Not Worth The Stress
I love dead space. I've put around 70 hours into this game and have encountered quite a few flaws though. The hardcore gamemode, where every time you die you must restart completely, is not worth even reading the description of. Me and a friend decided to give it a try and it lasted 17 minutes. Lack of skill isn't what had us restart. In chapter 1, after a unitologist blows up your ride out of the area and you tumble into the sewers, I glitched under the map when tumbling and died. The same thing happened in a normal save while descending through the ventilation on the rappel to get to the city. That's the least of my worries though. 95% of the time my game autosaves, it freezes my xbox. I have no guns in my safe and have tried selling large amounts of deposited ammo and health and it still continues to freeze. both game discs have been installed before this problem occurred. The awakened DLC freezes every time i enter this particular doorway in chapter 2 as well. My save file's percentages glitch too. It often tells me I have 0% and when this first happened, I became quite upset. There is another glitch too, where the character dialogue becomes sped up, jibberish, and random noises. Even though it is no glitch death, it's still very irritating. I think I also randomly lost my third scavenger bot. It randomly dissapeared and never came back. If all these glitches were fixed, this game would easily be a 9.5 out of 10. I do not recommend this game to anyone until there is a patch for all of these glitches.

Good, but lost all the scares.
Dead Space 3 was good overall, but it could have been better. In the end, I would consider this the Resident Evil 4 of the series.

Amazing!!!!
This game is amazing. I was pumped when I first heard about it. Game Stop was not joking when they gave it a 9.75/10. It is a very good game and has a good story. The only thing is it doesn't have as much scary as the previous games had. But makes up for it by cusomization on weapons and crafting the right things for the job.

They Killed another great Franchise
This game was horrible , boring and painful to play, the enemies come at you too quick, now that wouldn't be a problem if 1, you could hit them. and 2 if your guns actually did anything, this is no longer survival horror, its more action based . way to much health and ammo readily available .Yes graphics and sound are great ......but.........thats not enough to revitalize this game. the worst of the series

Great Additin to the Dead Space Series
The game is awesome! If you love the series, this is a must get. The story is great, but the stories between characters are dull with the exception of Carver while playing co-op. The co-op is very fun and provides a good change to the experience. The new setting is superb and looks amazing. The game has one of the highest replayability values I've ever experienced, especially with the help of the awesome and fun weapon crafting system (which I have probably spent hours just doing that). I don't think it's quite as good as the first, but much better than the second.

The ice...is gonna BREAK
A thorough enjoyment that has its jump scares and aggressive enemies on a backwater ice hole of a planet. Not a fan of the co-op (nor EA's attempt to force you to do co-op in order to get a 100% finish rating). The weapon customization choices MORE than fix any problems I had playing. A must have for any Dead Space fan.

Keeps You On Your Toes
Great game. Awesome gameplay. great sound, but they should have gave it a multiplayer. also the story has a lot of back tracking.

Love this game!
As a big fan of the first two Dead Space games, this game really delivered! I played through the game twice already. First time solo to really enjoy the creepy atmosphere and horror elements, the second time in co-op with a friend. They did a fantastic job making both of those awesome! The gameplay and story stayed true to the series. The graphics and soundtrack are so unbelievably great I can't imagine what Dead Space will look like on the next Xbox!

Good addition for fans of the series.
For a third time you are Isaac Clarke and you have to stop another necromorph outbreak, except this time you are on the Hoth-like planet of Tau Volantis. If you are expecting it to not be as scary, you are right. That is the problem for horror game sequels, they start to lose that horror factor. Clarke also does not have all of the hallucinations present in the first and second games. However, the combat is as fun as ever, and the new weapon upgrade system is amazing as you can craft ridiculous weapon combinations and trying to find parts, circuits, and other items is still fun. The addition of co-op does make it easier when playing with someone else, but having Carter around really does add another level to the story. If you are a fan of the series, you will feel right at home, but maybe slightly disappointed. If not, I would recommend playing the other games first. Still, it is as enjoyable as ever.
