Rated 8 out of 10 by gobluedave Great family game, good for kids. Much needed!
I think i read somewhere that a reviewer had been waiting forever for a game like this to play with his kids. I have a 10 and 6 yr old and there aren't many games we can all do together, especailly with my wife! This game has enough that adult gamers won't get bored, adult non gamers will catch on pretty quick, and kids will just have fun beating each other up and getting power ups. You compete against each other, and also have to help each other, which is a good thing. Part of me wishes however that we could turn off the podium at the end bc my 6 yr old gets discouraged always being last. Nevertheless, even when she gets frustrated, she usually comes back a few minutes later to try again. Other wishes would be that the screen pans out more when you have four people going in different directions. But that's all i can pick on. This game will probably be in my kids XBOX non-stop for several weeks, at least until MW3 comes out and my son takes it over. Highly recomend this for anyone with a family that wants a good puzzler for the kids to play with. Family game night on the XBOX!

I am a huge fan of Disney video games, my problem is that most of them suck. But when I first saw Disney Universe, I was so excicted. Is this Disney's turn to better games? Well, sort of. GAMEPLAY: Simple, kids will get used to it very easilly. I heard this game is much like the LEGO games, but I never played a LEGO game so I don't know. You have unlimited lifes, which is great for younger players. GRAPHICS: Not stunning, but good for a Disney game. SOUND: The soundtrack isn't the best, but it's good. My favorite song from it is King of Pride Rock from The Lion King levels, not the song in the background, but when you go to one of the ''arcade'' things, THAT song. LASTING APPEAL: The game is very short, there is DLC, but it doesn't really do much. OVERALL: While I'd recommend other platformers, Disney Universe is an OK one.

I'm a 24 year old male who actually enjoys games like Halo, Assassins Creed, Mass effect, Battlefield, etc etc. However, I have 4 2nd cousins who are ages 2-15. Whenever they come over I never had any games for us to play as a family to help pass time till they were picked up or bed time. I came across this and played the free demo on the XBL marketplace. Instantly bought it afterwards. It is up to 4 players co op which is very hard to find for the xbox. All of the kids love playing it and I have to admit I do enjoy it myself. This is a great game for those needing something to play with friends, family, siblings. It's a very fun game that has disney characters from all sorts of shows such as lion king and nightmare before christmas to lelo and stitch. Money well spent for those seeking a good co op game.

I'm not 7 or 8 but i do know this game is a hit. There are characters for younger gamers and older gamers!!! This is a very fun and useful game. I bought it for all my siblings for Christmas and they were in love with it from the start, to me I actually wasn't at first seeing the total point but then again younger kids know what they want, but seeing the smiling faces on their faces really put a smile on mine!
Rated 9 out of 10 by DaBoMbXD Fun game for people with siblings.
As a big brother with 2 yunger siblings, this is a fun game to play with yunger siblings. I am usually used to playing games like Assasins Creed and call of duty, But this game is a fun and good game to play if u want to spend time with your yunger siblings. You could also play it if u r tirered of those shooting games. It takes quite a bit of thinking wat to do next. I think this is a must buy for everyone.

Disney's new console game keeps you laughing throughout as you solve puzzles, battle evil, explore lands based on Disney and Pixar films (ex. Monsters Inc., Lilo & Stitch), and look a bit foolish. This game will just be a great excuse to play with friends, local or online, and trust me, it'll be awesome, well, at least $50 awesome.

IF you want a simple beat em up to play with a 5-8 yr old this is awesome. Not too complicated and doesn't rush you thru the levels. It's not super long (like 6 worlds with 3 lvls each) but it oozes charm. Good couch co-op too. Get it if you wanna all play together.

Played a preview of this game at the Disney D23 Expo. It is like LBP, great that they made a Disney version. Great game to play with the kids as a family. Can't wait only a few more weeks.

Hopefully they are just making this the Little Big Planet for 360 I'd love to see the Xbox have its own creation and player maps like LBP does on PS3
