I do not want some stranger to IM me and ask me goofy questions-I just want to be left alone and definitely not looked at through a camera.
Anyway, I hope this game fully utilizes the 360's capability like most games have not up to this point. I also hope it is as good and engrossing as the first edition and not a let down like the second in the story line. I was hoping the second edition of Dragon Age would pick up right where the first had left off- it did not. Why can't sequels in these games pick up where the story ended? They never do, instead, they start off with completely different characters and storyline.
If Dragon Age Inq payed attention to graphic quality and storyline I am pretty sure they will have a hit because everything else is already ready.
